Kabyle: New Testament

1 Timothy

6

1Let as many as are bondservants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and the doctrine not be blasphemed.
1Wid yellan d aklan yumnen s Lmasiḥ ilaq ad ẓren belli imɛellmen-nsen uklalen leqdeṛ, iwakken ur ițwargam f+ ara yisem n Sidi Ṛebbi, ur kkaten ara medden deg wayen i nesselmad.
2Those who have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brothers, but rather let them serve them, because those who partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.
2Wid yesɛan imɛellmen i gețțamnen s Lmasiḥ ur ilaq ara ad kksen fell-asen leqdeṛ imi d atmaten-nsen i llan, lameɛna ad qedcen fell-asen seg ul imi d wid yumnen s Lmasiḥ, d wid eɛzizen ara yesfayden si leqdic-nsen. Atah wayen ara tweṣṣiḍ d wayen ara teslemdeḍ :
3If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,
3win ara yeslemden ayen ixulfen liman-nneɣ, ur neqbil ara awal imqeddes n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ,
4he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions,
4yeččuṛ d zzux ur yessin kra ; iḥemmel ad ikețțeṛ awal, yețnaɣ ɣef ddemma n yimeslayen. Seg wannect-agi i d-itekk umennuɣ, tismin, lekfeṛ d ccekk,
5constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such.
5imeslayen nsen ur țfakan ara axaṭer ččuṛen s yir ixemmimen teɛṛeq-asen tideț, ɣilen s ṭṭaɛa n Sidi Ṛebbi ara uɣalen d imeṛkantiyen.
6But godliness with contentment is great gain.
6?-țideț abrid n Sidi Ṛebbi yețțawi-d rrbeḥ ameqqran, meɛna ma yella nesteqniɛ s wayen nesɛa.
7For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out.
7Axaṭer ur d-newwi yid-nneɣ acemma ɣer ddunit, akken daɣen ur nezmir a nawi acemma yid-nneɣ m'ara nemmet.
8But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.
8Ihi ma yella nesɛa ayen ara nečč d wayen ara nels, ilaq a nesteqneɛ.
9But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.
9Ma d wid yettabaɛen cci n ddunit ɣellin deg ujeṛṛeb akk-d tfextin n yir ccehwat n tnefsit-nsen, i gețțawin imdanen ɣer txeṣṣart akk-d nnger.
10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
10Axaṭer ṭṭmeɛ n idrimen d sebba n kra n wayen yellan diri-t. Llan kra i gtebɛen cci-yagi n ddunit, ffɣen i webrid n Lmasiḥ, ḍuṛṛen tiṛwiḥin nsen, sseɣlin-d lhemm ɣef yiman nsen.
11But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
11Ma d kečč ay aqeddac n Sidi Ṛebbi ssebɛed iman-ik ɣef wannect agi meṛṛa, nadi ɣef lḥeqq d ṭṭaɛa, liman, lmaḥibba, ṣṣbeṛ d wannuz.
12Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
12Sseǧhed iman-ik deg umenɣi ɣef liman, eṭṭef di tudert n dayem i ɣer k-d-issawel Sidi Ṛebbi, asm'akken i d-cehdeḍ s wayen tumneḍ zdat yemdanen meṛṛa.
13I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,
13A k-weṣṣiɣ zdat Sidi Ṛebbi i d-yețțaken tudert, zdat Ɛisa Lmasiḥ i gcehden ɣef liman akken ilaq zdat Bunṭus Bilaṭus.
14that you keep the commandment without spot, blameless, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ;
14Tbeɛ lewṣayat-agi, iwakken aț-țeqqimeḍ d azedgan, ur a k-d-issukus yiwen kra alamma d ass n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ
15which in its own times he will show, who is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
15ara d-yuɣalen di lweqt i d-ihegga Sidi Ṛebbi awḥid Bab n tezmert, Agellid n igelliden d Ssid n ssyadi,
16who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.
16win yeddren i dayem, i gellan di tafat ur yezmir yiwen aț-țyaweḍ, ulac win i t-iwalan neɣ i gzemren a t-iwali. I nețța tamanegt ț-țezmert i dayem ! Amin.
17Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;
17Weṣṣi imeṛkantiyen n ddunit-agi iwakken ur ssemɣaṛen ara iman-nsen, ur țkalayen ara ɣef cci n ddunit ur nesɛi laman, meɛna ad țeklen ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi i ɣ-d-ițțaken lxiṛ s tugeț iwakken a nili di lfeṛḥ.
18that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
18Weṣṣi-ten ad xeddmen lxiṛ, ad ilin d imeṛkantiyen s lecɣal lɛali, ad țseddiqen mbla cceḥḥa, ad bḍun d wiyaḍ ayen sɛan.
19laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life.
19S wakka, ad jemɛen i yiman-nsen agerruj yelhan i wussan i d-iteddun iwakken ad sɛun tudert n tideț.
20Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of the knowledge which is falsely so called;
20A Timuti eɛzizen, eḥrez ayen i tlemdeḍ, ssebɛed iman-ik ɣef yimeslayen ur nesɛi lmeɛna, ɣef yimennuɣen yeɛnan tamusni n lekdeb.
21which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
21Wid i gtebɛen tamusni-agi, sṛuḥen liman-nni i sɛan di Lmasiḥ. Ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi aț-țili yid-wen !
