1Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
1کلام خداوند بر من نازل شد:
2You, son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh to the land of Israel, An end: the end has come on the four corners of the land.
2«ای انسان خاکی، از جانب من، خداوند متعال، به قوم اسرائیل بگو که این پایان کار تمام سرزمین آن ها است.
3Now is the end on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
3دیگر همه چیز بپایان رسیده است و بخاطر اعمال زشت تان شما را مجازات می کنم و خشم خود را بر شما فرومی ریزم.
4My eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
4دیگر با نگاه شفقت به شما نمی نگرم و بر شما رحم نمی کنم. چون به راه های غلط رفتید و مرتکب کارهای زشت شدید، شما را جزا می دهم. آنگاه می دانید که من خداوند هستم.»
5Thus says the Lord Yahweh: An evil, an only evil; behold, it comes.
5خداوند متعال چنین می فرماید: «بلاهای پی در پی بر سر تان می آیند.
6An end has come, the end has come; it awakes against you; behold, it comes.
6پایان کار تان رسیده است. مصیبت عنقریب بسراغ تان می آید و همه چیز تمام می شود.
7Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land: the time has come, the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.
7ای ساکنین این سرزمین، اجل شما رسیده است. زمان آشفتگی و پریشانی نزدیک است و روزهای خوشی و هلهله بپایان رسیده است.
8Now will I shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
8بزودی خشم خود را بر شما فرومی ریزم و قهر من دامنگیر تان می شود. شما را طبق روش و کردار تان داوری می کنم و بخاطر اعمال زشت تان مجازات می شوید.
9My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will bring on you according to your ways; and your abominations shall be in the midst of you; and you shall know that I, Yahweh, do strike.
9با نظر محبت به شما نمی نگرم و رحم نمی کنم، بلکه شما را مطابق اعمال تان و بخاطر کارهای زشتی که مرتکب شده اید، جزا می دهم. آنگاه می دانید که من، خداوند، شما را مجازات می کنم.»
10Behold, the day, behold, it comes: your doom is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.
10روز نیستی و فنای تان نزدیک است، زیرا بی عدالتی به اوج خود رسیده است و تکبر موج می زند.
11Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There shall be nothing of value among them.
11ظلم و ستم، شرارت را بار آورده است. هیچ چیز شان باقی نمی ماند، نه فراوانی، نه ثروت و نه حشمت و جلال شان.
12The time has come, the day draws near: don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.
12آن زمان معین رسیده و آن روز نزدیک شده است. در آن روز، دیگر خرید و فروش ارزشی نمی داشته باشد، زیرا تمام مردم به قهر و غضب من گرفتار می شوند.
13For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude of it, none shall return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
13هیچ تاجری آنقدر زنده نمی ماند که برود و آنچه که از دست داده است، دوباره به دست آورد، چون خشم من دامنگیر همگی می شود و کسانی که بدکار هستند، از بین می روند.
14They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but none goes to the battle; for my wrath is on all its multitude.
14سرود جنگ نواخته می شود و همه چیز آماده است، اما هیچ کس به جنگ نمی رود، زیرا خشم من مردم را گرفتار کرده است.
15The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within: he who is in the field shall die with the sword: and he who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
15شمشیر در بیرون شهر است و مرض و قحطی در داخل آن. اگر کسی از شهر خارج شود با شمشیر کشته می شود و اگر در بین شهر بماند در اثر مرض و قحطی می میرد.
16But those of those who escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.
16حتی کسی که از این بلاها جان سالم بدر برد و فرار نماید و مثل فاخته ای که از دره ها به کوهها فرار می کند، یکه و تنها بخاطر گناهان خود آه و ناله می کند.
17All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
17دستها سست و زانوان لرزان می شوند.
18They shall also clothe themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.
18همگی وحشتزده لباس ماتم می پوشند. سرهای شان تراشیده و سرافگنده می شوند.
19They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Yahweh: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.
19نقره و طلای خود را مانند اشیای نجس دور می ریزند. در روز غضب خداوند، نقره و طلا نمی توانند آن ها را نجات بدهند. این چیزها دیگر نمی توانند آرزو های شان را برآورده سازند و شکم شان را سیر کنند، زیرا طمع به مال و ثروت آن ها را براه گناه برده است.
20As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it to them as an unclean thing.
20با جواهراتی که به داشتن آن ها افتخار می کردند، بتهای منفور و کثیف ساختند، بنابران من آن ها را برای شان کثیف و نجس می سازم.
21I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.
21خداوند می فرماید: «بیگانگان را می فرستم تا همه ثروت شان را تاراج کنند و به مردم شریر به غنیمت می دهم که همه را نجس بسازند.
22My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
22حتی وقتی بدکاران در عبادتگاه من داخل شوند و آنرا آلوده و بی حرمت کنند، من مانع نمی شوم.
23Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
23برای قوم اسرائیل زنجیرها را آماده کنید، زیرا سرزمین شان پُر از خونریزی و جنایت است و در شهر فتنه و آشوب برپا است.
24Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned.
24شریرترین اقوام را می فرستم تا خانه های شان را تصاحب کنند. به غرور قدرتمندان خاتمه می دهم و مساکن مقدس آن ها آلوده می شوند.
25Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
25وقتی دچار مصیبت گردند آرامش می طلبند، اما آنرا نمی یابند.
26Mischief shall come on mischief, and rumor shall be on rumor; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
26بلاها و شایعات بد پی در پی می رسند. به انبیاء رو می آورند تا آینده را برای شان پیشگویی کنند، ولی کمکی نمی گیرند. کاهنان و مو سفیدان هم از دادن هدایت و مشوره عاجز می مانند.پادشاه ماتم می گیرد و بزرگان امید خود را از دست می دهند. مردم از ترس می لرزند، زیرا با آن ها طبق کردار شان معامله می کنم و آن ها را طوریکه سزاوار هستند، جزا می دهم، تا بدانند که من خداوند هستم.»
27The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do to them after their way, and according to their own judgments will I judge them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
27پادشاه ماتم می گیرد و بزرگان امید خود را از دست می دهند. مردم از ترس می لرزند، زیرا با آن ها طبق کردار شان معامله می کنم و آن ها را طوریکه سزاوار هستند، جزا می دهم، تا بدانند که من خداوند هستم.»
