¹Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

¹باز به بالا نگاه کردم و چهار عراده را دیدم که از بین دو کوه مسی بیرون آمدند.

²In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot black horses;

²عرادۀ اولی بوسیلۀ اسپهای نصواری، دومی ذریعۀ اسپهای سیاه،

³in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot dappled horses, all of them powerful.

³سومی توسط اسپهای سفید و چهارمی بوسیلۀ اسپهای ابلق رانده می شد.

⁴Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”

⁴از فرشته ای که با من صحبت می کرد پرسیدم: «آقای من، اینها چیستند؟»

⁵The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

⁵فرشته جواب داد: «اینها چهار روح آسمانی هستند که از حضور خداوندِ تمام روی زمین آمده اند.»

⁶The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went forth toward the south country.”

⁶عرادۀ اسپهای سیاه بسوی شمال، از اسپهای سفید جانب غرب، از اسپهای ابلق به طرف جنوب و عرادۀ اسپهای نصواری بسوی شرق می روند.

⁷The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth: and he said, “Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.

⁷آن اسپهای قوی بی قرار بودند و می خواستند که هرچه زودتر بروند و در سراسر روی زمین گردش کنند. خداوند فرمود: «بروید و به گشت و گذار تان شروع کنید.» پس آن ها به راه افتادند و تمام روی زمین را گردش کردند.

⁸Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

⁸بعد خداوند خطاب به من کرده فرمود: «آن اسپهای که به طرف شمال رفتند، امر مرا اجراء کردند و روح مرا آرام ساختند.»

⁹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

⁹خداوند به من فرمود:

¹⁰“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.

¹⁰«حُلدَه، طوبیا و یَدَعیا از طرف یهودیان تبعید شده در بابل، هدایائی از طلا و نقره با خود آورده اند. آن هدایا را از آن ها بگیر و به خانۀ یوشیا ـ پسر سِفَنیا ـ برو و با آن ها یک تاج بساز. بعد آن تاج را بر سر یهوشع ـ پسر یَهُوصادق ـ کاهن اعظم بگذار.

¹¹Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

¹¹سپس به او بگو که خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: آن مردی که «شاخه» نام دارد، از جایگاه خود می روید و عبادتگاه خداوند را دوباره آباد می کند.

¹²and speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh of Armies, “Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build Yahweh’s temple;

¹²او همان کسی است که عبادتگاه خداوند را می سازد. او صاحب عزت و شکوه پادشاهی می شود، در مقام کاهنی بر تخت سلطنت می نشیند و بین این دو مقام با همآهنگی کامل و سلامتی حکمرانی می کند.

¹³even he shall build Yahweh’s temple; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on his throne; and he shall be a priest on his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

¹³بعد آن تاج از طرف حُلدَه، طوبیا، یدعیا و یوشیا بعنوان یادگار در عبادتگاه خداوند نگهداری شود.»مردمانی که در جاهای دور سکونت دارند، می آیند و در آبادی مجدد عبادتگاه خداوند کمک می کنند. آنگاه می دانید که خداوند قادر مطلق مرا پیش شما فرستاده است. ولی همۀ اینها وقتی اتفاق می افتد که شما از دل و جان امر خداوند، خدای تان را بجا آورید.

¹⁴The crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Yahweh’s temple.

¹⁴مردمانی که در جاهای دور سکونت دارند، می آیند و در آبادی مجدد عبادتگاه خداوند کمک می کنند. آنگاه می دانید که خداوند قادر مطلق مرا پیش شما فرستاده است. ولی همۀ اینها وقتی اتفاق می افتد که شما از دل و جان امر خداوند، خدای تان را بجا آورید.

¹⁵Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey the voice of Yahweh your God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” .”’”
