¹I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!”

¹آنگاه از عبادتگاه صدای بلندی شنیدم و آن صدا به هفت فرشته گفت: «بروید و هفت جام خشم خدا را به زمین بریزید.»

²The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and evil sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

²پس فرشتۀ اول رفت و جام خود را بر زمین ریخت و زخم های دردناک و بدنمایی بر بدن مردمانی که نشان حیوان وحشی را به خود داشتند و پیکره اش را می پرستیدند، پدیدار گشت.

³The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man. Every living thing in the sea died.

³فرشتۀ دوم جام خود را به بحر ریخت و بحر به خونی مثل خون شخص مرده مبدل شد و همۀ جانداران بحر مُردند.

⁴The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

⁴فرشتۀ سوم جام خود را بر دریاها و چشمه ها ریخت و آن ها به خون مبدل گشتند.

⁵I heard the angel of the waters saying, “You are righteous, who are and who were, you Holy One, because you have judged these things.

⁵آنگاه شنیدم که فرشتۀ حافظ آبها می گفت: «تو در داوری های خویش عادل هستی، تویی آن قدوس که هستی و بوده ای،

⁶For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”

⁶زیرا آنها خون مقدسین و خون انبیاء را ریختند و تو به آنها خون داده ای تا بنوشند، زیرا مستحق آنند.»

⁷I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”

⁷و شنیدم که از قربانگاه ندایی آمد، که می گفت: «بلی، ای خداوند، خدای قادر مطلق، چقدر راست و عادلانه است داوری های تو!»

⁸The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire.

⁸فرشتۀ چهارم جام خود را بر آفتاب ریخت و آن اجازه یافت با گرمای خود آدمیان را بسوزاند.

⁹People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn’t repent and give him glory.

⁹مردم چنان از شدت حرارت آفتاب سوختند که به خدایی که چنین بلایایی در اختیار دارد، کفر می گفتند و حاضر نبودند از اعمال خود توبه نموده، خدا را تمجید نمایند.

¹⁰The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,

¹⁰فرشتۀ پنجم جام خود را بر روی تخت حیوان وحشی ریخت و سلطنت او به تاریکی فرو رفت. آدمیان از درد و رنج، زبان های خود را می گزیدند

¹¹and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They didn’t repent of their works.

¹¹و به خدای آسمان به خاطر دردها و زخم های خویش کفر می گفتند و از اعمال خود توبه نمی کردند.

¹²The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings that come from the sunrise.

¹²فرشتۀ ششم جام خود را بر دریای بزرگ فرات ریخت و آبش خشک شد تا راه برای آمدن شاهان مشرق زمین باز باشد.

¹³I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;

¹³آنگاه دیدم که از دهان اژدها و از دهان حیوان وحشی و از دهان آن نبی دروغین سه روح ناپاک مانند سه بقه بیرون آمدند.

¹⁴for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.

¹⁴این ارواح، شیاطینی هستند که قدرت انجام معجزات نیز دارند. آن ها به سرتاسر جهان می روند تا پادشاهان تمام دنیا را برای جنگ روز بزرگ خدای قادر مطلق جمع کنند.

¹⁵ “Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn’t walk naked, and they see his shame.”

¹⁵«توجه کنید، من مثل یک دزد می آیم. خوشا به حال کسی که آماده باشد و لباس خود را نگه دارد تا مجبور نشود عریان و شرمنده در پیش چشم همه راه برود!»

¹⁶He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, Megiddo.

¹⁶پس شیاطین، پادشاهان را در جایی که به عبرانی «حارمَگِدون» خوانده می شود، جمع کردند.

¹⁷The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came forth out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

¹⁷آنگاه فرشتۀ هفتم جام خود را بر هوا ریخت و از عبادتگاه و از تخت، صدای بلندی شنیده شد که می گفت: «همه چیز تمام شد!»

¹⁸There were lightnings, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men on the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

¹⁸و رعد و برق و صداهای مهیب شنیده شد و زلزلۀ شدیدی رخ داد، که مانند آن در تاریخ بشر هرگز دیده نشده بود.

¹⁹The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

¹⁹شهر بزرگ سه پاره شد. شهرهای دنیا ویران شد و خدا اعمال بابِل بزرگ را نادیده نگرفت، بلکه او را مجبور کرد جامی را که از شراب آتشین خشم و غضب او پُر بود، بنوشد.

²⁰Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

²⁰جزیره ها همه ناپدید و کوه ها محو شدند.دانه های ژالۀ بسیار بزرگ و سنگین از آسمان بر سر آدمیان بارید و مردم به خاطر این ژاله، خدا را کفر می گفتند، زیرا این بلایی بسیار وحشتناک بود.

²¹Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, 1 talent is about 34 kilograms or 75 pounds came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.

²¹دانه های ژالۀ بسیار بزرگ و سنگین از آسمان بر سر آدمیان بارید و مردم به خاطر این ژاله، خدا را کفر می گفتند، زیرا این بلایی بسیار وحشتناک بود.
