1Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
1ای برادران، اگر کسی در حین ارتکاب خطا دیده شود شما که روحانی هستید او را با اخلاص به راه راست آورید، اما خود را نگهدارید مبادا شما نیز دستخوش وسوسه شوید.
2Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
2بارهای یکدیگر را حمل کنید و به این طریق حکم مسیح را بجا خواهید آورد.
3For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
3اگر کسی خود را شخص بزرگی بداند در حالی که چیزی نیست، خود را فریب می دهد.
4But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.
4هرکس باید رفتار خود را بیازماید و اگر رفتارش پسندیده بود، می تواند به خود فخر کند و لزومی ندارد که خود را با دیگران مقایسه کند،
5For each man will bear his own burden.
5زیرا هرکس باید متحمل بار خود باشد.
6But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
6هر که در کلام تعلیم یافته باشد، معلم را در تمام نعمات خویش شریک سازد.
7Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
7فریب نخورید، هیچ کس نمی تواند خدا را فریب دهد، زیرا آنچه آدمی بکارد، همان را درو خواهد کرد.
8For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
8مثلاً اگر کسی بذر در کشتزار نفس خویش بکارد، از آن خرمن مرگ را درو خواهد کرد و اگر در کشتزار روح خدا بکارد از روح زندگی ابدی را درو خواهد کرد.
9Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
9از انجام نیکوکاری خسته نشویم زیرا اگر دست از کار نکشیم در وقت مناسب محصول خود را درو خواهیم کرد.
10So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
10پس تا آنجا که فرصت داریم به همه نیکی کنیم، مخصوصاً به کسانی که در ایمان با ما اعضای یک خانواده هستند.
11See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.
11ببینید من با دست خود با چه حروف درشتی برای شما می نویسم.
12As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
12مقصود آنانی که شما را به سنت مجبور می کنند، این است که تظاهر کنند. مخصوصاً آن ها نمی خواهند به خاطر صلیب مسیح جفا ببینند.
13For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
13حتی آنانی که سنت شده اند، شریعت را بجا نمی آورند! آن ها می خواهند که شما سنت شوید تا به اطاعت شما در یک عمل جسمانی فخر کنند.
14But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
14و اما من، خدا نکند که به چیزی جز صلیب خداوند ما عیسی مسیح فخر کنم که به وسیلۀ آن، دنیا برای من مصلوب شد و من برای دنیا.
15For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
15شدن یا نشدن سنت مهم نیست، بلکه فقط خلقت نو اهمیت دارد.
16As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.
16به همۀ آنانی که در زندگی خود از این قاعده پیروی می کنند، یعنی به اسرائیل حقیقی خدا، سلامتی و رحمت باد.
17From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.
17دیگر هیچ کس مزاحم من نشود، زیرا داغ هایی مسیح را بر بدن خود دارم.ای برادران، فیض خداوند ما عیسی مسیح با روح شما باد، آمین.
