¹ Yahweh “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tent of Meeting, saying,

¹خداوند از خیمۀ عبادت موسی را فراخوانده به او فرمود: «به قوم اسرائیل بگو که وقتی کسی برای خداوند قربانی می کند، قربانی او باید گاو، گوسفند یا بز باشد.

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.

²اگر برای قربانی سوختنی، گاو می آورد آن گاو باید نر و بی عیب باشد و برای اینکه مورد قبول خداوند قرار گیرد، آنرا به دهن دروازۀ دخول خیمۀ حضور خداوند قربانی کند.

³“‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

³آن شخص باید دست خود را بر سر قربانی بگذارد به این ترتیب آن قربانی قبول می شود و گناهان او را کفاره می کند.

⁴He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

⁴بعد گاو را در حضور خداوند ذبح کند و پسران هارون که کاهنان هستند خون آن را گرفته بر اطراف قربانگاه که پیشروی دروازۀ دخول خیمۀ حضور خداوند است بپاشند.

⁵He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

⁵آنگاه آن شخص قربانی را پوست و قطعه قطعه کند.

⁶He shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

⁶کاهنان، یعنی پسران هارون، هیزم را بر قربانگاه گذاشته، آتش را روشن کنند

⁷The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

⁷و قطعات حیوان را با سر و چربی آن بالای هیزم بگذارند.

⁸and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

⁸سپس آن شخص دل و روده و پاچه های حیوان را با آب بشوید و کاهنِ موظف همه را در آتش بالای قربانگاه بسوزاند. این قربانی سوختنی که بر آتش تقدیم می شود مورد پسند خداوند قرار می گیرد.

⁹but its innards and its legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

⁹اگر گوسفند یا بز را برای قربانی می آورند، آن حیوان باید نر و بی عیب باشد.

¹⁰“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep, or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without blemish.

¹⁰شخصی که آنرا می آورد، آنرا در سمت شمال قربانگاه در حضور خداوند سر ببرد. کاهنان، یعنی پسران هارون، خون آنرا گرفته به دورادور قربانگاه بپاشند.

¹¹He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

¹¹بعد آن شخص، قربانی را قطعه قطعه کرده کاهنِ موظف آن قطعات را با سر و چربی آن بر هیزم بالای قربانگاه قرار دهد.

¹²He shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,

¹²اما آن شخص دل و روده و پاچۀ حیوان را با آب شسته و کاهن همه را بالای قربانگاه بسوزاند. این قربانی سوختنی که بر آتش تقدیم می شود، مورد پسند خداوند قرار می گیرد.

¹³but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹³اگر شخصی پرنده ای را برای قربانی می آورد، آن پرنده باید یک قمری یا یک کبوتر جوانه باشد.

¹⁴“‘If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

¹⁴کاهن آن را به قربانگاه آورده سرش را بکند و بر قربانگاه بسوزاند. بعد خون آن را بر پهلوی قربانگاه بریزد.

¹⁵The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;

¹⁵سنگدان و مواد داخل آن را بیرون کرده با پرهایش بطرف شرق قربانگاه، در خاکستر دانی بیندازد.بعد از بالهای آن گرفته پرنده را از وسط پاره کند، اما پرنده باید دو تکه نشود. آنگاه کاهن آن را بر هیزم بالای قربانگاه بسوزاند. بوی این قربانی سوختنی که بر آتش تقدیم می شود مورد پسند خداوند قرار می گیرد.

¹⁶and he shall take away its crop with its filth, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.

¹⁶بعد از بالهای آن گرفته پرنده را از وسط پاره کند، اما پرنده باید دو تکه نشود. آنگاه کاهن آن را بر هیزم بالای قربانگاه بسوزاند. بوی این قربانی سوختنی که بر آتش تقدیم می شود مورد پسند خداوند قرار می گیرد.

¹⁷He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
