¹ “These things have I spoken to you, so that you wouldn’t be caused to stumble.

¹ខ្ញុំនិយាយសេចក្ដីទាំងនេះ ប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា ដើម្បីកុំអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នារវាតចិត្ដងាកចេញពីជំនឿ។

² They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time comes that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God.

²គេនឹងបណ្ដេញអ្នករាល់គ្នាចេញពីសាលាប្រជុំ ហើយនៅថ្ងៃក្រោយ អស់អ្នកដែលសម្លាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹកស្មានថាខ្លួនគោរពបំរើព្រះជាម្ចាស់។

³ They will do these things TR adds “to you” because they have not known the Father, nor me.

³គេធ្វើដូច្នេះ មកពីគេមិនបានស្គាល់ព្រះបិតា ហើយក៏មិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំផង។

⁴ But I have told you these things, so that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you about them. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.

⁴ខ្ញុំនិយាយសេចក្ដីនេះប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា លុះដល់ពេលកំណត់ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងនឹកឃើញថា ខ្ញុំបានប្រាប់អ្នករាល់ គ្នារួចស្រេចហើយ។ កាលពីមុន ខ្ញុំមិនបាននិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាទេ ពីព្រោះកាលណោះខ្ញុំនៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់ គ្នានៅឡើយ»។

⁵ But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’

⁵«ឥឡូវនេះ ខ្ញុំទៅឯព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក ហើយក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា គ្មាននរណាសួរខ្ញុំថា"តើលោកអញ្ជើញទៅណា"ឡើយ។

⁶ But because I have told you these things, sorrow has filled your heart.

⁶ពេលឮខ្ញុំនិយាយដូច្នេះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាព្រួយចិត្ដខ្លាំងណាស់។

⁷ Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

⁷ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំសូមប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាតាមត្រង់ថា បើខ្ញុំទៅ ទើបមានប្រយោជន៍ដល់អ្នករាល់គ្នា។ បើខ្ញុំមិនទៅទេព្រះដ៏ជួយការពារមិនយាងមករកអ្នករាល់គ្នាឡើយ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បើខ្ញុំទៅ ខ្ញុំនឹងចាត់ព្រះអង្គអោយមករកអ្នករាល់គ្នា។

⁸ When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment;

⁸កាលណាព្រះអង្គយាងមកដល់ ព្រះអង្គនឹងបញ្ជាក់អោយមនុស្សលោកដឹងថា គេយល់ខុសអំពីបាប អំពីសេចក្ដីសុចរិត និង អំពីការកាត់ទោស។

⁹ about sin, because they don’t believe in me;

⁹គេយល់ខុសអំពីបាប ព្រោះគេមិនជឿលើខ្ញុំ

¹⁰ about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more;

¹⁰អំពីសេចក្ដីសុចរិតព្រោះខ្ញុំទៅឯព្រះបិតា ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងមិនឃើញខ្ញុំទៀតទេ

¹¹ about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.

¹¹អំពីការកាត់ទោស ព្រោះចៅហ្វាយរបស់មនុស្សលោកនេះបានទទួលទោសរួចហើយ។

¹² “I have yet many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.

¹²ខ្ញុំមានសេចក្ដីឯទៀតៗជាច្រើន ដែលត្រូវនិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា តែអ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំអាចទទួលនៅពេលនេះបានទេ។

¹³ However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

¹³កាលណាព្រះវិញ្ញាណនៃសេចក្ដីពិតយាងមកដល់ ព្រះអង្គនឹងណែនាំអ្នករាល់គ្នាអោយស្គាល់សេចក្ដីពិតគ្រប់ជំពូក ដ្បិតសេចក្ដីផ្សេងៗដែលព្រះអង្គថ្លែង មិនចេញមកពីព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់ទេ គឺព្រះអង្គថ្លែងតែសេចក្ដីណាដែលទ្រង់ព្រះសណ្ដាប់ឮ ព្រមទាំងមានព្រះបន្ទូលប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹង អំពីហេតុការណ៍ដែលត្រូវកើតមាននៅថ្ងៃមុខផង។

¹⁴ He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine, and will declare it to you.

¹⁴ព្រះអង្គនឹងសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ខ្ញុំ ព្រោះព្រះអង្គទទួលសេចក្ដីទាំងអស់ពីខ្ញុំ យកមកប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា។

¹⁵ All things whatever the Father has are mine; therefore I said that he takes TR reads “will take” instead of “takes” of mine, and will declare it to you.

¹⁵អ្វីៗដែលព្រះបិតាមានទាំងប៉ុន្មានសុទ្ធតែជារបស់ខ្ញុំទាំងអស់។ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាខ្ញុំពោលថា ព្រះអង្គទទួលសេចក្ដីទាំងអស់ពីខ្ញុំយកមកប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា»។

¹⁶ A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.”

¹⁶«បន្ដិចទៀត អ្នករាល់គ្នាលែងឃើញខ្ញុំហើយ តែបន្ដិចក្រោយមកទៀត អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងឃើញខ្ញុំវិញ»។

¹⁷Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and, ‘Because I go to the Father?’ ”

¹⁷សិស្ស ខ្លះសួរគ្នាថា៖ «ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា "បន្ដិចទៀត អ្នករាល់គ្នាលែងឃើញខ្ញុំ តែបន្ដិចក្រោយមកទៀត អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងឃើញខ្ញុំវិញ" ហើយថា "ខ្ញុំនឹងទៅឯព្រះបិតា" តើព្រះអង្គចង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលអំពីអ្វី?»។

¹⁸They said therefore, “What is this that he says, ‘A little while?’ We don’t know what he is saying.”

