¹As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.

¹ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងតាមផ្លូវ ទ្រង់ទតឃើញមនុស្សម្នាក់ខ្វាក់តាំងពីកំណើត។

²His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

²ពួកសិស្សទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ព្រះគ្រូ បុរសនេះកើតមកខ្វាក់ដូច្នេះ តើបណ្ដាលមកពីបាបរបស់នរណា? បាបរបស់គាត់ផ្ទាល់ ឬបាបរបស់ឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់?»។

³Jesus answered, “Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him.

³ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបថា៖ «គាត់ខ្វាក់ មិនមែនមកពីបាបរបស់ឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់ ឬ បាបរបស់គាត់ទេ គាត់ខ្វាក់ដូច្នេះ ដើម្បីអោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់បង្ហាញកិច្ចការរបស់ព្រះអង្គនៅក្នុងគាត់។

⁴ I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.

⁴យើងត្រូវធ្វើកិច្ចការរបស់ព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក ទាន់នៅភ្លឺនៅឡើយ ដ្បិតដល់ពេលយប់ គ្មាននរណាអាចធ្វើការបានឡើយ។

⁵ While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

⁵ពេលខ្ញុំស្ថិតនៅក្នុងពិភពលោកនេះខ្ញុំជាពន្លឺបំភ្លឺពិភពលោក»។

⁶When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,

⁶កាលព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះហើយ ព្រះអង្គស្ដោះទឹកព្រះឱស្ឋទៅលើដី ធ្វើភក់លាបភ្នែកមនុស្សខ្វាក់នោះ

⁷and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.

⁷រួចទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «សុំអញ្ជើញទៅលុបមុខនៅស្រះស៊ីឡោម ចុះ»(ពាក្យ"ស៊ីឡោម" នេះមានន័យថា អ្នកដែលគេចាត់អោយទៅ)។ គាត់ក៏ចេញទៅលុបមុខ ពេលត្រឡប់មកវិញ គាត់មើលឃើញ។

⁸The neighbors therefore, and those who saw that he was blind before, said, “Isn’t this he who sat and begged?”

⁸អ្នកជិតខាង និង អស់អ្នកដែលធ្លាប់ឃើញគាត់សុំទានកាលពីមុន នាំគ្នាពោលថា៖ «បុរសនេះជាអ្នកដែលតែងអង្គុយសុំទានទេតើ!»។

⁹Others were saying, “It is he.” Still others were saying, “He looks like him.” He said, “I am he.”

⁹អ្នកខ្លះពោលថា៖ «គាត់មែន!»។ ខ្លះទៀតថា៖ «មិនមែនទេ អ្នកនេះមានមុខដូចគាត់!»។ រីឯបុរសនោះវិញ គាត់ពោលថា៖«គឺខ្ញុំហ្នឹងហើយ!»។

¹⁰They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”

¹⁰គេក៏នាំគ្នាសួរគាត់ថា៖ «ម្ដេចបានជាភ្នែកអ្នកភ្លឺដូច្នេះ?»។

¹¹He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”

¹¹គាត់ឆ្លើយថា៖ «មានលោកម្នាក់ឈ្មោះយេស៊ូបានធ្វើភក់យកមកលាបភ្នែកខ្ញុំ ហើយប្រាប់ខ្ញុំថា "សុំអញ្ជើញទៅលុបមុខនៅស្រះស៊ីឡោមចុះ!"ខ្ញុំក៏ទៅលុបមុខ ហើយខ្ញុំមើលឃើញ»។

¹²Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”

¹²គេសួរគាត់ថា៖ «លោកនោះនៅឯណា?»។ គាត់ឆ្លើយថា៖ «ខ្ញុំមិនដឹងទេ!»។

¹³They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.

¹³គេនាំអ្នកដែលខ្វាក់ពីមុននោះ ទៅជួបពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី ។

¹⁴It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

¹⁴ថ្ងៃដែលព្រះយេស៊ូធ្វើភក់ និង ប្រោសអ្នកខ្វាក់អោយបានភ្លឺនោះជាថ្ងៃសប្ប័ទ

¹⁵Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”

¹⁵ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីនាំគ្នាសួរម្ដងទៀតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដែលធ្វើអោយភ្នែកគាត់ភ្លឺ។ គាត់ឆ្លើយថា៖ «លោកបានយកភក់ដាក់ពីលើភ្នែកខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំទៅលុបមុខ ហើយក៏មើលឃើញ»។

¹⁶Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” There was division among them.

