²Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down, and taught them.

³The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman taken in adultery. Having set her in the midst,

³ពេលនោះ ពួកអាចារ្យ និង ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី នាំស្ដ្រីម្នាក់ ដែលគេទាន់កំពុងតែរួមសហាយស្មន់។ គេយកនាងនោះមកដាក់កណ្ដាលចំណោមប្រជុំជន

⁴they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act.

⁴ហើយទូលព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «លោកគ្រូ យើងចាប់ស្ដ្រីនេះបាន ក្នុងពេលកំពុងរួមសហាយស្មន់។

⁵Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such. Leviticus 20:10; Deuteronomy 22:22 What then do you say about her?”

⁶They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down, and wrote on the ground with his finger.

⁷But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.”

⁷ដោយពួកគេចេះតែសួរព្រះអង្គខ្លាំងពេក ព្រះអង្គងើបព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រឡើង មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា សុំអោយអ្នកដែលគ្មានបាបសោះយកដុំថ្មគប់នាងមុនគេទៅ!»។

⁸Again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.

⁹They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.

⁹ពួកគេបានឮព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គដូច្នេះ ក៏នាំគ្នាដកខ្លួនថយម្នាក់ម្ដងៗចាប់ផ្ដើមពីអ្នកមានវ័យចាស់ជាងគេទៅ នៅសល់តែព្រះយេស៊ូ និង ស្ដ្រីនោះប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

¹⁰Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?”

¹⁰ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូងើបព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រឡើង មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅនាងថា៖«នាងអើយ ពួកគេទៅណាអស់ហើយ គ្មាននរណាដាក់ទោសនាងទេឬ?»។

¹¹She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.”

¹¹នាងទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «គ្មានទេលោកម្ចាស់!»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅនាងថា៖«ខ្ញុំក៏មិនដាក់ទោសនាងដែរ សុំអញ្ជើញទៅចុះ តែពីពេលនេះតទៅ កុំប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាបទៀតឡើយ»។ ]

¹²Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Isaiah 60:1 He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

¹²ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់បណ្ដាជនសាជាថ្មីថា៖ «ខ្ញុំជាពន្លឺបំភ្លឺពិភពលោក អ្នកណាមកតាមខ្ញុំអ្នកនោះនឹងមិនដើរក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹតឡើយ គឺគេមានពន្លឺនាំគេទៅកាន់ជីវិត»។

¹³The Pharisees therefore said to him, “You testify about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.”

¹³ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «លោកធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់អោយខ្លួនលោកផ្ទាល់ សក្ខីភាពរបស់លោកមិនពិតទេ»។

¹⁴Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going.

¹⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបទៅគេថា៖ «ទោះបីខ្ញុំធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់អោយខ្លួនខ្ញុំផ្ទាល់ក៏ដោយ ក៏សក្ខីភាពរបស់ខ្ញុំនៅតែពិតដែរ ដ្បិតខ្ញុំដឹងថាខ្ញុំមកពីណា ហើយទៅណាផង។ រីឯអ្នករាល់គ្នាវិញ អ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំដឹងថា ខ្ញុំមកពីណាហើយទៅណាឡើយ។

¹⁵ You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

¹⁵អ្នករាល់គ្នាវិនិច្ឆ័យតាមរបៀបលោកីយ៍។ រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំមិនវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសនរណាទេ

¹⁶ Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me.

¹⁶ប្រសិនបើខ្ញុំវិនិច្ឆ័យទោស ការវិនិច្ឆ័យរបស់ខ្ញុំក៏ស្របតាមសេចក្ដីពិតដែរ ព្រោះខ្ញុំមិនវិនិច្ឆ័យតែម្នាក់ខ្ញុំឡើយ គឺមានព្រះបិតាដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកវិនិច្ឆ័យជាមួយខ្ញុំ។

¹⁷ It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid. Deuteronomy 17:6; 19:15

¹⁷ក្នុងវិន័យរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នាមានចែងទុកមកថា បើមានពីរនាក់ធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់ ទើបសក្ខីភាពយកជាការបាន។

¹⁸ I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

¹⁸ខ្ញុំនេះហើយជាបន្ទាល់សំរាប់ខ្លួនខ្ញុំផ្ទាល់ ហើយព្រះបិតាដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកក៏ធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់អោយខ្ញុំដែរ»។

¹⁹They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me, nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

¹⁹ពួកគេទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «តើព្រះបិតារបស់លោកនៅឯណា?»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបទៅគេថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ ហើយក៏មិនស្គាល់ព្រះបិតារបស់ខ្ញុំដែរ។ បើអ្នករាល់គ្នាស្គាល់ខ្ញុំ អ្នករាល់គ្នាមុខជាស្គាល់ព្រះបិតារបស់ខ្ញុំមិនខាន»។

²⁰Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.

²⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទាំងនេះ កាលព្រះអង្គបង្រៀនបណ្ដាជនក្នុងព្រះវិហារ ត្រង់កន្លែងដាក់ហិបប្រាក់តង្វាយ ប៉ុន្ដែ គ្មាននរណាចាប់ព្រះអង្គទេ ព្រោះពេលកំណត់របស់ព្រះអង្គមិនទាន់មកដល់នៅឡើយ។

²¹Jesus said therefore again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”

²¹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេទៀតថា៖ «ខ្ញុំនឹងចាកចេញទៅ ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងតាមរកខ្ញុំតែអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ ទាំងមានបាបជាប់ក្នុងខ្លួន។ ទីណាខ្ញុំទៅ ទីនោះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំអាចនឹងទៅបានឡើយ»។

²²The Jews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, that he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come?’ ”

²²ជនជាតិយូដានិយាយគ្នាថា៖ «តើលោកនឹងសម្លាប់ខ្លួនឬ បានជាលោកពោលថា"ទីណាខ្ញុំទៅ ទីនោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំអាចនឹងទៅបាន"ដូច្នេះ?»។

²³He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

²³ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នាមានកំណើតនៅស្ថាននេះ រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំមានកំណើតមកពីស្ថានលើ។ អ្នករាល់គ្នាមានកំណើតពីនិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍នេះ រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំពុំមែនមានកំណើតពីនិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍នេះឡើយ។

²⁴ I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am or, I AM he, you will die in your sins.”

²⁴ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាខ្ញុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ ទាំងមានបាបជាប់ក្នុងខ្លួន។ បើអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនព្រមទទួលស្គាល់ឋានៈរបស់ខ្ញុំ ទេ អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ ទាំងមានបាបជាប់ក្នុងខ្លួនជាមិនខាន»។

²⁵They said therefore to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

²⁵គេទូលសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖«តើលោកមានឋានៈអ្វី?» ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំបានប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាតាំងពីដើមដំបូងមកម៉្លេះ។

²⁶ I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.”

²⁶ខ្ញុំមានសេចក្ដីជាច្រើនដែលត្រូវនិយាយអំពីអ្នករាល់គ្នា ព្រមទាំងវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសអ្នករាល់គ្នាផង។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក ទ្រង់សំដែងសេចក្ដីពិត ហើយអ្វីៗដែលខ្ញុំបានឮពីព្រះអង្គ ខ្ញុំក៏យកមកថ្លែងប្រាប់មនុស្សលោកដែរ»។

²⁷They didn’t understand that he spoke to them about the Father.

²⁷អ្នកទាំងនោះមិនយល់ថា ព្រះអង្គកំពុងតែមានព្រះបន្ទូលអំពីព្រះបិតាប្រាប់គេឡើយ។

²⁸Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things.

²⁸ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេទៀតថា៖ «កាលណាអ្នករាល់គ្នាលើកបុត្រមនុស្សឡើង អ្នករាល់គ្នាមុខជានឹងស្គាល់ឋានៈរបស់ខ្ញុំ ពុំខាន ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងដឹងថា ខ្ញុំមិនធ្វើការអ្វីមួយ ដោយសំអាងលើខ្លួនខ្ញុំផ្ទាល់ឡើយ គឺខ្ញុំថ្លែងតែសេចក្ដីណាដែលព្រះបិតាមានព្រះបន្ទូលប្រាប់មកខ្ញុំប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

²⁹ He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”

²⁹ព្រះអង្គដែលចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក ទ្រង់គង់នៅជាមួយខ្ញុំព្រះអង្គមិនចោលខ្ញុំអោយនៅតែម្នាក់ឯងឡើយ ដ្បិតខ្ញុំតែងប្រព្រឹត្ដកិច្ចការណា ដែលគាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះអង្គជានិច្ច»។

³⁰As he spoke these things, many believed in him.

