1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1خداوند به موسی فرمود که هدایات ذیل را به هارون، پسران او و قوم اسرائیل بدهد:
2“Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded,
2«اگر کسی از قوم اسرائیل گاو، گوسفند یا بزی را در جای دیگری بغیر از دَم دروازۀ دخول خیمۀ حضور خداوند برای خداوند قربانی کند، خون ریخته و گناهکار است و دیگر در جملۀ قوم برگزیدۀ خداوند بشمار نمی رود.
3Whatever man there is of the house of Israel, who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,
3معنی این قانون اینست که مردم اسرائیل از این ببعد در صحرا قربانی نکنند، بلکه آن ها باید قربانی های خود را پیش کاهن به دَم دروازۀ دخول خیمۀ حضور خداوند ببرند و بعنوان قربانی سلامتی بحضور خداوند تقدیم نمایند.
4and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before the tabernacle of Yahweh: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.
4و کاهن باید خون قربانی را بر قربانگاه خداوند به دَم دروازۀ خیمۀ حضور خداوند بپاشد و چربی آن را که بویش مثل عطر خوشبو برای خداوند گوارا است، بسوزاند.
5This is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh.
5پس قوم اسرائیل دیگر نباید با قربانی کردن برای ارواح پلید در صحرا به خداوند خیانت کنند. و این برای آن ها یک فریضۀ ابدی است که باید نسل بعد از نسل رعایت شود.
6The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
6به قوم بگو که اگر یک اسرائیلی و یا بیگانه ای که در بین آن ها زندگی می کند، بغیر از دَم دروازۀ خیمۀ حضور خداوند در جای دیگری برای خداوند قربانی کند، از بین قوم طرد شود.
7They shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’
7هرگاه یک اسرائیلی و یا یک بیگانه ای که در میان آن ها زندگی می کند، خون را بخورد از او روی می گردانم و از بین قوم برگزیدۀ خود طردش می کنم.
8“You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
8زیرا که زندگی هر موجودی در خون او است و من خون را به شما دادم تا برای کَفارۀ جانهای تان بر قربانگاه بپاشید. و همین خون است که برای جانهای مردم کفاره می کند.
9and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to sacrifice it to Yahweh; that man shall be cut off from his people.
9بنابران به قوم اسرائیل توصیه می کنم که هیچ کسی، خواه اسرائیلی خواه بیگانه ای که در بین شان ساکن است، نباید خون را بخورد.
10“‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
10هر اسرائیلی یا بیگانه ای که در بین مردم اسرائیل زندگی می کند، اگر حیوان یا پرنده ای را شکار کند، باید خونش را بریزد و خون را با خاک بپوشاند.
11For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.
11زیرا زندگی هر موجودی در خون او است، بنابران به قوم اسرائیل گفتم که آن ها نباید خون هیچ جانوری را بخورند، زیرا که زندگی هر موجودی در خون او است و هر کسی که آنرا بخورد باید از بین قوم رانده شود.
12Therefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”
12هر کسی که گوشت حیوان مرده یا از حیوانی را که توسط یک جانور وحشی دریده شده باشد، بخورد، خواه آن شخص اسرائیلی باشد، خواه بیگانه ای که در بین شان ساکن است، باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند. آن شخص تا شام نجس خواهد بود و بعد از آن پاک می شود.اما اگر لباس خود را نشوید و غسل نکند، گناهکار شمرده می شود.»
13“‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.
13اما اگر لباس خود را نشوید و غسل نکند، گناهکار شمرده می شود.»
14For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life: therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”
15“‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he shall be clean.
16But if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’”
