1The word of Yahweh came also to me, saying,
1خداوند به من چنین فرمود:
2You shall not take a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters, in this place.
2«تو در این جا نباید ازدواج کنی و صاحب دختران و پسران شوی،
3For thus says Yahweh concerning the sons and concerning the daughters who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them, and concerning their fathers who became their father in this land:
3زیرا من خداوند می گویم، دختران و پسرانی که در اینجا بدنیا می آیند و همچنان والدین شان
4They shall die grievous deaths: they shall not be lamented, neither shall they be buried; they shall be as dung on the surface of the ground; and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth.
4در اثر مرض مهلکی می میرند. کسی برای آن ها عُزا نمی گیرد و جنازه های شان دفن نمی شوند، بلکه مثل پارو بروی زمین باقی می مانند. همۀ آن ها در اثر جنگ و قحطی هلاک می گردند و اجساد شان خوراک مرغان هوا و جانوران زمین می شوند.»
5For thus says Yahweh, Don’t enter into the house of mourning, neither go to lament, neither bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, says Yahweh, even loving kindness and tender mercies.
5زیرا خداوند چنین می فرماید: «به خانۀ کسی برای تعزیت نرو و برای کسی گریه و نوحه نکن. من دیگر به این قوم برکت نمی دهم و از احسان و رحمت خود آن ها را بی نصیب می سازم. این گفتۀ خداوند است.
6Both great and small shall die in this land; they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them;
6خورد و بزرگِ این سرزمین می میرند و جنازه های شان دفن نمی شوند. نه کسی برای شان ماتم می گیرد، نه خود را برای شان مجروح می کند و نه موهای سر خود را می تراشد.
7neither shall men break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
7کسی برای تسلی آن ها همرای شان غذا نمی خورد و نه کسی بخاطر مرگ پدر و مادر شان برای تعزیت می آید.
8You shall not go into the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and to drink.
8تو نباید در مهمانی و ضیافت شان بروی و بخوری و بنوشی،
9For thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.
9زیرا من، خداوند قادر مطلق و خدای اسرائیل به شما می گویم که در دوران زندگی شما و پیش چشم تان تمام آواز های خوشی، خنده ها و آواز داماد و عروس را خاتمه می دهم.
10It shall happen, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall tell you, Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God?
10وقتی همۀ اینها را به مردم بگوئی، آن ها می پرسند: «چرا خداوند ما را به چنین جزاهای سنگین محکوم می کند؟ چه خطائی از ما سر زده است و در برابر خداوند، خدای خود چه گناهی کرده ایم؟»
11Then you shall tell them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, says Yahweh, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshiped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
11تو در جواب شان بگو که خداوند می فرماید: بخاطری که پدران شما مرا ترک کردند. پیرو خدایان دیگر شدند، آن ها را پرستش کردند، مرا فراموش نمودند و احکام مرا بجا نیاوردند.
12and you have done evil more than your fathers; for, behold, you walk every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that you don’t listen to me:
12اما اعمال شما بدتر از کارهای اجداد تان بوده است، سرسختانه بدنبال هوس های نفسانی و گناه آلود خود می روید و به کلام من گوش نمی دهید،
13therefore will I cast you forth out of this land into the land that you have not known, neither you nor your fathers; and there you shall serve other gods day and night; for I will show you no favor.
13بنابران شما را از این کشور بیرون می اندازم و به سرزمینی می رانم که هم برای شما و هم برای پدران تان بیگانه است. در آنجا خدایان دیگر را پرستش خواهید کرد و من دیگر بر شما رحم نخواهم نمود.»
14Therefore behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that it shall no more be said, As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
14خداوند می فرماید: «زمانی فرا می رسد که مردم نام منِ خدای زنده را بخاطر این یاد نمی کنند که من قوم اسرائیل را از کشور مصر بیرون آوردم،
15but, As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries where he had driven them. I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.
15بلکه می گویند که چطور مردم اسرائیل را از سرزمین شمال و از همه کشورهائی که آن ها را به آنجا رانده بودم، بازگردانیدم. البته من آن ها را به سرزمینی که به اجداد شان داده بودم، دوباره می آورم.»
16Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says Yahweh, and they shall fish them up; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.
16خداوند می فرماید: «اینک ماهیگیران بسیار خواهم فرستاد تا ایشان را صید نمایند و بعد شکارچیان بسیار را می فرستم تا ایشان را از هر کوه و از هر تپه و سوراخ های صخره شکار نمایند،
17For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from my face, neither is their iniquity concealed from my eyes.
17زیرا من مراقب همۀ کردار و رفتارشان هستم. هیچ کار آن ها از نظر من پنهان نمی ماند و نمی توانند گناهان خود را از من مخفی کنند.
18First I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.
18بخاطر خطا و گناه شان آن ها را دو چند جزا می دهم، زیرا آن ها زمین مرا با بتهای بی جان و منفور خود آلوده و همه جا را پُر کرده اند.»
19Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.
19ای خداوند، تو نیروی من و قلعۀ من هستی و در هنگام سختی پناهم می دهی. مردم از همه نقاط روی زمین بحضور تو می آیند و می گویند: «پدران ما از خدایان دروغین و چیزهای بیهوده پیروی می کردند.
20Shall a man make to himself gods, which yet are no gods?
20آیا یک انسان می تواند برای خود خدا بسازد؟ بتِ ساختۀ دست انسان، خدا نیست.»خداوند می فرماید: «این بار قدرت و عظمت خود را به آن ها نشان می دهم تا بدانند که اسم من خداوند است.»
21Therefore behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is Yahweh.
21خداوند می فرماید: «این بار قدرت و عظمت خود را به آن ها نشان می دهم تا بدانند که اسم من خداوند است.»
