¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they drew near before Yahweh, and died;

¹بعد از آنکه دو پسر هارون، بخاطریکه بحضور خدا نزدیک شدند و مردند، خداوند به موسی فرمود: «به برادرت، هارون بگو که تنها در وقت معین به قدس الاقداس که پشت پرده است و در آنجا صندوق پیمان و تخت رحمت قرار دارند، داخل شود. در هیچ زمان دیگر وارد آنجا نشود، مبادا بمیرد. زیرا من در ابر بالای تخت رحمت ظاهر می شوم.

²and Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother, not to come at all times into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die: for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.

²شرایط ورود هارون به قدس الاقداس به این ترتیب است: او باید یک گوساله را برای قربانی گناه و یک قوچ را بعنوان قربانی سوختنی بیاورد.

³“Herewith shall Aaron come into the sanctuary: with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.

³او باید غسل کند و لباس مخصوص کاهنی را که عبارت از ردای کتانی، زیرجامه، کمربند و دستار کتانی است بپوشد.

⁴He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches on his body, and shall put on the linen sash, and he shall be clothed with the linen turban. They are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water, and put them on.

⁴و از قوم اسرائیل دو بز نر را برای قربانی گناه و یک قوچ را جهت قربانی سوختنی بگیرد.

⁵He shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

⁵هارون باید گوساله را برای کَفارۀ گناه خود و خانواده اش قربانی کند.

⁶“Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.

⁶سپس دو بز را گرفته بحضور خداوند به دَم دروازۀ خیمۀ حضور خداوند ببرد.

⁷He shall take the two goats, and set them before Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

⁷بعد از آن هارون دو سنگ را گرفته قرعه بیندازد تا معلوم کند که کدام یک از آن دو بز از خداوند و کدام آن از عزازیل باشد.

⁸Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats; one lot for Yahweh, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

⁸آنگاه بزی را که بقید قرعه برای خداوند تعیین شد، بعنوان قربانی گناه ذبح کند

⁹Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for Yahweh, and offer him for a sin offering.

⁹و بز دیگر را زنده به حضور خداوند آورده و برای عزازیل در بیابان رها کند تا گناه قوم اسرائیل را با خود ببرد.

¹⁰But the goat, on which the lot fell for the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before Yahweh, to make atonement for him, to send him away for the scapegoat into the wilderness.

¹⁰پس از آنکه هارون گوساله را برای کَفارۀ گناه خود و خانواده اش قربانی کرد،

¹¹“Aaron shall present the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.

¹¹یک منقل پُر از زغال مشتعل را از قربانگاه گرفته با دو مشت از خوشبوئی کوبیده به قدس الاقداس ببرد.

¹²He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Yahweh, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil:

¹²و خوشبوئی را بحضور خداوند بر آتش بیندازد تا دود خوشبوئی مانند ابری تخت رحمت را که بالای صندوق پیمان است بپوشاند مبادا تخت رحمت را ببیند و بمیرد.

¹³and he shall put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the testimony, so that he will not die.

¹³بعد کمی از خون گوساله را گرفته با انگشت خود یکبار بر حصۀ پیشروی تخت رحمت و بعد هفت مرتبه بر قسمت پیشروی صندوق پیمان بپاشد.

¹⁴He shall take some of the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

¹⁴سپس بز را برای کَفارۀ گناه قوم قربانی کند و خون آن را به قدس الاقداس ببرد و مثل خون گوساله بر تخت رحمت و پیشروی آن بپاشد.

¹⁵“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

¹⁵به این طریق برای قدس الاقداس که بخاطر گناهان قوم اسرائیل آلوده شده و برای خیمۀ حضور خداوند که در بین شان قرار دارد و شرعاً ناپاک گردیده است کفاره می شود.

¹⁶and he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting, that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleanness.

¹⁶از زمانی که هارون برای مراسم کفاره به داخل قدس الاقداس می رود تا که از آنجا بیرون می آید، هیچ کسی نباید در داخل خیمۀ حضور خداوند حاضر باشد. وقتی هارون مراسم قربانی را برای خود، خانواده و تمام قوم اسرائیل به انجام رسانید،

¹⁷No one shall be in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel.

¹⁷باید بطرف قربانگاه در حضور خداوند برود و برای آن کفاره کند. بعد کمی از خون گوساله و بز را گرفته بر چهار کنج قربانگاه بمالد.

