1He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
1Sidna Ɛisa yenna i inelmaden is imeslayen-agi : -- D lmuḥal ur d-țilint ara sebbat ara yesseɣlin imdanen di ddnub. A nnger n win ara yilin d sebba n uɣelluy ;
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
2axiṛ a s-ɛelqen aɣaṛef n tsirt ɣer temgeṛṭ-is, a t-ḍeggṛen ɣer lebḥeṛ wala ad yesseɣli di ddnub yiwen seg imecṭuḥen-agi.
3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
3?adret ɣef yiman-nwen ! Ma yeḍlem gma-k ssefhem-it, ma yendem deg wayen ixdem semmeḥ as.
4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
4?as ma yeḍlem-ik sebɛa iberdan deg wass, ma yusa-d ɣuṛ-ek sebɛa tikkal a k-d-yini : « aql-i ndemmeɣ deg wayen xedmeɣ », ilaq a s tsemmḥeḍ.
5The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
5Ṛṛusul n Sidna Ɛisa nnan-as : A Sidi ssemɣeṛ liman-nneɣ !
6The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
6Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Lemmer tesɛam liman ulamma annect n uɛeqqa n yired, aț-țizmirem aț-ținim i ttejṛa-yagi n țut qleɛ sya tṛuḥeḍ aț-țeẓẓuḍ iman-im di lebḥeṛ, a wen-taɣ awal.
7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table,’
7Anwa deg-wen ara yesɛun axeddam ikerrzen neɣ ikessen lmal, ara s-yinin m'ara d-yuɣal si lexla : « lɛeslama-inek, qqim aț-țesteɛfuḍ, tura a k-d-awiɣ aț-țeččeḍ ».
8 and will not rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
8Mačči akka ara s-yini, meɛna a s-yini : « ɣiwel beddel lqecc-ik tawiḍ-iyi-d ad ččeɣ ad sweɣ, mi ččiɣ ṛwiɣ, imiren aț-țeččeḍ aț-țesweḍ ula d keččini. »
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
9Eɛni ad icekkeṛ axeddam-is imi gexdem ayen i s-yumeṛ ?
10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”
10Kunwi daɣen m'ara txedmem ayen i wen-d yețwamṛen, init : d iqeddacen kan i nella, nexdem ayen ilaqen a t-nexdem.
11It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
11Deg webrid-is ɣer temdint n Lquds, Sidna Ɛisa iɛedda ger tmurt n Samarya akk ț-țmurt n Jlili.
12As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
12Mi gekcem ɣer yiwet n taddart, mmugren t-id ɛecṛa imuḍan ihelken lbeṛs, bedden mebɛid
13They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
13ɛeggḍen nnan-as : A Sidna Ɛisa ! A Sidi ḥunn fell-aɣ !
14When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.
14Mi ten-iwala, Sidna Ɛisa yenna yasen : Ṛuḥet a kkun-walin lmuqedmin, a d-cehden belli teḥlam. Deg webrid-nsen mi ṛuḥen, akken walan iman-nsen ḥlan ṣfan,
15One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
15yiwen deg-sen yuɣal-ed seg webrid-nni yețḥemmid Ṛebbi s kra yellan di taɣect-is.
16He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
16Yusa-d yeɣli ɣer iḍaṛṛen n Sidna Ɛisa, iseǧǧed zdat-es, icekkeṛ-it, yerna argaz-agi d aṣamari i gella.
17Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
17Sidna Ɛisa yenna i lɣaci : Eɛni ur ḥlin ara di ɛecṛa yid-sen ? I țesɛa nniḍen anda llan ?
18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?”
18Anagar abeṛṛani-agi i d-yuɣalen ad yeḥmed Ṛebbi !
19Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”
19Dɣa yenna i usamari-nni : Kker fell-ak uɣal ɣer wexxam ik, imi tumneḍ yis-i, tețțusellkeḍ.
20Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The Kingdom of God doesn’t come with observation;
20Ifariziyen steqsan Sidna Ɛisa melmi ara d-tas lḥekma n tgeldit n Sidi Ṛebbi. Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Lḥekma n Sidi Ṛebbi mačči d ayen țwalint wallen.
21 neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
21Ur nezmir ara a d-nini : ațan dagi neɣ ațan dihin, axaṭer lḥekma n Sidi Ṛebbi ațan gar-wen.
22He said to the disciples, “The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
22Sidna Ɛisa yenna i inelmaden-is : A d-yas lweqt i deg ara tmennim aț-țeẓrem Mmi-s n bunadem ulamma d yiwen wass lameɛna ur kkun-id-ițṣaḥ ara.
23 They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away, nor follow after them,
23Imiren ma nnan-awen-d : atah dagi neɣ atan dihin ur țṛuḥut ara, ur țțazzalet ara,
24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
24axaṭer am lebṛaq m'ara yewwet seg yixef n igenni ɣer wayeḍ, akken ara yili Mmi-s n bunadem ass n tuɣalin-is.
25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
25Tazwara ilaq ad yeɛteb aṭas, yerna lǧil-agi ur t-iqebbel ara.
26 As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
26D ayen yedṛan di zzman n Nuḥ ara yedṛun deg ussan n tuɣalin n Mmi-s n bunadem.
27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
27Imdanen llan tețțen, țessen, țemyezwaǧen, zeggjen i dderya-nsen, armi d asmi yekcem Nuḥ ɣer lbabuṛ ; yewwet-ed uḥemmal, neflen-d waman ɣef ddunit, imdanen meṛṛa mmuten.
28 Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
28D ayen yedṛan di zzman n Luṭ ara yedṛun daɣen : imdanen tețțen tessen, țțaɣen znuzun, țeẓẓun, bennun ;
29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
29asmi d-yeffeɣ Luṭ si temdint n ?udum, teɣli-d seg igenni tmes d ukebri i ten-isnegren akk.
30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
30Akken ara d-tedṛu asm'ara d-iban Mmi-s n bunadem.
31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
31Ass-nni win ara yilin sufella n wexxam ur ilaq ara ad yekcem a d-iddem lqecc-is ; win i d-yufa lḥal di lexla ur ilaq ara ad yuɣal ɣer deffir ;
32 Remember Lot’s wife!
32mmektit-ed tameṭṭut n Luṭ.
33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
33Win ara yebɣun ad isellek tudert-is ad a s-tṛuḥ, win iwumi ara tṛuḥ ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw a ț-isellek.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
34Qqaṛeɣ-awen : deg iḍ-nni, ger sin ara yilin deg yiwen wusu, yiwen ad ițwarfed wayeḍ a d-yeqqim.
35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken, and the other will be left.”
35Ger snat n tilawin yeẓẓaden, yiwet aț-țețwarfed tayeḍ a d-teqqim.
36 Some Greek manuscripts add: “Two will be in the field: the one taken, and the other left.”
36Ger sin yergazen ara yilin di lexla, yiwen ad ițwarfed wayeḍ a d-yeqqim.
37They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together.”
37Inelmaden-is steqsan-t nnan-as : Anda ara yedṛu wayagi a Sidi ? Yenna-yasen : Anda yella umurḍus, dinna ara a d-nejmaɛen igudar.