¹⁶ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីខ្លះពោលថា៖ «អ្នកនោះមិនមែនមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទេ ដ្បិតគាត់ពុំគោរពក្រឹត្យវិន័យ សំរាប់ថ្ងៃឈប់សំរាក»។ ខ្លះទៀតពោលថា៖«តើមនុស្សបាបអាចធ្វើទីសំគាល់ដូចម្ដេចបាន?»ពួកគេក៏បាក់បែកគ្នា។

¹⁷Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”

¹⁷គេសួរអ្នកដែលខ្វាក់ពីមុននោះម្ដងទៀតថា៖ «ចុះអ្នកវិញ តើអ្នកថាលោកដែលធ្វើអោយអ្នកបានភ្លឺនោះជានរណា?»។ គាត់ឆ្លើយថា៖«លោកពិតជាព្យាការី មែន!»។

¹⁸The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,

¹⁸ប៉ុនែ្ដ ជនជាតិយូដានៅតែមិនជឿថា កាលពីមុនបុរសនេះខ្វាក់ ហើយឥឡូវបានមើលឃើញនោះឡើយទាល់តែហៅឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់មកសួរសិន។

¹⁹and asked them, “Is this your son, whom you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”

¹⁹គេសួរទៅឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់ថា៖ «អ្នកនេះពិតជាកូនរបស់អ្នកដែលអ្នកថាខ្វាក់ពីកំណើតមែនឬ ចុះឥឡូវម្ដេចក៏ភ្នែកគាត់ភ្លឺ?»។

²⁰His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;

²⁰ឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់ឆ្លើយថា៖«យើងខ្ញុំដឹងថាវាពិតជាកូនរបស់យើងខ្ញុំមែន ហើយកើតមកខ្វាក់!។

²¹but how he now sees, we don’t know; or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself.”

²¹ត្រង់ឯភ្នែកវាបានភ្លឺដោយហេតុយ៉ាងណាៗនោះ យើងខ្ញុំមិនដឹងទេ ហើយនរណាបានធ្វើអោយភ្នែកវាភ្លឺនោះ ក៏យើងមិនដឹងដែរ!។ សូមអស់លោកសួរវាទៅ វាធំហើយ វាឆ្លើយខ្លួនឯងបាន»។

²²His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.

²²ឪពុកម្ដាយគាត់និយាយដូច្នេះមកពីខ្លាចជនជាតិយូដា ព្រោះជនជាតិយូដារួមគំនិតគ្នា បណ្ដេញអស់អ្នកដែលទទួលស្គាល់ថាព្រះយេស៊ូជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ចេញពីសាលាប្រជុំ របស់គេ។

²³Therefore his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”

²³ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាគាត់ពោលថា "វាធំហើយសូមសួរវាទៅ!"។

²⁴So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”

²⁴ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី បានហៅបុរស ដែលខ្វាក់ពីមុននោះ មកសួរជាលើកទីពីរ។ គេពោលទៅគាត់ថា៖«ត្រូវនិយាយការពិតនៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់!យើងដឹងថាអ្នកនោះពិតជាមនុស្សបាបមែន!»។

²⁵He therefore answered, “I don’t know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”

²⁵បុរសនោះតបថា៖«លោកនោះ ជាមនុស្សបាប ឬយ៉ាងណានោះ ខ្ញុំមិនដឹងទេ ខ្ញុំដឹងតែម៉្យាង គឺពីមុនខ្ញុំខ្វាក់ ឥឡូវនេះខ្ញុំមើលឃើញ»។

²⁶They said to him again, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”

²⁶ពួកគេសួរគាត់ថា៖ «តើអ្នកនោះបានធ្វើអ្វីដល់អ្នក? គាត់បានធ្វើអោយភ្នែកអ្នកភ្លឺ ដោយវិធីណា?»។

²⁷He answered them, “I told you already, and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don’t also want to become his disciples, do you?”

