1 “To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: “He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lampstands says these things:
1Aru ayagi i lmelk n tejmaɛt n temdint n Ifasus : atah wayen i d-yeqqaṛ Win yeṭṭfen sebɛa yetran deg ufus-is ayeffus, Win yețțilin di tlemmast n sebɛa teftilin n ddheb :
2 “I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can’t tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.
2ssneɣ tikli-inek d lecɣal-ik, ẓriɣ leɛtab-ik d ṣṣbeṛ i tṣebṛeḍ ; ẓriɣ ur tezmireḍ ara aț-țawiḍ i yemcumen, tjeṛbeḍ wid ițțarran iman-nsen d ṛṛusul ur llin, tkecfeḍ-ten-id belli d ikeddaben i llan.
3 You have perseverance and have endured for my name’s sake, and have TR adds “have labored and” not grown weary.
3Tṣebṛeḍ, tɛetbeḍ ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw, ur tefcileḍ ara.
4 But I have this against you, that you left your first love.
4Lameɛna tella yiwet lḥaǧa i ɣef ara k-lumeɣ : leḥmala i tesɛiḍ ɣuṛ-i tura mačči am leḥmala n wussan imezwura.
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.
5Mmekti-d seg wansi i d-teɣliḍ, endem deg wayen txedmeḍ tuɣaleḍ ɣer lecɣal-ik imezwura, ma yella ur tendimeḍ ara, atan a n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-ek, ad kkseɣ taftilt-ik seg umkan-is.
6 But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
6Lameɛna atan wayen i yi-iɛeǧben deg-k : tkeṛheḍ lecɣal n inikulaten, akken i ten-keṛheɣ ula d nekk.
7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.
7Win yesɛan imeẓẓuɣen, ad ismeḥses i wayen i d-iqqaṛ Ṛṛuḥ n Ṛebbi i tejmuyaɛ n watmaten : win ara yeṭṭfen deg-i alamma ț-țaggara, a s-fkeɣ ad yečč si ttejṛa n tudert yellan di lǧennet.
8 “To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: “The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:
8Aru ayagi i lmelk n tejmaɛt n temdint n Smirnus : atah wayen i d-iqqaṛ Win yellan si tazwara alamma țaggara, Win yemmuten yuɣal-ed ɣer tudert :
9 “I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
9?riɣ lmeḥna akk-d leɣben i deg telliḍ, lameɛna ɣer Ṛebbi d ameṛkanti ; ẓriɣ cceṛ i heddṛen fell-ak wid iḥesben iman-nsen d agdud n Ṛebbi ur llin, lameɛna nutni si tejmaɛt n Cciṭan.
10 Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.
11Win yesɛan imeẓẓuɣen, ad ismeḥses i wayen i d-yeqqaṛ Ṛṛuḥ n Ṛebbi i tejmuyaɛ n watmaten : win ara yeṭṭfen deg-i alamma ț-țaggara, ur t-tețțawi ara lmut tis snat.
12 “To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: “He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things:
12Aru ayagi i lmelk n tejmaɛt n temdint n Birɣamus : atah wayen i d-yeqqaṛ Win yesɛan ajenwi iqeḍɛen di snat leǧwahi :
13 “I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
13?riɣ anda i tzedɣeḍ, dinna i gella wemkan n lḥekma n Cciṭan. Teṭṭfeḍ deg isem-iw, ur tenkiṛeḍ ara liman i tesɛiḍ deg-i ula deg ussan i deg nɣan Antibas, inigi-inu n ṣṣeḥ, dinna ɣuṛ-wen anida yeṭṭef Cciṭan amkan.
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
14Lameɛna atan wayen yellan deg-ek ur iyi-neɛǧib ara : llan ɣuṛ-ek kra yemdanen mazal-iten ṭṭfen deg uselmed n Belɛam : isselmad i ugellid Balak ayen ara yilin d sebba n tuccḍa n warraw n wat Isṛail, isselmad-asen ad ččen aksum yețțunefken d iseflawen i ssadaț yerna a ten-tawi ccehwat n tnefsit-nsen.
