¹I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:

¹ជាបឋម ខ្ញុំសូមផ្ដែផ្ដាំអោយគេទូលសូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់អធិស្ធាន និង អង្វរព្រះអង្គទាំងអរព្រះគុណ សំរាប់មនុស្សទាំងអស់ផង។

²for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

²ត្រូវទូលអង្វរសំរាប់ស្ដេច និង អ្នកកាន់អំណាចគ្រប់ៗរូប ដើម្បីអោយយើងរស់នៅបានសុខក្សេមក្សាន្ដ គ្មានចលាចល ទាំងគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះជាម្ចាស់អស់ពីចិត្ដ និង មានជីវិតថ្លៃថ្នូរ។

³For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

³នេះហើយជាការល្អ និង គាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ជាព្រះសង្គ្រោះរបស់យើង

⁴who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

⁴ដែលទ្រង់សព្វព្រះហឫទ័យអោយមនុស្សទាំងអស់ បានទទួលការសង្គ្រោះ និង បានស្គាល់សេចក្ដីពិតយ៉ាងច្បាស់

⁵For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

⁵ដ្បិតមានព្រះជាម្ចាស់តែមួយ មានស្ពានមេត្រីតែមួយរវាងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង មនុស្សលោក គឺព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូដែលជាមនុស្ស។

⁶who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;

⁶ព្រះអង្គបានបូជាព្រះជន្ម ដើម្បីលោះមនុស្សទាំងអស់។ នេះជាសក្ខីភាពមួយ ដែលព្រះអង្គបានបង្ហាញនៅពេលកំណត់។

⁷to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

⁷ព្រះអង្គបានតែងតាំងខ្ញុំអោយប្រកាសសក្ខីភាពនេះ អោយខ្ញុំធ្វើជាសាវ័ក និង ធ្វើជាគ្រូអប់រំសាសន៍ដទៃអំពីជំនឿ និង អំពីសេចក្ដីពិត។ ខ្ញុំនិយាយពិត ឥតកុហកទេ។

⁸I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.

⁸ហេតុនេះហើយបានជានៅគ្រប់ទីកន្លែង ខ្ញុំចង់អោយបុរសៗអធិស្ឋាន ទាំងលើកដៃឡើងលើដោយចិត្ដបរិសុទ្ធ ឥតមានកំហឹង ឬ ប្រកែកគ្នាឡើយ។

⁹In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;

⁹ខ្ញុំក៏ចង់អោយស្រ្តីៗស្លៀកពាក់បែបសមរម្យ រាបសាមិនសង្ហារ។ នាងមិនត្រូវតែងខ្លួន ដោយក្រងសក់អោយឆើតឆាយហួស ឬ ដោយពាក់មាសពេជ្រ និង គ្រឿងអលង្ការថ្លៃៗឡើយ

¹⁰but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.

¹⁰តែត្រូវតុបតែងខ្លួន ដោយប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អ អោយបានសមរម្យជាស្ដ្រីដែលគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះជាម្ចាស់វិញ។

¹¹Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.

¹¹ពេលរៀនព្រះគម្ពីរស្ដ្រីៗត្រូវនៅស្ងៀម ហើយស្ដាប់បង្គាប់ទាំងស្រុង។

¹²But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.

¹²ខ្ញុំមិនអនុញ្ញាតអោយស្ដ្រីណាបង្រៀនឬត្រួតត្រាលើប្ដីឡើយ គឺអោយនាងនៅស្ងៀមវិញ

¹³For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

¹³ដ្បិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបង្កើតលោកអដំាជាមុន រួចបង្កើតនាងអេវ៉ាតាមក្រោយ។

¹⁴Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;

¹⁴មិនមែនលោកអដំាទេដែលចាញ់បោក គឺនាងអេវ៉ាវិញទេតើ ដែលចាញ់បោកទាំងរំលោភលើបញ្ញត្ដិរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទៀតផង។

¹⁵but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.

¹⁵ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះអង្គសង្គ្រោះស្ដ្រី មកពីនាងបង្កើតកូនហើយលុះត្រាតែនាងមានជំនឿខ្ជាប់ខ្ជួន មានចិត្ដស្រឡាញ់ មានកិរិយាវិសុទ្ធ និង សុភាពរាបសាផង។