²⁷គាត់ឆ្លើយទៅគេវិញថា៖ «ខ្ញុំបានជំរាបអស់លោករួចមកហើយតែអស់លោកពុំស្ដាប់ខ្ញុំទេ។ ហេតុដូចម្ដេចបានជាអស់លោកចង់អោយខ្ញុំនិយាយម្ដងទៀតដូច្នេះ? ប្រហែលអស់លោកចង់ធ្វើជាសិស្សរបស់លោកនោះដែរហើយមើលទៅ!»។

²⁸They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

²⁸ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីក៏ជេរប្រមាថគាត់ថា៖ «ឯងទេតើជាសិស្សរបស់គាត់! រីឯយើងវិញយើងជាសិស្សរបស់លោកម៉ូសេ!។

²⁹We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”

²⁹យើងដឹងថាព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលមកកាន់លោកម៉ូសេមែន។ រីឯអ្នកនោះវិញ យើងមិនដឹងថាគាត់មកពីណាទេ!»។

³⁰The man answered them, “How amazing! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.

³⁰បុរសនោះនិយាយតបទៅគេថា៖ «លោកនោះបានធ្វើអោយភ្នែកខ្ញុំភ្លឺ តែអស់លោកមិនដឹងថា គាត់មកពីណាដូច្នេះ គួរអោយឆ្ងល់ណាស់។

³¹We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshipper of God, and does his will, he listens to him. Psalm 66:18, Proverbs 15:29; 28:9

³¹យើងដឹងស្រាប់ហើយថាព្រះជាម្ចាស់មិនស្ដាប់ពាក្យរបស់មនុស្សបាបទេ ព្រះអង្គស្ដាប់តែពាក្យរបស់អ្នកគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះអង្គ និង ប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះអង្គប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

³²Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.

³²តាំងពីដើមរៀងមក យើងមិនដែលឮថាមាននរណាធ្វើអោយភ្នែកមនុស្សខ្វាក់ពីកំណើតបានភ្លឺនោះឡើយ។

³³If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

³³ប្រសិនបើលោកនោះមិនមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទេ លោកមិនអាចធ្វើការអ្វីបានទាល់តែសោះ»។

³⁴They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” They threw him out.

³⁴ពួកគេនាំគ្នាពោលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ឯងជាមនុស្សជាប់បាបពេញខ្លួនតាំងពីកំណើតមក ហើយឯងហ៊ានប្រដៅយើងទៀត!»។ គេក៏បណ្ដេញគាត់ចេញទៅខាងក្រៅ។

³⁵Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”

³⁵ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបថា គេបានបណ្ដេញគាត់ កាលព្រះអង្គជួបគាត់ ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលសួរថា៖ «តើអ្នកជឿលើបុត្រមនុស្ស ឬទេ?»។

³⁶He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”

³⁶គាត់ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «លោកម្ចាស់អើយ តើនរណាជាបុត្រមនុស្ស សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំអោយដឹងផង ដើម្បីអោយខ្ញុំជឿលើព្រះអង្គ»។

³⁷Jesus said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”

³⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «អ្នកឃើញលោកស្រាប់ គឺអ្នកដែលកំពុងតែនិយាយជាមួយអ្នកហ្នឹងហើយជាបុត្រមនុស្ស»។

³⁸He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.

³⁸គាត់ទូលព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់! ទូលបង្គំជឿលើព្រះអង្គហើយ»។ គាត់ក៏ក្រាបថ្វាយបង្គំព្រះអង្គ។

³⁹Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

³⁹បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំមកក្នុងពិភពលោកនេះ ដើម្បីវិនិច្ឆ័យចិត្ដមនុស្ស គឺអោយមនុស្សខ្វាក់មើលឃើញ ហើយអោយមនុស្សមើលឃើញ ត្រឡប់ទៅជាខ្វាក់វិញ»។

⁴⁰Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”

⁴⁰ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីខ្លះដែលនៅទីនោះ ជាមួយព្រះអង្គ បានឮដូច្នេះក៏ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ប្រហែលជាលោកចង់ថា យើងខ្ញុំនេះ ជាមនុស្សខ្វាក់ដែរហើយមើលទៅ!»។

⁴¹Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.

⁴¹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលឆ្លើយទៅគេវិញថា៖ «ប្រសិនបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាខ្វាក់មែន អ្នករាល់គ្នាគ្មានបាបទេ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ មកពីអ្នករាល់គ្នាថាខ្លួនមើលឃើញដូច្នេះហើយ បានជាអ្នករាល់គ្នានៅតែជាប់បាបរហូត»។
