1But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
1خداوند که آفرینندۀ تو ای یعقوب و صانع تو ای اسرائیل است، چنین می فرماید: «نترس، زیرا که من ترا فدیه دادم. من ترا به نام خوانده ام و تو متعلق به من هستی.
2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
2وقتی از آب های عمیق بگذری، من همراه تو می باشم و هنگامی که از دریاها عبور کنی، از غرق شدن نجاتت می دهم و اگر در میان آتش قدم بگذاری، شعله هایش ترا نمی سوزاند،
3For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
3زیرا من خداوند، قدوس اسرائیل، نجات دهندۀ تو هستم. من مصر، حبشه و سبا را فدای آزادی تو می سازم.
4Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you; therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.
4تو برای من گرامی و محترم و عزیز هستی، بنابران، آن اقوام را فدای تو می کنم.
5Don’t be afraid; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.
5نترس، زیرا من همراه تو هستم. فرزندانت را از شرق و غرب جمع می کنم
6I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
6و به کشورهای شمال و جنوب می گویم که همه پسران و دخترانم را در هر جائی که باشند، به وطن شان بفرستند.
7everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”
7همه کسانی که بنام من یاد می شوند، می آیند، چونکه من آن ها را برای جلال خود آفریده و مصور نموده ام.»
8Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
8آنهائی را که چشم دارند، ولی نمی بینند و گوش دارند، اما نمی شنوند، بیاورید!
9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, “That is true.”
9همۀ اقوام را جمع کنید و از آن ها بپرسید که کدامیک از خدایان شان می تواند از آینده خبر بدهند و کدامیک از آن ها توانسته اند این واقعات را پیشگوئی کنند. بگذارید بیایند و گواهی بدهند و حقیقت ادعای خود را ثابت سازند.
10“You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.
10خداوند می فرماید: «شما ای قوم اسرائیل، شاهدان و بندگان من هستید. من شما را برگزیدم تا مرا بشناسید و به من ایمان داشته باشید و بدانید که من خدای یکتا هستم و خدای دیگر هرگز وجود نداشته و ندارد و نخواهد داشت.
11I myself am Yahweh; and besides me there is no savior.
11من، تنها من خداوند هستم و بجز من نجات دهندۀ دیگر نیست.
12I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown; and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “and I am God.
12شما خود تان می دانید که خدای دیگری نبود تا به داد شما برسد، من بودم که از آینده خبر دادم و برای نجات شما آمدم.
13Yes, since the day was I am he; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?”
13من خدا هستم و همیشه هم خدا می باشم. هیچ کسی نمی تواند از دست من رهائی یابد و هیچ کسی قادر نیست که مانع کارهای من شود.»
14Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
14خداوند، خدای نجات بخشای شما، قدوس اسرائیل چنین می فرماید: «بخاطر نجات شما لشکری را به بابل فرستادم تا شهرهای آنجا را خراب کرده فریاد خوشی کلدانیان به غم و ماتم تبدیل شود.
15I am Yahweh, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”
15من خداوند، خدای مقدس و خالق و پادشاه اسرائیل هستم.»
16Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
16خداوند که راهی در بحر باز کرد و آب های خروشان را به کنار زد، چنین می فرماید:
17who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick):
17«لشکر بزرگ مصر را با عراده ها و اسپهای شان از کشور بیرون آوردم تا در امواج متلاطم بحر غرق شوند و چراغ حیات شان خاموش گردد.»
18“Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old.
18«گذشته را فراموش کنید و به آن نیندیشید،
19Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
19زیرا من چیز تازه ای بوجود می آورم که همین حالا به ظهور می رسد و شما آنرا می بینید. در بیابان راهی باز می کنم و نهرهائی را در آن جاری می سازم.
20The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
20حیوانات وحشی، شغالان و شترمرغها کارهای مرا تمجید می کنند. در بیابان چشمه ها را جاری ساخته آنرا سیراب می کنم و به قوم برگزیدۀ خود،
21the people which I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.
21یعنی قومی را که برای خود آفریده ام، آب می دهم تا مرا ستایش کنند.
22Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.
22اما ای اسرائیل، تو از من خسته شدی و مرا نپرستیدی.
23You have not brought me of your sheep for burnt offerings; neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.
23برای من گوسفندی را جهت قربانی سوختنی نیاوردی و با قربانی هایت مرا احترام نکردی. من بزور از تو نخواستم که برایم هدیه بیاوری و یا با دود کردن خوشبوئی باری بر دوشت بنهم.
24You have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices; but you have burdened me with your sins. You have wearied me with your iniquities.
24برای من خوشبوئی نخریدی و با تقدیم چربی قربانی خوشنودم نکردی، ولی با گناهانت مرا خسته نمودی و با خطاهایت مرا بتنگ آوردی.
25I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.
25من آن خدائی هستم که بخاطر خودم خطاهای ترا می بخشم و گناهانت را بیاد نمی آورم.
26Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set forth your case, that you may be justified.
26اگر با من دعوائی داری، بیا آنرا ارائه کن و ثابت نما که حق بجانب هستی.
27Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
27اولین اجداد تو خطا کردند و رهبرانت در برابر من گناه ورزیدند،بنابران، من کاهنانت را بی حرمت ساختم و ترا به مصیبت گرفتار کردم و رسوا نمودم.»
28Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult.”
