1Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you;
1?ef wayen nniḍen ay atmaten, dɛut Sidi Ṛebbi fell-aneɣ iwakken awal-is ad ițțubecceṛ, ad yaweḍ ɣer yal amkan, ad ițwaɛuzz am akken i t-tɛuzzem kunwi.
2and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
2Dɛut daɣen iwakken a ɣ-isellek si ger ifassen n yemcumen i ɣ-ibɣan cceṛ, axaṭer llan wid ur nețțamen ara.
3But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
3Lameɛna Sidi Ṛebbi d bab n lețkal, a kkun-isseǧhed, a kkun iḥader ɣef wemcum.
4We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
4Nesɛa laman ɣuṛ-es fell-awen belli txeddmem yerna aț-țkemlem aț-țxedmem ayen i ɣef i kkun-nweṣṣa.
5May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.
5Ndeɛɛu ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi iwakken ad iččaṛ ulawen-nwen s leḥmala-ines, iwakken aț-țesɛum ṣṣbeṛ n Lmasiḥ. f+
6Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us.
6Ay atmaten a kkun-nenhu s yisem n Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ : sbeɛdet iman-nwen ɣef atmaten imeɛdazen, ițɛicin akken bɣan, mačči am akken i wen-t-nesselmed.
7For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,
7Teẓram s yiman nwen amek i glaq a ɣ-tɛandem, axaṭer nukni ur nɛac ara deg ussexṛeb asmi nella yid-wen.
8neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you;
8Ur neḍmiɛ ula deg yiwen aɣṛum-nneɣ, lameɛna nețɛețțib iman-nneɣ di lxedma iḍ d wass, iwakken ur nețțili ț-țaɛekkumt ula i yiwen.
9not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
9Yerna lemmer nessuter-awen a ɣ-tɛiwnem, d lḥeqq fell-aɣ ; meɛna nexdem akkenni iwakken a wen-nili d lemtel.
10For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.”
10Asmi nella gar-awen nweṣṣa kkun belli « win ur nebɣi ara ad ixdem ur ilaq ara ad yečč. »
11For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.
11Axaṭer nesla belli llan gar-awen imeɛdazen ur nebɣi ara ad xedmen meɛna ggaren iman-nsen di lecɣal i ten-ixḍan.
12Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
12Imdanen-agi a ten-nweṣṣi s yisem n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ : ad xedmen akken ilaq iwakken a d-ḥeṛṛen aɣṛum nsen.
13But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing well.
13Ma d kunwi ay atmaten xedmet lxiṛ, ur ɛeggut ara !
14If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
14Win ur neqbil ara ayen i d-nenna di tebṛaț-agi, jebdet iman-nwen fell-as, ur țeddut ara yid-es iwakken ad inneḥcam, ad issetḥi.
15Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
15Ur t-ḥețțbet ara d aɛdaw, meɛna nhut-eț am yiwen seg watmaten-nwen.
16Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
16Nessutur di Sidi Ṛebbi bab n talwit a wen-d-yefk lehna kull ass, di yal tagniț ! Sidi Ṛebbi ad yili yid-wen meṛṛa !
17The greeting of me, Paul, with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter: this is how I write.
17Nekk Bulus, uriɣ-awen sslam-agi s ufus-iw, ț-țagi i ț-țira-inu di yal tabṛaț i wen-ceggɛeɣ.
18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
18Ṛṛeḥma n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ a d-ters fell-awen meṛṛa !
