²Sudrebinai ir suskaldei žemę; užtaisyk jos plyšius, nes ji svyruoja.

³You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.

³Leidai patirti savo tautai sunkių vargų, mus girdei svaiginančiu vynu.

⁸Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”

⁸Moabas yra mano praustuvė. Ant Edomo numesiu savo kurpę. Filistija, džiūgauk dėl manęs”.

⁹Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom?

⁹Kas įves mane į sustiprintą miestą? Kas nuves mane į Edomą?

¹⁰Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.

¹⁰Argi ne Tu, Dieve, atstūmei mus? Argi ne Tu, Dieve, neišėjai su mūsų kariuomene?

¹¹Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.

¹¹Suteik mums pagalbą varge, nes žmonių pagalba yra be vertės.

¹²Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.

¹²Su Dievu mes būsime drąsūs, Jis sumindys mūsų priešus.
