¹He showed me a TR adds “pure” river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

¹آنگاه دریای آب زندگی را که مثل بلور برق می زد، به من نشان داد. آن دریا از تخت سلطنت خدا و بره سرچشمه گرفته

²in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

²و از میان جادۀ شهر می گذشت. در هر طرف دریا یک درخت زندگی بود که سالی دوازده بار میوه می آورد، هر ماه یکبار از برگ این درخت برای درمان درد ملتها استفاده می شد.

³There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.

³دیگر چیزی که لعنت شده باشد در آن یافت نخواهد شد. تخت سلطنت خدا و بره در آنجا خواهد بود و بندگانش او را پرستش خواهند کرد.

⁴They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

⁴همه او را روبرو خواهند دید و نام او را بر پیشانی های خود خواهند داشت.

⁵There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

⁵دیگر شب نخواهد بود و آنها به نور چراغ و آفتاب احتیاج نخواهند داشت، زیرا خداوند، خدا، نور ایشان خواهد بود و آن ها تا به ابد فرمانروایی خواهند کرد.

⁶He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”

⁶سپس آن فرشته به من گفت: «این سخنان راست و قابل اعتماد است. خداوند، خدا که به انبیاء روح نبوت را می بخشد، فرشتۀ خود را فرستاد تا به بندگانش آنچه را که بزودی واقع خواهد شد، نشان دهد.»

⁷ “Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁷عیسی می گوید: «بدانید، من بزودی می آیم، خوشا به حال کسی که به پیشگویی های این کتاب توجه کند.»

⁸Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

⁸من، یوحنا، این چیزها را دیدم و شنیدم، و همین که اینها را دیدم و شنیدم، در مقابل آن فرشته ای که این چیزها را به من نشان داده بود، به خاک افتادم تا سجده کنم.

⁹He said to me, “See you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

⁹اما او به من گفت: «نه، چنین نکن! من خادمی هستم مانند تو و برادرانت یعنی انبیاء و کسانی که به سخنان این کتاب توجه دارند. فقط خدا را پرستش کن.»

¹⁰He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

¹⁰سپس به من گفت: «پیشگویی های این کتاب را پنهان مکن، زیرا زمان وقوع آن نزدیک است.

¹¹He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”

¹¹پس بگذار شریر، به شرارت خود ادامه دهد و مفسد، همچنان به فساد بپردازد؛ شخص عادل، عدالت خود را ادامه دهد و هر که مقدس است، زندگی مقدس خود را.»

¹² “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

¹²«من به زودی می آیم و برای هرکس مطابق اعمالش اجری با خود خواهم آورد.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

¹³من الف و یا، اول و آخر، ابتدا و انتها هستم.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, NU reads “wash their robes” instead of “do his commandments”. that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

¹⁴خوشا به حال کسانی که لباسهای خود را پاک بشویند. آنها حق خوردن از درخت زندگی را خواهند داشت و به دروازه های شهر وارد خواهند شد،

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁵اما سگان و جادوگران و زناکاران و آدمکشان و بت پرستان و همۀ کسانی که در قول و فعل دروغگو هستند، در خارج از شهر می مانند.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.”

¹⁶من، عیسی، فرشتۀ خود را پیش شما که در کلیساها هستید، فرستادم تا این امور را به شما اعلام کند. من ریشه و نهال داود و ستارۀ درخشان صبح هستم.»

¹⁷The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

¹⁷روح و عروس می گویند: «بیا!» هر آنکه می شنود، بگوید: «بیا!» هر که تشنه است بیاید؛ و هر که اشتیاق دارد، آب زندگی را بپذیرد که این بخششی است رایگان.

¹⁸I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

¹⁸من به تمام کسانی که پیشگویی های این کتاب را می شنوند، اعلام می کنم که: «اگر کسی چیزی بر آن ها بیفزاید، خدا بلایایی را که در این کتاب آمده است، نصیب او خواهد کرد.

¹⁹If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

¹⁹و اگر کسی از این پیشگویی ها چیزی کم کند، خدا او را از درخت زندگی و شهر مقدس که در این کتاب آمده است بی بهره خواهد ساخت.»

²⁰He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

²⁰کسی که همۀ این چیزها را تصدیق می کند می گوید: «بلی، من به زودی می آیم!» آمین، بیا، ای عیسی، ای خداوند.فیض عیسی خداوند با همۀ شما باد، آمین.

²¹The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