³⁰ពេលព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះមានមនុស្សជាច្រើនជឿលើព្រះអង្គ។

³¹Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

³¹ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់ជនជាតិយូដា ដែលបានជឿលើព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ប្រសិនបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាស្ថិតនៅជាប់នឹងពាក្យរបស់ខ្ញុំ អ្នករាល់គ្នាពិតជាសិស្សរបស់ខ្ញុំមែន។

³² You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” Psalm 119:45

³²អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងស្គាល់សេចក្ដីពិត ហើយសេចក្ដីពិតនឹងរំដោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាអោយមានសេរីភាព»។

³³They answered him, “We are Abraham’s seed, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free?’ ”

³³គេនាំគ្នាទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «យើងខ្ញុំជាកូនចៅលោកអប្រាហាំ! យើងខ្ញុំមិនដែលធ្វើខ្ញុំបំរើអ្នកណាឡើយ ម្ដេចក៏លោកគ្រូថា "អ្នករាល់គ្នានឹងមានសេរីភាព"ដូច្នេះ?»។

³⁴Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.

³⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថាអ្នកណាប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាប អ្នកនោះជាខ្ញុំបំរើរបស់អំពើបាប។

³⁵ A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever.

³⁵ធម្មតា ខ្ញុំបំរើមិនដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងផ្ទះរបស់ម្ចាស់ជាប់រហូតទេ មានតែកូនរបស់ម្ចាស់ប៉ុណ្ណោះដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងផ្ទះជាប់រហូតតទៅ។

³⁶ If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

³⁷ I know that you are Abraham’s seed, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you.

³⁷ខ្ញុំដឹងហើយថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាជាកូនចៅរបស់លោកអប្រាហាំ ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នករាល់គ្នារកសម្លាប់ខ្ញុំ ព្រោះពាក្យរបស់ខ្ញុំមិនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងចិត្ដអ្នករាល់គ្នាឡើយ។

³⁸ I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.”

³⁸ខ្ញុំនិយាយតែអំពីអ្វីៗដែលខ្ញុំបានឃើញនៅក្បែរព្រះបិតា រីឯអ្នករាល់គ្នាវិញ អ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្វើតាមសេចក្ដីណាដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឮពីឪពុករបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា»។

³⁹They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.

³⁹គេទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ឪពុករបស់យើង គឺលោកអប្រាហាំ»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបវិញថា៖«បើអ្នករាល់គ្នាពិតជាកូនចៅលោកអប្រាហាំមែន អ្នករាល់គ្នាមុខជាធ្វើកិច្ចការ ដូចលោកអប្រាហាំធ្លាប់ធ្វើនោះមិនខាន

⁴⁰ But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.

⁴⁰តែឥឡូវនេះ អ្នករាល់គ្នារកសម្លាប់ខ្ញុំមកពីខ្ញុំនិយាយសេចក្ដីពិត ដែលខ្ញុំបានឮពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់លោកអប្រាហាំមិនបានប្រព្រឹត្ដដូច្នេះទេ។

⁴¹ You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”

⁴¹អ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្វើកិច្ចការដែលឪពុកអ្នករាល់គ្នាប្រព្រឹត្ដ»។ គេទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «យើងខ្ញុំជាកូនពេញច្បាប់ យើងមានឪពុកតែមួយគត់ គឺព្រះជាម្ចាស់»។

⁴²Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.

⁴²ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ប្រសិនបើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពិតជាឪពុកអ្នករាល់គ្នាមែនម៉្លេះសមអ្នករាល់គ្នាស្រឡាញ់ខ្ញុំពុំខានដ្បិតខ្ញុំចេញពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់មកទីនេះ។ ខ្ញុំមិនមែនមកដោយចិត្ដឯងឡើយ គឺព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក។

⁴³ Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.

⁴³ហេតុអ្វីបានជាអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនយល់ពាក្យដែលខ្ញុំថ្លែងប្រាប់ដូច្នេះ? គឺមកពីអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនអាចស្ដាប់ពាក្យរបស់ខ្ញុំបាន។

⁴⁴ You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father.

⁴⁴អ្នករាល់គ្នាជាកូនចៅរបស់មារសាតាំង ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នាចង់ធ្វើតាមចំណង់ចិត្ដឪពុកអ្នករាល់គ្នា។ តាំងពីដើមរៀងមកវាបានសម្លាប់មនុស្សហើយមិនកាន់តាមសេចក្ដីពិតទេ ព្រោះគ្មានសេចក្ដីពិតនៅក្នុងខ្លួនវាសោះ។ ពេលវានិយាយកុហក នោះវានិយាយចេញពីគំនិតវាផ្ទាល់ ព្រោះវាជាមេកុហកហើយជាឪពុកនៃអ្នកកុហក។

⁴⁵ But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me.

