1Praise Yah! Psalm 112 is an acrostic poem, with each verse after the initial “Praise Yah!” starting with a letter of the alphabet (ordered from Alef to Tav). Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
1Girkite Viešpatį! Palaimintas žmogus, kuris Viešpaties bijosi ir Jo įsakymus labai mėgsta.
2His seed will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
2Jo palikuonys bus galingi žemėje; palaiminta bus dorųjų karta.
3Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.
3Jo namuose bus gerovė ir turtai, jo teisumas pasiliks per amžius.
4Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.
4Dorajam šviesa nušvinta tamsoje, jis yra maloningas, kupinas gailestingumo ir teisus.
5It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.
5Geras žmogus pasigaili ir skolina, jis teisingai savo reikalus tvarko.
6For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.
6Jis nesvyruos per amžius. Amžinai bus minimas teisiojo vardas.
7He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.
7Bloga žinia jo neišgąsdins; tvirta yra jo širdis, nes jis pasitiki Viešpačiu.
8His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
8Įsitvirtinusi jo širdis, jis nebijos, kol pamatys sugėdintus savo priešus.
9He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.
9Jis beturčiams dovanas dosniai dalina. Jo teisumas pasilieka per amžius. Jo ragas iškils garbingai.
10The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
