1Then again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a flying scroll.
1بار دیگر به بالا نگاه کردم و طوماری را دیدم که در حال پرواز بود.
2He said to me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.”
2فرشته از من پرسید: «چه می بینی؟» جواب دادم: «طومار پرنده ای را می بینم که نُه متر طول و چهار و نیم متر عرض دارد.»
3Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side; and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side.
3گفت: «در آن طومار لعنت هائی نوشته شده اند و آن ها را به سراسر جهان می برد. در یک طرف طومار نوشته شده است که اگر کسی دزدی کند، مجازات می شود و نوشتۀ سمت دیگر آن می گوید که هرگاه کسی قسم ناحق بخورد، سزا می بیند.
4I will cause it to go out,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones.”
4خداوند قادر مطلق می فرماید: این لعنت ها را به خانۀ کسانی که دزدی کنند و آنهائی که به نام من قسم ناحق بخورند، می فرستم تا در خانۀ شان داخل شوند و آن را با سنگ و چوب آن از بین ببرند.»
5Then the angel who talked with me came forward, and said to me, “Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that is appearing.”
5بعد فرشته ای که با من صحبت می کرد، پیش آمد و به من گفت: «به بالا نگاه کن و بگو که چه می بینی.»
6I said, “What is it?” He said, “This is the ephah An ephah is a measure of volume of about 22 litres, 5.8 U. S. gallons, or about 2/3 of a bushel. basket that is appearing.” He said moreover, “This is their appearance in all the land
6پرسیدم: «آن چیست؟» فرشته جواب داد: «آن یک تکری است که پُر از گناهان تمام این سرزمین می باشد.»
7(and behold, a talent A talent is a weight of about 34 kilograms or 75 pounds. of lead was lifted up); and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah basket.”
7آن تُکری سرپوشی از سُرب داشت. وقتی سرپوش برداشته شد، زنی را دیدم که در بین تکری نشسته بود.
8He said, “This is Wickedness”; and he threw her down into the midst of the ephah basket; and he threw the weight of lead on its mouth.
8فرشته گفت: «آن زن نمایندۀ فساد و شرارت است.» بعد فرشته زن را در بین تکری انداخت و سرپوش سربی را دوباره بالای آن گذاشت.
9Then lifted I up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there were two women, and the wind was in their wings. Now they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah basket between earth and the sky.
9باز به بالا نگاه کردم و دو زن دیگر را دیدم که بالهائی مانند بالهای لگ لگ داشتند. آن ها بسوی تکری پرواز کردند و آن را برداشته باخود بردند.
10Then I said to the angel who talked with me, “Where are these carrying the ephah basket?”
10از فرشته پرسیدم: «تکری را کجا می برند؟»جواب داد: «آن را به بابل می برند. در آنجا عبادتگاهی می سازند و بعد از آنکه ساختمان عبادتگاه تمام شد، تکری را در آن می گذارند.»
11He said to me, “To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be set there in her own place.”
11جواب داد: «آن را به بابل می برند. در آنجا عبادتگاهی می سازند و بعد از آنکه ساختمان عبادتگاه تمام شد، تکری را در آن می گذارند.»
