¹Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

¹ឥឡូវនេះ សូមរិះគិតអំពីបញ្ហាសាច់ដែលគេបានសែនព្រះក្លែងក្លាយ រួចហើយ។ យើងដឹងហើយថា យើងសុទ្ធតែចេះដឹងទាំងអស់គ្នា។ ការចេះដឹង រមែងនាំអោយអួតបំប៉ោង រីឯសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់រមែងតែងតែជួយកសាង។

²But if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he doesn’t yet know as he ought to know.

²ប្រសិនបើមានអ្នកណាម្នាក់នឹកស្មានថា ខ្លួនចេះដឹងហើយ បានសេចក្ដីថា អ្នកនោះនៅមិនទាន់ចេះដឹងដូចដែលខ្លួនត្រូវចេះដឹងនោះឡើយ។

³But if anyone loves God, the same is known by him.

³ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ អ្នកណាស្រឡាញ់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ព្រះអង្គក៏ស្គាល់អ្នកនោះដែរ។

⁴Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

⁴ដូច្នេះ ចំពោះបញ្ហាបរិភោគសាច់ដែលគេបានសែនព្រះក្លែងក្លាយ យើងដឹងហើយថាក្នុងលោកនេះក្រៅពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់មួយព្រះអង្គ គ្មានព្រះឯណាទៀតសោះឡើយ។

⁵For though there are things that are called “gods,” whether in the heavens or on earth; as there are many “gods” and many “lords”;

⁵ទោះបីមានអ្វីៗ ដែលមនុស្សលោកចាត់ទុកជាព្រះនៅលើមេឃ ឬ នៅលើផែនដីក៏ដោយ (ដ្បិតគេជឿថាព្រះក៏មានច្រើនម្ចាស់ក៏មានច្រើន)

⁶yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

⁶ក៏យើងជឿថា មានព្រះជាម្ចាស់តែមួយព្រះអង្គប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ព្រះអង្គជាព្រះបិតាដែលបានបង្កើតអ្វីៗសព្វសារពើមក ហើយយើងមានជីវិតរស់សំរាប់ព្រះអង្គ។ យើងជឿទៀតថា មានព្រះអម្ចាស់តែមួយព្រះអង្គប៉ុណ្ណោះ គឺព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ ។ អ្វីៗសព្វសារពើកើតមកដោយសារព្រះអង្គ ហើយយើងមានជីវិតរស់ក៏ដោយសារព្រះអង្គដែរ។

⁷However, that knowledge isn’t in all men. But some, with consciousness of the idol until now, eat as of a thing sacrificed to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.

⁷ប៉ុន្ដែ មិនមែនគ្រប់គ្នាទេ ដែលដឹងសេចក្ដីនេះ។ អ្នកខ្លះនៅតែជំពាក់ចិត្ដនឹងព្រះក្លែងក្លាយនៅឡើយ គេបរិភោគសាច់ទាំងនោះទុកដូចជាសំណែន ហើយដោយគេរិះគិតមិនបានដិតដល់ ក៏នឹកស្មានថា ខ្លួនត្រូវសៅហ្មង។

⁸But food will not commend us to God. For neither, if we don’t eat, are we the worse; nor, if we eat, are we the better.

⁸តាមពិត មិនមែនចំណីអាហារទេ ដែលធ្វើអោយយើងបានខិតចូលជិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់។ បើយើងមិនបានបរិភោគយើងក៏មិនខាតអ្វី ហើយបើយើងបរិភោគក៏មិនចំណេញអ្វីដែរ។

⁹But be careful that by no means does this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to the weak.

⁹ហេតុនេះសូមបងប្អូនប្រុងប្រយ័ត្នខ្លួន កុំអោយសិទ្ធិសេរីភាពរបស់បងប្អូននាំអោយអ្នកដែលមានជំនឿទន់ខ្សោយធ្លាក់ក្នុងអំពើបាបនោះឡើយ។

¹⁰For if a man sees you who have knowledge sitting in an idol’s temple, won’t his conscience, if he is weak, be emboldened to eat things sacrificed to idols?

¹⁰បងប្អូនជាអ្នកចេះដឹងអើយ ប្រសិនបើនរណាម្នាក់ដែលមានមនសិការទន់ខ្សោយ ឃើញបងប្អូនអង្គុយបរិភោគក្នុងវិហាររបស់ព្រះក្លែងក្លាយ នោះគេមុខជាយល់ឃើញថា ខ្លួនអាចបរិភោគសាច់ដែលបានសែនព្រះក្លែងក្លាយជាមិនខាន។

¹¹And through your knowledge, he who is weak perishes, the brother for whose sake Christ died.

¹¹ព្រះគ្រិស្ដបានសោយទិវង្គត ដើម្បីសង្គ្រោះអ្នកទន់ខ្សោយនោះ ប៉ុន្ដែ ការចេះដឹងរបស់បងប្អូន បែរជានាំគេអោយវិនាសអន្ដរាយទៅវិញ!

¹²Thus, sinning against the brothers, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.

¹²ដោយបងប្អូនប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាបបែបនេះចំពោះបងប្អូនឯទៀតៗ និង ធ្វើអោយមនសិការរបស់គេកាន់តែអាប់ឱនថែមទៀត នោះបងប្អូនក៏ដូចជាបានប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាបចំពោះព្រះគ្រិស្ដផ្ទាល់ដែរ។

¹³Therefore if food causes my brother to stumble, I will eat no meat forevermore, that I don’t cause my brother to stumble.

¹³ហេតុនេះ ប្រសិនបើចំណីអាហារណាមួយធ្វើអោយបងប្អូនរបស់ខ្ញុំធ្លាក់ក្នុងអំពើបាប ខ្ញុំនឹងមិនបរិភោគសាច់ទៀតជាដាច់ខាតដើម្បីកុំអោយបងប្អូនខ្ញុំរវាតចិត្ដបាត់ជំនឿ។