¹⁸“He shall go out to the altar that is before Yahweh and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the bull’s blood, and some of the goat’s blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar.

¹⁸و قدری از خون را با انگشت خود هفت بار بر قربانگاه بپاشد تا آن را از آلودگی های قوم اسرائیل پاک کرده تقدیسش نماید.

¹⁹He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

¹⁹وقتی هارون مراسم کفاره را برای قدس الاقداس، خیمۀ حضور خداوند و قربانگاه تمام کرد، بز زنده را به حضور خداوند حاضر کند

²⁰“When he has made an end of atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat.

²⁰و هر دو دست خود را بر سر آن بگذارد و به گناهان و خطاهای قوم اسرائیل اعتراف کرده گناهان شان را بر سر آن بز انتقال دهد. سپس بز را شخص معینی به بیابان برده در آنجا رهایش کند.

²¹Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness.

²¹آن حیوان تمام گناهان مردم را به جای غیر مسکونی می برد.

²²The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall let the goat go in the wilderness.

²²بعد هارون باید به داخل خیمۀ حضور خداوند برود و لباس مخصوص کاهنی را که جهت اجرای مراسم دینی در قدس الاقداس، پوشیده بود از تن بیرون کرده در همانجا بگذارد.

²³“Aaron shall come into the Tent of Meeting, and shall take off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and shall leave them there.

²³سپس در جای مقدسی غسل کرده لباسهای خود را بپوشد. بعد از آن بیرون رفته قربانی سوختنی را برای خود و برای قوم اسرائیل تقدیم نماید تا به این وسیله گناهان او و مردم اسرائیل کفاره شوند.

²⁴Then he shall bathe himself in water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.

²⁴همه چربی قربانی گناه را بر سر قربانگاه بسوزاند.

²⁵The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar.

²⁵و کسیکه بز را به بیابان می برد بعد از اجرای وظیفه لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند و آنوقت می تواند وارد اردوگاه شود.

²⁶“He who lets the goat go for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

²⁶گوساله و بزی که بعنوان قربانی گناه ذبح شدند و هارون خون آن ها را برای کَفارۀ گناه مردم به قدس الاقداس برد، باید به بیرون اردوگاه برده با پوست و گوشت و سرگین آن ها سوختانده شوند.

²⁷The bull for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried forth outside the camp; and they shall burn their skins, their flesh, and their dung with fire.

²⁷و کسی که آن ها را می سوزاند باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند و آنگاه می تواند به اردوگاه برگردد.

²⁸He who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

²⁸مقررات ذیل را همیشه مراعات کنید: در روز دهم ماه هفتم قوم اسرائیل و هم بیگانگانی که در بین شان ساکن اند، نباید کار کنند،

²⁹“It shall be a statute to you forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and shall do no kind of work, the native-born, or the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you:

²⁹زیرا در آن روز مراسم کَفارۀ گناه اجراء می شود تا همۀ تان در حضور خداوند از گناه پاک باشید.

³⁰for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins you shall be clean before Yahweh.

³⁰آن روز، یک روز بسیار مقدس است و شما نباید به هیچوجه کار کنید، بلکه روزه دار باشید و این قانون را برای همیشه اجراء نمائید.

³¹It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls; it is a statute forever.

³¹این مراسم در نسلهای آینده بوسیلۀ کاهنی که بجای جد خود هارون برای کار کاهنی تعیین و تقدیس می شود، انجام خواهد شد. او لباس های مقدس کتانی را در بر کرده مراسم کَفارۀ گناه را اجراء نماید.

³²The priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be priest in his father’s place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments.

³²او همچنین برای جایگاه مقدس، خیمۀ حضور خداوند، قربانگاه، کاهنان و قوم اسرائیل کفاره کند.و این برای شما یک فریضۀ ابدی بوده برای کَفارۀ گناهان قوم اسرائیل هر سال یک مرتبه اجراء گردد.» موسی همه اوامر خداوند را بجا آورد.

³³Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.

³³و این برای شما یک فریضۀ ابدی بوده برای کَفارۀ گناهان قوم اسرائیل هر سال یک مرتبه اجراء گردد.» موسی همه اوامر خداوند را بجا آورد.

³⁴“This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as Yahweh commanded Moses.
