2to the beloved Apphia, to Archippus, our fellow soldier, and to the assembly in your house:
2i weltma-tneɣ Abya, i Arxibus aṛfiq-nneɣ di lecɣal n Lmasiḥ akk-d tejmaɛt i gețțilin deg wexxam-ik ;
3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3ṛṛeḥma ț-țalwit a wen-d-tețțunefkent s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi baba-tneɣ akk-d Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
4I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,
4Mkul m'ara dɛuɣ ɣer Ṛebbi țmektayeɣ-k-id, țḥemmideɣ Sidi Ṛebbi fell-ak ;
5hearing of your love, and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints;
5axaṭer sliɣ ɣef liman-ik meqṛen di Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ akk-d leḥmala i tesɛiḍ ɣer yemqedsen meṛṛa.
6that the fellowship of your faith may become effective, in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus.
6Ssutureɣ di Ṛebbi iwakken a d tesbeggneḍ liman-inek di Lmasiḥ s lecɣal yelhan, yerna aț-țɛeqleḍ ayen meṛṛa i ɣ-yelhan i nukni deg webrid n Lmasiḥ.
7For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
7Feṛḥeɣ, yethedden wul-iw ɣef ddemma n leḥmala-inek axaṭer yis-ek a gma theddnen wulawen n yemqedsen.
8Therefore though I have all boldness in Christ to command you that which is appropriate,
8?as Lmasiḥ iserreḥ-iyi iwakken ad ḍebbṛeɣ fell-ak ɣef wayen i glaq aț-țxedmeḍ,
9yet for love’s sake I rather beg, being such a one as Paul, the aged, but also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
9bɣiɣ axiṛ a k-ssutreɣ s leḥmala imi nekk Bulus yellan d amɣaṛ yerna tura d ameḥbus ɣef ddemma n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ,
10I beg you for my child, whom I have become the father of in my chains, Onesimus, Onesimus means “useful.”
10A k-ḥelleleɣ ɣef ddemma n gma-tneɣ Unizim, i guɣalen d mmi axaṭer wwiɣ-t-id ɣer webrid n Lmasiḥ dagi di lḥebs.
11who once was useless to you, but now is useful to you and to me.
11Zik ur k-yenfiɛ ara, meɛna tura infeɛ-aɣ di sin am kečč am nekk.
12I am sending him back. Therefore receive him, that is, my own heart,
12Nețța yeɛzizen ɣuṛ-i aṭas, atan a k-t-in-erreɣ ihi.
13whom I desired to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News.
13Acḥal bɣiɣ ad iqqim dagi ɣuṛ-i iwakken ad iyi-iqdec deg umkan-ik, m'akka țwaḥebseɣ ɣef ddemma n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ.
14But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but of free will.
14Meɛna ur bɣiɣ ara ad xedmeɣ ayagi mbla ṛṛay-ik, iwakken ayen ara yi-txedmeḍ n wayen yelhan ur t-txeddmeḍ ara s uḥettem, lameɛna a t-txedmeḍ s wul-ik d lebɣi-k.
15For perhaps he was therefore separated from you for a while, that you would have him forever,
15Anwi yeẓran ? Ahat yemfaṛaq yid-ek i kra n lweqt kan iwakken asm'ara temlilem ur tețțuɣalem ara aț-țemfaṛaqem,
16no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much rather to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
16imiren ur yețțili ara d akli meɛna axiṛ n wakli imi guɣal d yiwen seg watmaten eɛzizen, abeɛda ɣuṛ-i, ilaq ad yiɛziz fell-ak akteṛ imi tura mačči d aqeddac-ik kan i gella, meɛna d gma-tneɣ di Lmasiḥ.
17If then you count me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.
17Ma yella ț-țidet tḥesbeḍ-iyi d aḥbib-ik tḥemmleḍ-iyi, sṭerḥeb yis am akken ara tesṭerḥbeḍ yis-i.
18But if he has wronged you at all, or owes you anything, put that to my account.
18Ma yella iḍlem-ik neɣ tețțalaseḍ-as lḥaǧa, ḥaseb-iyi-d nekkini.
19I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it (not to mention to you that you owe to me even your own self besides).
19Uriɣ-ak-n ayagi s ufus-iw : « d nekk Bulus ara k-ixellṣen deg wayen i s-tețțalaseḍ » yerna mbla ma smektaɣ-k-id belli d nekk i k-id yewwin ɣer webrid n leslak.
20Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in the Lord.
20A gma, xdem-iyi lemziya-agi ɣef ddemma n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ akken ad yethedden wul-iw di Lmasiḥ.
21Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.
21Uriɣ-ak-n tabṛaț-agi imi țekleɣ ad iyi-taɣeḍ awal, yerna ẓriɣ aț-țxedmeḍ nnig wayen i k-n-ssutreɣ.
22Also, prepare a guest room for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
22Heggit-iyi taxxamt, axaṭer ssarameɣ ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi qṛib a-yi-n yerr ɣuṛ-wen akken i s- tessuturem kull-as di tẓallit-nwen.
23Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you,
23Gma-tneɣ Ibafras, yețțuḥebsen yid-i ɣef ddemma n Lmasiḥ yețsellim fell-ak aṭas.
24as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
