2

1Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
1Huaijiakin, mihing aw, mi selhat kuapeuh himahlechin, pau lam himhim na neikei hi; midang na selna mahah nangmah leh nangmah siamlouh kitang sak na hi; nang selhatin leng huchibang thilte tuh na hih sam ngala.
2We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.
2Huchibang thil hih nakte tungah Pathian vaihawmna tuh diktak in a tung chih i thei ngala.
3Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
4Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
4A hihkeileh, Pathian hoihna tuh kisiknaa nang honpi dinga om ahi chih theilouin, a hoihna, a thuaktheihna leh, a dohtheihna hauhnate na ngaineu ahi a?
5But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;
6who “will pay back to everyone according to their works:”
6Pathianin mi chih a thil hih bang jel un a hawmsak dinga;
7to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;
7thil hoih hih teiteia, thupina leh pahtawina leh manthat theihlouhna zong mite kiangah, khantawn hinna a pe ding;
8but to those who are self-seeking, and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation,
8a hihhangin, genhaka, thutak jui lou a, gitlouhna jui zote tungah, hehna leh thangpaihna te, haksatna leh lungkhamna thupitakte a om dia;
9oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who works evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
9mihing thil hihkhial tengteng kha tungah a om ding, Juda mi kha tungah a masa dia, huan, Grik mi kha tungah a om nawn ding.
10But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
10Ahihhangin, thil hoih hih peuhmah kiangah thupinate, pahtawina te, khamuanna te piak ahi ding, Juda mi kiangah piak ahi masa dia, huan, Grik mi kiangah ahi nawn ding.
11For there is no partiality with God.
11Pathianin mi deihsk tuam a nein gal keia.
12For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
12Kuapeuh dan neiloua thil hihkhial tuh, dan louin a mangthang ding hi; huan, kuapeuhmah dan neia thil hihkhial tuh, dana vaihawmin a om ding.
13For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified
13Dan zami phette tuh Pathian mitmuhin mi dik ahi kei ua; dan juite tuh mi dik a hizo ding uh.
14(for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,
14Dan neilou Jentelten amau pianpiha dan thilte a hih un, huaiten dan neikeimahleh uh, amau leh amau danin a kinei tawm ngal ua.
15in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)
15A lungtang uah dan thilhih gelh ahi chih a ensak uh, huai tuh a sia leh pha theihna un a theihpih hi; a lungsimte uh tuh a kisela, a thupukna-un siamlouh a tan hiam siam a tan hiam ahi ding,
16in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.
16ka Tanchin Hoih gen banga, mihingte thugukte Pathianin, Jesu Krisa, a ngaihtuah ni chiangin.
17Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, and rest on the law, and glory in God,
18and know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,
19and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
19nangmah mah mittawte pipa, mial laka omte vakna hiin na kigingta a;
20a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.
20dan ah pilna leh thutak omdan na theih jiakin, mi pilloute hilhpilpa, naungekte hilhpain nakigingta hi;
21You therefore who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn’t steal, do you steal?
22You who say a man shouldn’t commit adultery. Do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
23You who glory in the law, through your disobedience of the law do you dishonor God?
24For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” just as it is written.
24A gelh bang ngei un Pathian min tuh noumau jiakin Jentelte lakah hihsiatin a om ta hi.
25For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
25Dan juipa na hih leh zeksum a phatuam ngial hi; dana talekpa na hih lebel, na zeksum tuh sum louh bang phet a honghita hi.
26If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won’t his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?
26Huaijiakin, zeksum lou miin dan thu sehte a zuih leh, a zeksum louh tuh sum banga sim ahi kei dia hia?
27Won’t the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?
27Huan, amau saa zeksum louhin dan a zuih kim uleh, nang, danthu gelh leh zeksum nei ngala, dana talekpa a honmohpaih kei ding ua hia?
28For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;
28Alang lela Juda mi hi jaw Juda mi tak ahi kei hi; a langa sa lela zeksum jaw zeksum tak leng ahi sam kei hi.Ahihhangin, a lang lel hi loua, Juda mi hi, Juda mi tak ahi; huan, zeksum tak tuh, lungsim lama sum ahi, lai thu phetah hi louin, kha ah ahi; huai miin tuh mihing phat a loh keia, Pathian phat a loh jaw ahi.
29but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
29Ahihhangin, a lang lel hi loua, Juda mi hi, Juda mi tak ahi; huan, zeksum tak tuh, lungsim lama sum ahi, lai thu phetah hi louin, kha ah ahi; huai miin tuh mihing phat a loh keia, Pathian phat a loh jaw ahi.
