1Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
1خداوند کلام خداوند بر من نازل شد:
2Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
2«ای انسان خاکی، رویت را بسوی کوه سعیر بگردان و علیه آن پیشگویی کن
3and tell it, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.
3و بگو خداوند متعال چنین می فرماید: ای کوهستان سعیر من دشمن تو هستم. دست خود را دراز می کنم و ترا ویران و متروک می سازم.
4I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
4شهرهایت را خراب و ویران می کنم تا غیر مسکون شوی و بدانی که من خداوند هستم.
5Because you have had a perpetual enmity, and have given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
5تو دشمن همیشگی قوم اسرائیل بوده ای. در وقتی که مردم اسرائیل بخاطر گناهان شان مجازات می شدند تو هم در کشتن آن ها سهم گرفتی.
6therefore, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you.
6بنابران من، خداوند متعال، بحیات خودم قسم، که مرگ بسراغت می آید و از مرگ فرار کرده نمی توانی، زیرا از مرگ و ریختن خون دیگران لذت می بری.
7Thus will I make Mount Seir an astonishment and a desolation; and I will cut off from it him who passes through and him who returns.
7کوهستان سعیر را ویران و متروک می سازم و کسانی که در آن رفت و آمد کنند از بین می برم.
8I will fill its mountains with its slain: in your hills and in your valleys and in all your watercourses shall they fall who are slain with the sword.
8کوهها را با اجساد مقتولین می پوشانم و کوهها، تپه ها، دره ها و دریاها را از جنازه های کسانی که در جنگ کشته شده اند، پُر می کنم.
9I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
9من ترا برای همیشه ویران می کنم و شهرهایت دیگر هرگز آباد نمی شوند. آنگاه می دانی که من خداوند هستم.
10Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Yahweh was there:
10باوجودیکه من در سرزمین اسرائیل بودم، تو گفتی مردم اسرائیل و یهودا متعلق به من هستند و سرزمین آن ها را تصرف می کنم.
11therefore, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have shown out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge you.
11بنابران آنچنان که من خداوند زنده هستم، بحیات خودم سوگند، بخاطر خشم و حسد و کینه ای که نسبت به قوم اسرائیل داشته ای، ترا جزا می دهم و وقتی ترا به سزای اعمالت برسانم، آنگاه تو مرا خواهی شناخت،
12You shall know that I, Yahweh, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they have been given us to devour.
12و خواهی دانست که من، خداوند سخنان تحقیر آمیزت را شنیدم که گفتی سرزمین اسرائیل ویران شده است و من آن را می بلعم.
13You have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard it.
13همچنین با غرور و تکبر سخنان زیادی برضد من گفته ای و من همه را شنیدم.»
14Thus says the Lord Yahweh: When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
14خداوند متعال به کوهستان سعیر می فرماید: «من ترا ویران می سازم و تمام مردم روی زمین شاد می شوند،زیرا وقتی سرزمین اسرائیل که متعلق به من بود، ویران شد شما خوشحال شدید. پس کوهستان سعیر و کشور ادوم، همگی بکلی ویران می شوند و آنگاه می دانند که من خداوند هستم.»
15As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to you: you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
15زیرا وقتی سرزمین اسرائیل که متعلق به من بود، ویران شد شما خوشحال شدید. پس کوهستان سعیر و کشور ادوم، همگی بکلی ویران می شوند و آنگاه می دانند که من خداوند هستم.»
