¹This is a faithful saying: if a man seeks the office of an overseer or, superintendents, or bishops , he desires a good work.

¹ពាក្យនេះគួរអោយជឿ គឺថា ប្រសិនបើបងប្អូនណាម្នាក់ ចង់បានមុខងារជាអភិបាលគាត់មានបំណងបំពេញមុខងារដ៏ប្រសើរហើយ។

²The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, modest, hospitable, good at teaching;

²អ្នកអភិបាលត្រូវមានគុណសម្បត្ដិល្អឥតខ្ចោះ ត្រូវមានភរិយាតែមួយប៉ុណ្ណោះ មិនស្រវឹងស្រា មានចិត្ដធ្ងន់មានកិរិយាមារយាទល្អ ចេះទទួលភ្ញៀវ ចេះបង្រៀន

³not a drinker, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous;

³មិនចំណូលស្រា មិនចេះឈ្លោះប្រកែក គឺមានចិត្ដសប្បុរស មិនចេះរករឿងមិនស្រឡាញ់ប្រាក់ឡើយ។

⁴one who rules his own house well, having children in subjection with all reverence;

⁴គាត់ត្រូវចេះមើលខុស្រតូវលើក្រុមគ្រួសាររបស់គាត់ផ្ទាល់ ព្រមទាំងអោយកូនចៅរបស់គាត់ចេះស្ដាប់បង្គាប់ និង មានកិរិយាថ្លៃថ្នូរទាំងស្រុង

⁵(but if a man doesn’t know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of God?)

⁵ព្រោះថា ប្រសិនបើមនុស្សម្នាក់មិនចេះមើលខុសត្រូវលើក្រុមគ្រួសាររបស់ខ្លួនផង ធ្វើម្ដេចនឹងអោយគាត់មើលខុសត្រូវលើក្រុមជំនុំ របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់កើត!។

⁶not a new convert, lest being puffed up he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.

⁶មិនត្រូវអោយអ្នកដែលទើបនឹងជឿធ្វើជាអភិបាលឡើយ ក្រែងលោគាត់អួតបំប៉ោង ហើយទៅជាមានទោសដូចមារ ។

⁷Moreover he must have good testimony from those who are outside, to avoid falling into reproach and the snare of the devil.

⁷មួយវិញទៀត អ្នកអភិបាលត្រូវតែមានកេរ្ដិ៍ឈ្មោះល្អពីសំណាក់អស់អ្នក ដែលមិនមែនជាគ្រិស្ដបរិស័ទផងដែរក្រែងគេប្រមាថមើលងាយ ហើយធ្លាក់ទៅក្នុងអន្ទាក់របស់មារ។

⁸ Servants or, Deacons. , in the same way, must be reverent, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for money;

⁸រីឯអ្នកជំនួយ វិញ ក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ ត្រូវតែមានកិរិយាថ្លៃថ្នូរ និយាយពាក្យសច្ចៈមិនចំណូលស្រាជ្រុល មិនរកប្រាក់តាមរបៀបថោកទាប។

⁹holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

⁹គាត់ត្រូវកាន់តាមជំនឿ ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានសំដែងអោយស្គាល់ ដោយមនសិការបរិសុទ្ធ។

¹⁰Let them also first be tested; then let them serve or, serve as deacons if they are blameless.

¹⁰ត្រូវល្បងមើលចិត្ដគេជាមុនសិន ប្រសិនបើមិនឃើញមានទាស់ត្រង់ណាទេនោះ ទុកអោយគេបំពេញមុខងារជាអ្នកជំនួយទៅចុះ។

¹¹Their wives in the same way must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

¹¹ចំពោះស្ដ្រីៗវិញក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ ត្រូវតែមានកិរិយាថ្លៃថ្នូរ មិនចេះនិយាយដើមគេ មិនស្រវឹងស្រា និង មានចិត្ដស្មោះត្រង់ក្នុងគ្រប់កិច្ចការទាំងអស់។

¹²Let servants or, deacons be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

¹²អ្នកជំនួយត្រូវមានភរិយាតែមួយប៉ុណ្ណោះ ហើយចេះមើលខុសត្រូវកូនចៅ និង ក្រុមគ្រួសាររបស់ខ្លួនឯងផ្ទាល់ផង

¹³For those who have served well or, served well as deacons gain for themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

¹³ដ្បិតបងប្អូនណាបំពេញមុខងារជាអ្នកជំនួយបានល្អ នឹងបានទទួលកិត្ដិយស ព្រមទាំងមានចិត្ដអង់អាចមុះមុត ដោយអាងលើជំនឿក្នុងអង្គព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូ។

¹⁴These things I write to you, hoping to come to you shortly;

¹⁴ខ្ញុំសរសេរសំបុត្រនេះ ទាំងសង្ឃឹមថានឹងបានមកជួបអ្នកក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ

¹⁵but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in God’s house, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

¹⁵ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ បើខ្ញុំក្រមកដល់សំបុត្រនេះនឹងជួយអ្នកអោយដឹងថា ត្រូវប្រព្រឹត្ដយ៉ាងណាៗ ក្នុងព្រះដំណាក់របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ គឺក្នុងក្រុមជំនុំ របស់ព្រះដ៏មានព្រះជន្មរស់។ ក្រុមជំនុំនេះជាសសរ និង ជាគ្រឹះទ្រទ្រង់សេចក្ដីពិត។

¹⁶Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.

¹⁶យើងត្រូវទទួលស្គាល់ថា គំរោងការដ៏លាក់កំបាំងនៃការគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នោះធំណាស់គឺថាៈ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបង្ហាញអោយយើង ស្គាល់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដក្នុងឋានៈជាមនុស្ស ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រោសព្រះអង្គអោយសុចរិតដោយព្រះវិញ្ញាណ ពួកទេវតាបានឃើញព្រះអង្គគេប្រកាសអំពីព្រះអង្គ នៅក្នុងចំណោមជាតិសាសន៍នានាគេបានជឿលើព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានលើកព្រះអង្គឡើងអោយមានសិរីរុងរឿង។
