2 Corinthians

3

1Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you?
1¿Ma yôquin ta bi' chixnimobresinquil cuib nak nequec'oxla lâex nak ninye nak lâin aj c'anjel chiru li Dios? ¿Ma tento ta bi' nak cuânk li kahu jo' neque'xbânu li jun ch'ôl chic re xyebal resil aniheb re nak têpâb li c'a'ru neque'xye? ¿Ma naru ta bi' takapatz' li kahu êre lâex?
2You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
2Lâex chanchanex li kahu tz'îbanbil sa' li kach'ôl ut chixjunileb naru te'ril. Nak te'ril lê châbilal te'xq'ue retal nak châbil li kac'anjel.
3being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
3Lê yu'am lâex chanchan jun li hu tz'îbanbil xban li Cristo. Ut lâo xkach'olob lix yâlal chêru. Li hu a'in moco tz'îbanbil ta chiru pec chi moco tz'îbanbil ta riq'uin tinta. Tz'îbanbil ban sa' lê râm xban lix Musik' li yo'yôquil Dios.
4Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
4Naru nakaye a'in xban nak cau kach'ôl riq'uin li Dios sa' xc'aba' li Jesucristo.
5not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
5Mâ jun c'anjel naru nakayo'ob kajunes, chi moco naru nakac'oxla xbânunquil. Li Dios ban naxq'ue kacuanquil chixbânunquil li c'a'ru nakabânu.
6who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
6Li Dios naxq'ue kacuanquilal chixch'olobanquil lix yâlal li ac' contrato, li natauman cui' li ac' yu'am. Li ac' yu'am inc'a' natauman riq'uin xbânunquil li c'a'ru tz'îbanbil sa' li chak'rab xban nak li chak'rab naxteneb li câmc sa' kabên. Li ac' yu'am q'uebil ke xban li Santil Musik'ej.
7But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
7Li chak'rab li quiq'uehe' re laj Moisés tz'îbanbil chiru pec ut quic'utun xlok'al li Dios nak quixq'ue li chak'rab a'in. Quilemtz'un li rilobâl laj Moisés ut eb laj Israel inc'a' que'xcuy rilbal usta junpât ajcui' quicuan sa' li rilobâl laj Moisés lix lok'al li Dios. Li najter chak'rab a'in li quic'amoc chak re li câmc sa' kabên quic'ulun riq'uin xlok'al li Dios.
8won’t service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
8Abanan k'axal numtajenak cui'chic xlok'al li c'anjel li naxbânu kiq'uin li Santil Musik'ej.
9For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
9Cui cuan xlok'al li najter chak'rab li quic'amoc chak li tojba mâc sa' kabên, k'axal cui'chic numtajenak xlok'al li ac' yu'am li naxq'ue ke li Santil Musik'ej li naq'uehoc xtîquilal li kach'ôl chiru li Dios.
10For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
10Li chak'rab cuan xlok'al junxil. Abanan inc'a' naxtau xlok'al li ac' yu'am xban nak numtajenak cui'chic xlok'al.
11For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
11Cui cuan xlok'al li najter chak'rab li quinume' xcuanquil, k'axal cui'chic nim xlok'al li ac' yu'am li cuan chi junelic.
12Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
12Xban nak nakanau nak lix lok'al li ac' yu'am mâc'a' roso'jic, jo'can nak k'axal cau kach'ôl chixch'olobanquil lix yâlal ut mâc'a' nakamuk chêru.
13and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn’t look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
13Inc'a' nakabânu jo' quixbânu laj Moisés najter nak quixtz'ap li rilobâl riq'uin t'icr re nak eb laj Israel inc'a' te'ril nak yô chi êlc lix lok'al.
14But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
14Xban xcacuilal xch'ôleb inc'a' que'xtau ru nak lix lok'al li najter chak'rab tâêlk. Ut chalen anakcuan inc'a' ajcui' neque'xtau ru. Chanchan nak li t'icr a'an toj yô chi ramoc chiruheb lix yâlal nak neque'rabi li najter chak'rab. Ut li t'icr a'an na-el ca'aj cui' riq'uin xpâbanquil li Cristo.
15But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
15Chalen anakcuan nak neque'rabi lix chak'rab laj Moisés, chanchan nak junak t'icr naramoc re lix yâlal chiruheb ut inc'a' neque'xtau ru.
16But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
16Abanan li t'icr a'an na-el nak junak tixpâb li Kâcua' Jesucristo.
17Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
17Ut li Kâcua', a'an ajcui' li Santil Musik'ej. Li ani cuan li Santil Musik'ej riq'uin, a'an moco cuan ta chic rubel xcuanquil li chak'rab chi moco li mâc. Libre ban chic cuan.Lâo aj pâbanel moco tz'aptz'o ta li kilobâl riq'uin t'icr re xtz'apbal xlok'al li Dios jo' quixbânu laj Moisés. Chanchano ban jun lem nak nakac'ut xlok'al li Kâcua'. Ut li Kâcua' a'an ajcui' li Santil Musik'ej li nocoxjalanobresi ut naxq'ue kalok'al re nak yôko xc'utbal xlok'al li Cristo.
18But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
18Lâo aj pâbanel moco tz'aptz'o ta li kilobâl riq'uin t'icr re xtz'apbal xlok'al li Dios jo' quixbânu laj Moisés. Chanchano ban jun lem nak nakac'ut xlok'al li Kâcua'. Ut li Kâcua' a'an ajcui' li Santil Musik'ej li nocoxjalanobresi ut naxq'ue kalok'al re nak yôko xc'utbal xlok'al li Cristo.