⁴⁵រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំនិយាយសេចក្ដីពិតតែអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនជឿខ្ញុំទេ។

⁴⁶ Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?

⁴⁶ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នាតើនរណាអាចចោទប្រកាន់ថាខ្ញុំប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាបបាន? បើខ្ញុំនិយាយសេចក្ដីពិត ហេតុដូចម្ដេចបានជាអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនជឿខ្ញុំ?

⁴⁷ He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.”

⁴⁷អ្នកណាកើតមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ អ្នកនោះតែងស្ដាប់ព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។ រីឯអ្នករាល់គ្នាវិញ អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនមែនកើតមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទេបានជាអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស្ដាប់ខ្ញុំដូច្នេះ»។

⁴⁸Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”

⁴⁸ជនជាតិយូដាទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «យើងនិយាយថាលោកជាសាសន៍សាម៉ារី ហើយថាមានអារក្សចូលលោកនោះត្រូវមែន!»។

⁴⁹Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.

⁴⁹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបថា៖ «គ្មានអារក្សណាចូលខ្ញុំឡើយ តែខ្ញុំគោរពព្រះបិតារបស់ខ្ញុំ ហើយអ្នករាល់គ្នាបែរជាបន្ដុះបង្អាប់ខ្ញុំទៅវិញ។

⁵⁰ But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.

⁵⁰ខ្ញុំមិនរកសិរីរុងរឿងសំរាប់ខ្លួនខ្ញុំឡើយ គឺមានម្នាក់រកអោយខ្ញុំហើយវិនិច្ឆ័យទៀតផង។

⁵¹ Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.”

⁵¹ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នកណាកាន់តាមពាក្យរបស់ខ្ញុំ អ្នកនោះនឹងមិនស្លាប់សោះឡើយ»។

⁵²Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’

⁵²ជនជាតិយូដាទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ យើងដឹងច្បាស់ហើយថាលោកពិតជាមានអារក្សចូលមែន។ លោកអប្រាហាំ និង ពួកព្យាការី បានទទួលមរណភាពទៅហើយ រីឯលោកវិញ លោកហ៊ានពោលថា អ្នកណាកាន់តាមពាក្យលោក អ្នកនោះមិនស្លាប់សោះឡើយ។

⁵³Are you greater than our father, Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?”

⁵³តើលោកមានឋានៈធំជាងលោកអប្រាហាំជាបុព្វបុរសរបស់យើង ដែលទទួលមរណភាពទៅហើយនោះឬ? រីឯពួកព្យាការី ក៏ទទួលមរណភាពទៅដែរ។ ចុះលោកលោកតាំងខ្លួនជាអ្វី?»។

⁵⁴Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

⁵⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «បើខ្ញុំលើកតម្កើងខ្លួនខ្ញុំ សិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ខ្ញុំគ្មានតម្លៃអ្វីទាល់តែសោះ គឺព្រះបិតារបស់ខ្ញុំទេតើដែលលើកតម្កើងខ្ញុំ ព្រះអង្គនោះហើយដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាថាជា "ព្រះរបស់យើង"។

⁵⁵ You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him, and keep his word.

⁵⁵អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គទេរីឯខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គប្រសិនបើខ្ញុំថា ខ្ញុំមិនស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គទេ ខ្ញុំមុខជានិយាយកុហកដូចអ្នករាល់គ្នាដែរ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គ ហើយកាន់តាមព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គថែមទៀតផង។

⁵⁶ Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad.”

⁵⁶លោកអប្រាហាំជាឪពុករបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នាមានចិត្ដត្រេកអរពន់ប្រមាណ ដោយសង្ឃឹមថានឹងឃើញខ្ញុំមកដល់។ លោកក៏បានឃើញមែនហើយត្រេកអរសប្បាយ»។

⁵⁷The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?”

⁵⁷ជនជាតិយូដាពោលថា៖ «លោកមានអាយុមិនទាន់ទាំងបានហាសិបឆ្នាំផង ម្ដេចក៏ថាបានឃើញលោកអប្រាហាំដូច្នេះ?»។

⁵⁸Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM. or, I am ”

⁵⁸ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា មុនលោកអប្រាហាំកើតមក ខ្ញុំមានជីវិត រួចស្រេចទៅហើយ»។

⁵⁹Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through their midst, and so passed by.

⁵⁹ពួកគេក៏រើសដុំថ្មបំរុងនឹងគប់សម្លាប់ព្រះអង្គ ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះយេស៊ូភៀសព្រះអង្គចេញពីព្រះវិហារ បាត់ទៅ។
