¹Hear my prayer, Yahweh! Let my cry come to you.

¹Viešpatie, išgirsk mano maldą, ir mano šauksmas tepasiekia Tave.

²Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.

²Neslėpk savo veido nuo manęs tą dieną, kai esu varge. Palenk į mane savo ausį, kai šaukiuosi, skubėk man atsakyti.

³For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch.

³Mano dienos pranyksta kaip dūmai, mano kaulai kaip židinys dega.

⁴My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.

⁴Kaip pakirsta žolė mano širdis džiūsta; aš pamirštu valgyti.

⁵By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.

⁵Nuo skaudžių aimanų oda prilipo prie mano kaulų.

⁶I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.

⁶Esu panašus į dykumų pelikaną, į pelėdą griuvėsiuose.

⁷Nemiegu ir esu vienišas kaip paukštis ant stogo.

⁸My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.

⁸Priešai mane užgaulioja, ir mano vardas jiems tapo keiksmažodžiu.

⁹For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,

⁹Pelenus valgau kaip duoną ir su ašaromis maišau savo gėrimą

¹⁰Because of your indignation and your wrath, for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.

¹⁰dėl Tavo rūstybės ir pykčio, nes Tu mane pakėlei ir nubloškei žemėn.

¹¹My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.

¹¹Mano dienos yra tartum ištįsęs šešėlis, ir aš lyg žolė džiūstu.

¹²But you, Yahweh, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.

¹²Bet Tu, Viešpatie, pasiliksi per amžius; Tave minės visos kartos.

¹³You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.

¹³Tu pakilsi ir pasigailėsi Siono, nes atėjo metas jam suteikti malonę.

¹⁴For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.

¹⁴Tavo tarnams jo akmenys meilūs, jiems gaila jo dulkių.

¹⁵So the nations will fear the name of Yahweh; all the kings of the earth your glory.

¹⁵Tavo vardo, Viešpatie, bijos pagonys ir Tavo šlovės­pasaulio karaliai.

¹⁶For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.

¹⁶Kai Viešpats atstatys Sioną, Jis pasirodys savo šlovėje;

¹⁷He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.

¹⁷apleistųjų maldas Jis išklausys, jų prašymų nepaniekins.

¹⁸This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah.

¹⁸Tai tebūna užrašyta ateisiančiai kartai, kad tauta, kuri bus sukurta, girtų Viešpatį.

¹⁹For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;

¹⁹Iš savo šventos aukštybės Viešpats pažvelgė žemyn, iš dangaus pažiūrėjo į žemę,

²⁰to hear the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death;

²⁰kad išgirstų belaisvių dejones, išlaisvintų mirčiai skirtuosius,

²¹that men may declare the name of Yahweh in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

²¹kad Sione būtų skelbiamas Viešpaties vardas ir girtų Jį Jeruzalėje,

²²when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.

²²kai susiburs karalystės ir tautos tarnauti Viešpačiui.

²³He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.

²³Jis susilpnino mane kelionėje, sutrumpino mano gyvenimo dienas.

²⁴I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the midst of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.

²⁴Aš sakiau: “Mano Dieve, neatimk manęs įpusėjus mano amžiui, Tavo metai tęsiasi per visas kartas.

²⁵Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.

²⁵Kadaise Tu sukūrei žemę ir dangūs yra Tavo rankų darbas.

²⁶They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.

²⁶Jie pražus, bet Tu pasiliksi. Jie visi susidėvės kaip drabužis, kaip rūbą juos pakeisi, ir jie bus pakeisti.

²⁷But you are the same. Your years will have no end.

²⁷Bet Tu esi tas pats ir Tavo metai nesibaigs.

²⁸The children of your servants will continue. Their seed will be established before you.”

²⁸Tavo tarnų vaikai gyvens ir jų palikuonys įsitvirtins Tavo akivaizdoje”.
