Job

13

1“Behold, my eye has seen all this. My ear has heard and understood it.
1Chixjunil li cßaßru yôquex chixyebal ac ninnau. Cuilom riqßuin xnakß cuu ut ac cuabiom.
2What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you.
2Li cßaßru nequenau lâex, ninnau ajcuiß lâin. Moco lâex ta kßaxal cuan ênaßleb chicuu lâin.
3“Surely I would speak to the Almighty. I desire to reason with God.
3Abanan lâin nacuaj xyîbanquil ru aßin riqßuin li nimajcual Dios. Lâin nacuaj xcßûbanquil ru riqßuin li Kâcuaß.
4But you are forgers of lies. You are all physicians of no value.
4Xban nak lâex nequejal ru lix yâlal, ticßtiß nequeye. Mâ ani naru nequetenkßa. Chanchanex laj banonel incßaß naru chi banoc.
5Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise.
5Us raj nak chi tîc incßaß tex-âtinak re nak incßaß têcßut nak mâcßaß ênaßleb.
6Hear now my reasoning. Listen to the pleadings of my lips.
6Bânuhomak usilal. Cherabihak li cßaßru oc cue chixyebal. Cheqßuehak retal li âtin li tinye re xcolbal cuib.
7Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?
7¿Ma yôquex ta biß xcolbal rix li Dios riqßuin li ticßtiß nequeye? ¿Ma usilal ta biß yôquex chixbânunquil re nak yôquex chi balakßic?
8Will you show partiality to him? Will you contend for God?
8Mâre yôquex chixcßoxlanquil nak yôquex chi oquênc chirix li Dios. Ut, ¿ma yôquex chixcolbal rix nak nequecßoxla?
9Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him?
9¿Cßaß raj ru têcßul nak li Dios tixtzßil rix chanru lê naßleb? ¿Ma naru ta biß xbalakßinquil aßan joß nak nequebalakßi junak cuînk?
10He will surely reprove you if you secretly show partiality.
10Li Dios texkßus chi cau cui têsicß ru li ani têtenkßa yal xban nak cuan li cßaßru nequeroybeni.
11Shall not his majesty make you afraid, And his dread fall on you?
11Cßajoß nak texxucuak nak têqßue retal lix lokßal.
12Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, Your defenses are defenses of clay.
12Chixjunil li najter naßleb li yôquex chixyebal mâcßaß na-oc cuiß. Chanchan li poks. Chanchan nak têpacß li chßochß ut têcol êrib chiru.
13“Be silent, leave me alone, that I may speak. Let come on me what will.
13Canabomak âtinac. Lâin oc cue chi âtinac anakcuan. Chichâlk li cßaßru tâchâlk saß inbên. Lâin incßaß tinxucuak.
14Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
14Cui cßaßru nincßul, chincßulak. Abanan lâin oc cue chixyebal li cßaßru nacuaj.
15Behold, he will kill me. I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.
15Usta tinixcamsi, abanan cauhak inchßôl riqßuin. Tinâtinak riqßuin re xcolbal cuib.
16This also shall be my salvation, that a godless man shall not come before him.
16Mâre xban nak tinâtinak riqßuin tincolekß. ¿Ma târûk ta biß tââtinak riqßuin li Dios junak li incßaß us xnaßleb? ¿Ma incßaß ta biß tâxucuak?
17Hear diligently my speech. Let my declaration be in your ears.
17Cherabihak chi us li oc cue chixyebal re tincol cuib. Cheqßuehak retal li cßaßru tinye.
18See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.
18Cau inchßôl chi âtinac re tincol cuib xban nak ninnau nak mâcßaß inmâc.
19Who is he who will contend with me? For then would I hold my peace and give up the spirit.
19¿Ma cuan ta biß junak târûk tâjitok cue? Cui cuan, mâcßaß chic tinye ut tincâmk.
20“Only don’t do two things to me; then I will not hide myself from your face:
20At inDios, cui lâat tâsume li cuib chi usilal li tintzßâma âcue, lâin incßaß tinmuk cuib châcuu.
21withdraw your hand far from me; and don’t let your terror make me afraid.
21Canab xbânunquil raylal cue ut minâqßue chic chi xucuac.
22Then call, and I will answer; or let me speak, and you answer me.
22Tinâcuâtina, at Kâcuaß, ut lâin tatinsume. Malaj lâin xbên cua tinâtinak ut lâat tinâsume.
23How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me know my disobedience and my sin.
23Ye cue cßaßru li mâc xinbânu châcuu. ¿Bar cuan li mâusilal xinbânu? Cßut chicuu cßaßru inmâc.
24Why hide you your face, and hold me for your enemy?
24¿Cßaßut nak incßaß chic nacacuaj cuu? ¿Cßaßut nak niquinâcuil joß jun xicß na-iloc âcue?
25Will you harass a driven leaf? Will you pursue the dry stubble?
25¿Cßaßut nak nacabânu raylal cue? Lâin chanchanin jun li xak cheß nacßameß xban ikß. ¿Cßaßut nak nacacuaj xsachbal cuu? Lâin chanchanin li chaki qßuim li mâcßaß na-oc cuiß.
26For you write bitter things against me, and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth:
26¿Cßaßut nak nacaqßue raylal saß inbên ut nacaye nak cuan inmâc? Ut toj yôcat chixqßuebal saß inbên li mâc quinbânu chak saß insâjilal.
27You also put my feet in the stocks, and mark all my paths. You set a bound to the soles of my feet,
27Chanchan nak bacßbôqueb li cuok riqßuin cadena. Mâcßaß naru ninbânu xban nak rajlal yôcat chixqßuebal retal cßaßru ninbânu.Yôquin chi osocß. Chanchanin jun li cßaßru yô chi kßâc. Chanchanin li tßicr li yô chi cßuxecß xban lix xulel.
28though I am decaying like a rotten thing, like a garment that is moth-eaten.
28Yôquin chi osocß. Chanchanin jun li cßaßru yô chi kßâc. Chanchanin li tßicr li yô chi cßuxecß xban lix xulel.
