¹Praise Yah! Psalm 112 is an acrostic poem, with each verse after the initial “Praise Yah!” starting with a letter of the alphabet (ordered from Alef to Tav). Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.

¹هَلّلِویاه، سپاس به خداوند! خوشا به حال کسی که از خداوند می ترسد و در وصایای او بسیار رغبت دارد.

²His seed will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.

²فرزندان او در زمین نیرومند می شوند و نسل راستکاران برکت می بیند.

³Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.

³ثروت و دارائی در خانۀ او می باشد و عدالتش تا به ابد پایدار است.

⁴Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.

⁴نور برای راستکاران در تاریکی طلوع می کند، او بخشنده و رحیم و عادل است.

⁵It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.

⁵سعادتمند است شخصی که رحیم و قرض دهنده باشد. او کارهای خود را با انصاف انجام می دهد.

⁶For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

⁶او هرگز جنبش نمی خورد. شخص عادل تا به ابد یاد می شود.

⁷He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.

⁷از خبر بد نمی ترسد، دل او پایدار است و بر خداوند توکل دارد.

⁸His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.

⁸دل او استوار است و نمی ترسد تا آرزوی خویش را بر دشمنان خود ببیند.

⁹He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.

⁹از روی سخاوت به نیازمندان کمک می کند، عدالتش تا به ابد پایدار است و عزتمند و با قدرت می گردد.شخص شریر این را دیده، غضبناک می شود و دندانهای خود را فشرده، دلش آب می گردد. آرزوی شریران زایل می شود.

¹⁰The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