¹⁸គេសួរគ្នាទៀតថា៖ «ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា "បន្ដិចទៀត"នោះ តើព្រះអង្គចង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលអំពីអ្វីយើងមិនយល់សោះ!»។

¹⁹Therefore Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them, “Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?’

¹⁹ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបថាគេចង់សួរព្រះអង្គ ទើបទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នាសួរគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ចង់ដឹងអំពីពាក្យដែលខ្ញុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថាបន្ដិចទៀត អ្នករាល់គ្នាលែងឃើញខ្ញុំ តែបន្ដិចក្រោយមកទៀត អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងឃើញខ្ញុំវិញ"។

²⁰ Most certainly I tell you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.

²⁰ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងទ្រហោយំសោកសង្រេង តែមនុស្សលោកនឹងអរសប្បាយ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងកើតទុក្ខព្រួយ ប៉ុន្ដែ ទុក្ខព្រួយរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងប្រែទៅជាអំណរសប្បាយវិញ។

²¹ A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow, because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world.

²¹ពេលស្ដ្រីម្នាក់ហៀបឆ្លងទន្លេ នាងតែងព្រួយចិត្ដណាស់ ព្រោះដល់ពេលដែលនាងត្រូវឈឺចាប់ លុះដល់សំរាលកូនរួចហើយ នាងក៏ភ្លេចការឈឺចាប់ទាំងប៉ុន្មានអស់រលីង នាងសប្បាយចិត្ដ ព្រោះមានមនុស្សម្នាក់កើតមកក្នុងលោកនេះ។

²² Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

²²អ្នករាល់គ្នាក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ ឥឡូវនេះអ្នករាល់គ្នាព្រួយចិត្ដ ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំនឹងជួបអ្នករាល់គ្នាសាជាថ្មី អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងសប្បាយចិត្ដ ហើយគ្មាននរណាដកយកអំណរសប្បាយចេញពីចិត្ដអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឡើយ។

²³ “In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

²³នៅពេលនោះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាលែងសួរអ្វីពីខ្ញុំទៀតហើយ។ ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្វីៗដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាទូលសូមព្រះបិតាក្នុងនាមខ្ញុំ ព្រះអង្គមុខជាប្រទានអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនខាន។

²⁴ Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.

²⁴មកទល់ពេលនេះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំទាន់បានទូលសូមអ្វីក្នុងនាមខ្ញុំទេ ចូរទូលសូមទៅ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងបានទទួល ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងមានអំណរពេញលក្ខណៈ»។

²⁵ I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

²⁵«ខ្ញុំបាននិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា អំពីសេចក្ដីទាំងនេះ ដោយប្រើប្រស្នា។ បន្ដិចទៀត ខ្ញុំនឹងនិយាយប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាយ៉ាងច្បាស់ៗអំពីព្រះបិតា ខ្ញុំមិនប្រើប្រស្នាទៀតទេ។

²⁶ In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you,

²⁶នៅគ្រានោះ កាលណាអ្នករាល់គ្នាទូលសូមអ្វីៗពីព្រះបិតា ក្នុងនាមខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំមិនប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ខ្ញុំនឹងអង្វរព្រះអង្គអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាឡើយ

²⁷ for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God.

²⁷ដ្បិតព្រះបិតាមានព្រះហឫទ័យស្រឡាញ់អ្នករាល់គ្នា ព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានស្រឡាញ់ខ្ញុំ ហើយជឿថាខ្ញុំចេញពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់មក។

²⁸ I came out from the Father, and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”

²⁸ខ្ញុំបានចេញពីព្រះបិតាមកក្នុងលោកនេះ ហើយឥឡូវ ខ្ញុំចេញពីលោកនេះទៅឯព្រះបិតាវិញ»។

²⁹His disciples said to him, “Behold, now you speak plainly, and speak no figures of speech.

²⁹ពួកសិស្ស ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលយ៉ាងច្បាស់ៗមកយើងខ្ញុំ ហើយព្រះអង្គមិនប្រើប្រស្នាទៀតទេ។

³⁰Now we know that you know all things, and don’t need for anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came forth from God.”

³⁰ឥឡូវនេះ យើងខ្ញុំដឹងថាព្រះអង្គឈ្វេងយល់គ្រប់សេចក្ដីទាំងអស់ មិនបាច់មាននរណាទូលសួរព្រះអង្គឡើយ។ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាយើងខ្ញុំជឿថា ព្រះអង្គចេញមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់មែន»។

³¹Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?

³¹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបទៅគេថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះអ្នករាល់គ្នាជឿមែនឬ!

³² Behold, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

³²ប៉ុន្ដែពេលកំណត់មកដល់គឺពេលនេះហើយ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងត្រូវខ្ចាត់ខ្ចាយ ម្នាក់ៗទៅតាមផ្លូវរៀងៗខ្លួន បោះបង់ចោលខ្ញុំអោយនៅម្នាក់ឯង។ តាមពិត ខ្ញុំមិននៅម្នាក់ឯងទេ មានព្រះបិតាគង់នៅជាមួយខ្ញុំ។

³³ I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”

³³ខ្ញុំនិយាយប្រាប់ដូច្នេះ ដើម្បីអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានប្រកបដោយសេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដរួមជាមួយខ្ញុំ។ អ្នករាល់គ្នាជួបនឹងទុក្ខវេទនានៅក្នុងលោក ប៉ុន្ដែចូរមានសង្ឃឹមឡើង! ខ្ញុំបានឈ្នះលោកនេះហើយ»។
