¹I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

¹سپس فرشته ای را دیدم که از آسمان به زیر می آمد و کلید چاه بی انتها و زنجیر بزرگی در دست داشت.

²He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,

²او اژدها و آن مار قدیم را که همان ابلیس و یا شیطان است گرفت و او را برای مدت هزار سال در بند نهاده،

³and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

³به چاه بی انتها انداخت و در آن را به رویش بسته، مُهر و لاک کرد تا او دیگر نتواند ملتها را تا پایان آن هزار سال گمراه سازد. بعد از آن برای زمانی کوتاه آزاد گذاشته خواهد شد.

⁴I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

⁴آنگاه تخت هایی را دیدم که بر روی آن ها کسانی نشسته بودند که کار داوری به آن ها واگذار گردیده بود. همچنین کسانی را دیدم که به خاطر شهادت عیسی و کلام خدا سرهای شان از تن جدا شده بود ـ کسانی که آن حیوان وحشی و پیکره اش را پرستش نکرده و نشان آن را بر پیشانی و دست های خود نداشتند ـ آن ها دوباره زنده شده و هزار سال با مسیح حکمرانی کردند.

⁵The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

⁵اما بقیۀ مردگان تا پایان آن هزار سال زنده نشدند. این اولین رستاخیز است.

⁶Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

⁶خجسته و مقدس است کسی که در رستاخیز اول حصه دارد. مرگ دوم بر آنها قدرت ندارد، بلکه آن ها کاهنان خدا و مسیح خواهند بود و تا یک هزار سال با او حکومت خواهند کرد.

⁷And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison,

⁷همین که این هزار سال به پایان برسد، شیطان از زندان خود آزاد خواهد شد

⁸and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

⁸و برای فریب دادن ملتهای که در چهار گوشۀ زمینند، بیرون خواهد رفت. او، جوج و ماجوج را که مانند ریگ های بحر بی شمارند، برای جنگ جمع می کند.

⁹They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them.

⁹آن ها در پهنۀ زمین پخش شدند و اردوی مقدسین و شهر محبوب او را محاصره کردند. اما از آسمان آتش بارید و آنها را نابود ساخت.

¹⁰The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

¹⁰ابلیس که آنها را فریب می داد، خود به داخل بحیرۀ آتش و سنگ گوگرد، جایی که حیوان و نبی دروغین بودند، افگنده شد. آن ها شب و روز و تا ابد عذاب و شکنجه خواهند دید.

¹¹I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.

¹¹آنگاه تخت سفید بزرگی را دیدم که شخصی بر آن نشسته بود. آسمان و زمین از حضور او گریخت و دیگر اثری از آن ها نبود.

¹²I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.

¹²و مردگان را دیدم که همه از بزرگ و کوچک در مقابل تخت ایستاده بودند و کتابها باز می شد. در این وقت کتاب دیگری که همان کتاب زندگی است باز شد. مردگان مطابق آنچه در کتابها نوشته شده بود یعنی مطابق اعمال خود داوری شدند.

¹³The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades or, Hell gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.

¹³بحر، مردگان خود را تحویل و مرگ و عالم اموات نیز مردگانی را که در خود نگاه داشته بودند، پس دادند. آن ها از روی اعمال شان داوری شدند.

¹⁴Death and Hades or, Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

¹⁴آنگاه مرگ و دنیای مردگان به بحیرۀ آتش افگنده شد. این بحیرۀ آتش مرگ دوم است.و هرکس که نامش در کتاب زندگی نوشته نشده بود، به درون آن افگنده شد.

¹⁵If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

¹⁵و هرکس که نامش در کتاب زندگی نوشته نشده بود، به درون آن افگنده شد.