15 So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise TR reads “which I hate” instead of “likewise” .
15Llan daɣen ɣuṛ-ek kra yemdanen yeṭṭfen deg uselmed n inikulaten.
16 Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
16Endem ihi ! Neɣ m'ulac ur țɛeṭṭileɣ ara a n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-ek, a ten-ḥarbeɣ s ujenwi n yimi-w.
17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, Manna is supernatural food, named after the Hebrew for “What is it?”. See Exodus 11:7-9. and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.
17Win yesɛan imeẓẓuɣen, ad ismeḥses i wayen i d-iqqaṛ Ṛṛuḥ n Ṛebbi i tejmuyaɛ n watmaten ! Win yeṭṭfen deg-i alamma ț țaggara, a t-id-ṛezqeɣ s tmana-nni yețwaḥerzen, a s-fkeɣ daɣen ablaḍ acebḥan i ɣef yura isem ajdid ur yessin yiwen, anagar win iwumi ara d-yețțunefk ublaḍ-nni.
18 “To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: “The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things:
18Aru i lmelk n tejmaɛt n temdint n Tyatir : atah wayen i d-yeqqaṛ Mmi-s n Ṛebbi Win yesɛan allen iceɛɛlen am tmes, iḍaṛṛen-is țfeǧǧiǧen am nnḥas :
19 “I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
19?riɣ lecɣal-ik, leḥmala d liman i tesɛiḍ akk-d wayen i txeddmeḍ s wul yeṣfan d ṣṣbeṛ. ?riɣ daɣen tura txeddmeḍ akteṛ n wussan imezwura.
20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate your TR, NU read “that” instead of “your” woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
20Lameɛna tella yiwet lḥaǧa ur iyi-neɛǧib ara deg-k : teǧǧiḍ Yisabil yerran iman-is d nnbi aț-țkellex iqeddacen-iw s uselmed-ines, iwakken ad ččen aksum yețțunefken d iseflawen i ssadaț yerna a ten-awint ccehwat n tnefsit-nsen.
21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
21Eǧǧiɣ-as lweqt ɣileɣ aț-țendem, lameɛna ur tebɣi ara aț-țerr aḍar ɣef tecmatin i txeddem.
22 Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works.
22Usu-nni i ɣef txeddem ticmatin, dinna ara d-sseɣliɣ fell-as lehlak icemten nețțat d wid yeznan yid-es anagar ma yella beddlen tikli.
23 I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
23A d-ceggɛeɣ lmut i warraw-is ; s wakka tijmuyaɛ n watmaten meṛṛa ad setɛeṛfen belli ẓriɣ ayen yellan deg yixemmimen d wulawen n yemdanen, ad rreɣ i mkul yiwen ayen yuklal.
24 But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don’t have this teaching, who don’t know what some call ‘the deep things of Satan,’ to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.
24Ma d kunwi akk-d wid meṛṛa yellan si tejmaɛt n Tyatir ur neqbil ara aselmed-agi, yugin aț-țkecmem di lbaḍna lqayen yeɛni tin n Cciṭan, a wen-iniɣ : ur wen-sbabbayeɣ ara taɛkumt nniḍen ;
25 Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.
25d acu kan, ṭṭfet di liman i tesɛam alamma uɣaleɣ-ed.
26 He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
26Wid yeṭṭfen deg-i ur fcilen ara, wid ḥerzen yerna ḍuɛen lumuṛat-iw alamma ț-țaggara, a sen-fkeɣ lḥekma ɣef leǧnas.
27 He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots; Psalm 2:9 as I also have received of my Father:
27 A sen-fkeɣ lḥekma i yi-d ițțunefken s ɣuṛ Baba, ad ḥekmen fell-asen s uɛekkaz n wuzzal, a ten ṛzen am akken țṛuẓun ibuqalen n talaxt. A sen-fkeɣ tafat n yitri n ṣṣbeḥ.
28 and I will give him the morning star.
29Win yesɛan imeẓẓuɣen, ad ismeḥses i wayen i d-yeqqaṛ Ṛṛuḥ n Ṛebbi i tejmuyaɛ n watmaten.
29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
