¹Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

¹ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਲਤੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਦ ਵੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਕਸੂਰਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਅਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਸੂਰਵਾਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਖੁਦ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।

²We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

²ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਖੁਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

³Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

³ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਦ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਸੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਅਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚ ਸਕੋਂਗੇ।

⁴Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

⁴ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਆਲੂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਡ਼ੇ ਸਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਲਿਤ੍ਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ, ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੈ।

⁵But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

⁵ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਡ਼ੇ ਕਠੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਖਤ ਦਿਲ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ।

⁶who “will pay back to everyone according to their works:” Psalm 62:12; Proverbs 24:12

⁶ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ਲ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

⁷to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;

⁷ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

⁸but to those who are self-seeking, and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation,

⁸ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਸੁਆਰਥੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਰੋਧ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ।

⁹oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who works evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

⁹ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

¹⁰But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

¹⁰ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

¹¹For there is no partiality with God.

¹¹ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਬਿਨਾ ਪਖਪਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

¹²For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

¹²ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

¹³For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

¹³ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਧਰਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ, ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਉਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

¹⁴(for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,

¹⁴ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਹਨ।

¹⁵in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)

¹⁵ਉਹ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਲਤ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਲਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

¹⁶in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ਇਹ ਸਭ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਹੱਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਖੁਸ਼ ਖਬਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

¹⁷Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, and rest on the law, and glory in God,

¹⁷ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਬਣੇਗਾ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਹੋ।

¹⁸and know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,

¹⁸ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮਹਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੈ।

¹⁹and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

¹⁹ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਰਸ਼ਕ ਹੋ, ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੋ, ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।

²⁰a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.

²⁰ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੂਰਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੱਚ ਹਨ।

²¹You therefore who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn’t steal, do you steal?

²¹ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੋਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?

²²You who say a man shouldn’t commit adultery. Do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

²²ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ, ਨੂੰ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਮੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ।

²³You who glory in the law, through your disobedience of the law do you dishonor God?

²³ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਤੋਡ਼ਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰੀ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ।

²⁴For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” Isaiah 52:5; Ezekiel 36:22 just as it is written.

²⁴ਇਹ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਦਨਾਮੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।”

²⁵For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

²⁵ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਆ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਡ਼ਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਸੁੰਨਤੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਮਝੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।

²⁶If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won’t his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?

²⁶ਭਾਵੇਂ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ, ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜਿਉਣ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਵੇਂ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਜਾਏਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਵੇ।

²⁷Won’t the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?

²⁷ਤੁਸਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਹੋਈ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਡ਼ਦੇ ਹੋ। ਸੋ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ ਪਰ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ।

²⁸For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;

²⁸ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੱਚਾ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

²⁹ਪਰ ਸੱਚਾ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ। ਉਹ ਵਿ ਅਕਤੀ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਸਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ।
