¹Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to Yahweh your God; for in the month of Abib Yahweh your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.

¹ «در ماه ابیب عید فصح را به احترام خداوند خدایتان بجا آورید، زیرا در همین ماه بود که خداوند خدایتان هنگام شب، شما را از سرزمین مصر بیرون آورد.

²You shall sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Yahweh shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

² در عید فصح از رمه و گلّه‌تان برای خداوند خدایتان در مکانی که خداوند برای پرستش خود برگزیده، قربانی کنید.

³You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.

³ شما نباید گوشت قربانی را با نانی که با خمیرمایه پخته شده باشد بخورید. هفت روز نان فطیر بخورید. این نان، یادگار روزهای مشقّت‌بار شما در مصر و خاطرهٔ روزی است که با عجله آن سرزمین را ترک کردید.

⁴No yeast shall be seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning.

⁴ برای مدّت هفت روز هیچ‌کس در سرزمین شما نباید خمیرمایه در خانه‌اش داشته باشد و گوشت حیوانی را که در عصر روز اول قربانی شده است، باید در همان شب بخورید.

⁵You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you;

⁵ «در سرزمینی که خداوند خدایتان به شما می‌دهد، قربانی فصح را فقط در مکانی که خدا برای پرستش خود برگزیده، انجام دهید و نه جایی دیگر. در هنگام غروب قربانی کنید، زیرا در غروب بود که شما مصر را ترک کردید.

⁶but at the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt.

⁶ گوشت قربانی را در مکانی که خداوند برای پرستش خود برگزیده، بپزید و بخورید و صبح روز بعد به خانهٔ خود بازگردید.

⁷You shall roast and eat it in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose: and you shall turn in the morning, and go to your tents.

⁷ مدّت شش روز بعد از آن نان فطیر بخورید. در روز هفتم همهٔ شما برای پرستش خداوند خدایتان جمع شوید و به هیچ کار دست نزنید.

⁸Six days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Yahweh your God; you shall do no work.

⁸ «هفت هفته بعد از آغاز فصل درو،

⁹You shall count for yourselves seven weeks: from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you shall begin to number seven weeks.

⁹ عید نوبر محصولات را برگزار کنید و هدایای داوطلبانه خود را به نسبت برکتی که خداوند خدایتان به شما داده است، برای احترام به او تقدیم کنید.

¹⁰You shall keep the feast of weeks to Yahweh your God with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give, according as Yahweh your God blesses you:

¹⁰ همه با فرزندان، خدمتکاران، لاویان، بیگانگان، یتیمان و بیوه زنانی که در شهرهای شما زندگی می‌کنند، در حضور خداوند شادی کنید. این کار را در مکانی که خداوند برای پرستش خود برگزیده، انجام دهید.

¹¹and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are in the midst of you, in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

¹¹ مطمئن باشید که از این فرمانها پیروی می‌کنید و فراموش نکنید شما در مصر برده بودید.

¹²You shall remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these statutes.

¹² «عید خیمه‌ها را بعد از آن که خرمن خود را کوبیدید و آب انگورها را گرفتید، برای هفت روز برگزار کنید.

¹³You shall keep the feast of tents seven days, after that you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your winepress:

¹³ این عید را با فرزندان، خدمتکاران، لاویان، بیگانگان، یتیمان و بیوه‌زنانی که در شهرهای شما زندگی می‌کنند، برگزار کنید.

¹⁴and you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates.

¹⁴ خداوند خدایتان را با برگزاری این جشن به مدّت هفت روز در مکانی که خداوند برای پرستش خود برگزیده، محترم بشمارید. شادمان باشید زیرا خداوند محصولات و کار شما را برکت داده است.

¹⁵You shall keep a feast to Yahweh your God seven days in the place which Yahweh shall choose; because Yahweh your God will bless you in all your increase, and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.

¹⁵ «همهٔ مردان شما سه بار در سال برای پرستش خداوند در مکانی که خداوند برای پرستش خود برگزیده، در روزهای عید فصح، عید نوبر محصولات، و عید خیمه‌ها جمع شوند. هر مرد باید هدیه‌ای با خود بیاورد.

¹⁶Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Yahweh your God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tents; and they shall not appear before Yahweh empty:

¹⁶ هریک به اندازهٔ توانایی و برکتی که خداوند به او داده است.

¹⁷every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yahweh your God which he has given you.

¹⁷ «برای هر یک از طایفه‌هایتان در شهرهایی که خداوند خدایتان به شما می‌دهد، قضات و مأموران را بگمارید تا مردم را عادلانه داوری کنند.

¹⁸You shall make judges and officers in all your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.

¹⁸ در داوری بی‌عدالتی نکنید، طرفداری ننمایید و رشوه نگیرید؛ زیرا رشوه، حتّی چشمان مردم دانا و صادق را کور می‌کند و اشخاص راستگو را دروغگو می‌سازد.

¹⁹You shall not wrest justice: you shall not respect persons; neither shall you take a bribe; for a bribe does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

¹⁹ از عدالت کامل پیروی کنید تا در سرزمینی که خداوند خدایتان به شما می‌دهد، زنده بمانید و مالک آن شوید.

²⁰You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live, and inherit the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

²⁰ «شما نباید ستون چوبی الههٔ اشره را در کنار قربانگاه خداوند خدایتان قرار دهید و نباید هیچ ستون سنگی را برای پرستش برپا کنید. خداوند خدایتان از آن نفرت دارد.

²¹You shall not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the altar of Yahweh your God, which you shall make for yourselves.

²¹ و نباید هیچ ستون سنگی را برای پرستش برپا کنید. خداوند خدایتان از آن نفرت دارد.

²²Neither shall you set yourself up a pillar; which Yahweh your God hates.
