1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

خداوند به موسی فرمود:
2“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
2
«در روز اول ماه اول، خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند را برپا کن.
3You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
3
صندوق پیمان خداوند كه حاوی ده حكم است را در آن بگذار و آن را با پرده بپوشان.
4You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lampstand, and light its lamps.
4
میز را هم با ظروف آن بیاور و در جای مخصوص آن قرار بده. همچنان چراغدان را بیاور و چراغهایش را روشن کن.
5You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

قربانگاه طلایی را برای بُخور خوشبو در مقابل صندوق پیمان بگذار. پردهٔ ورودی خیمه را آویزان کن.
6“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

قربانگاه قربانی سوختنی را پیش دروازهٔ خیمهٔ حضور خداوند بگذار.
7You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.
7
حوض را بین خیمه و قربانگاه قرار بده و آن را از آب پُر کن.
8You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.
8
حیاط گرداگرد خیمه را مرتب کن و پردهٔ دروازهٔ حیاط را آویزان نما.
9“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.
9
«روغن مسح را بگیر و بر همهٔ چیزهایی که در خیمه است بپاش. اثاث و لوازم آن را وقف خداوند کن تا پاک و مقدّس شوند.
10You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.

بر قربانگاه بُخورِ خوشبو و ظروف آن هم روغن مسح را بپاش تا آنها مقدّس باشند.
11You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.

سپس بر حوض و پایهٔ آن روغن مسح را بپاش و آن را وقف کن.
12“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

«سپس هارون و پسرانش را پیش دروازهٔ خیمهٔ حضور خداوند آورده آنها را غسل بده.
13You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
13
لباس مقدّس را به تن هارون کن و او را مسح نما تا برای وظیفهٔ کهانت پاک و مقدّس شود.
14You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.
14
بعد پسرانش را هم آورده پیراهنهایشان را به آنها بپوشان.
15You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

آنها را هم مسح کن همانطور که پدرشان را مسح کردی؛ تا بتوانند به عنوان کاهن مرا خدمت نمایند. مسح آنها برای همیشه بوده و به منزلهٔ انتخاب دایمی ایشان و نسلهای ایشان به مقام کهانت خواهد بود.»
16Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did.

موسی همهٔ آنچه را که خداوند فرموده بود تماماً انجام داد.
17It happened in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was raised up.

در روز اول ماه اول سال دوم که از مصر بیرون آمدند، خیمهٔ مقدّس خداوند برپا گردید.
18Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.
18
تختهها را بر پایهها قرار داد و ستونهایش را نصب کرد.
19He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

پوشش را به روی خیمه گسترانید و پوشش دیگر را روی آن انداخت. همانطور که خداوند به موسی دستور داده بود.
20He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.

دو لوحهٔ سنگی را که احکام دهگانهٔ خداوند بر آنها نوشته شده بودند در صندوق قرار داد. میلهها را در حلقههای صندوق جا داد و سرپوش را بالای صندوق گذاشت.
21He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

صندوق را به داخل خیمه آورد و پرده را جلوی آن آویزان نمود. همانطور که خداوند فرموده بود.
22He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.

سپس میز را در قسمت شمالی خیمه بیرون پرده گذاشت.
23He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
23
و نان مقدّس را روی میز به حضور خداوند تقدیم کرد. همانطور که خداوند به موسی امر فرموده بود.
24He put the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

آنگاه چراغدان را در خیمهٔ حضور خداوند آورد و در مقابل میز در قسمت جنوب خیمه گذاشت.
25He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
25
چراغها را در حضور خداوند روشن نمود. چنانکه خداوند به موسی امر فرموده بود.
26He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

قربانگاه طلایی را در خیمهٔ حضور خداوند، مقابل پرده گذاشت.
27and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
27
بُخور خوشبویی را بر روی آن دود کرد. همانطور که خداوند به موسی امر فرموده بود.
28He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
28
پردهٔ دروازهٔ ورودی خیمه را آویزان کرد.
29He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
29
قربانگاه قربانی سوختنی را جلوی دروازهٔ خیمه گذاشت و قربانی سوختنی و هدیهٔ غلاّت را به حضور خداوند تقدیم کرد. طبق دستوری که خداوند به موسی داده بود.
30He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

سپس حوض را بین خیمهٔ و قربانگاه قرار داد و آن را برای شستوشو از آب پُر کرد.
31Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.
31
موسی، هارون و پسرانش دست و پای خود را شستند.
32When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
32
هرگاه آنها به خیمه و یا نزد قربانگاه میرفتند شستوشو میکردند. همانطور که خداوند به موسی امر فرموده بود.
33He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
33
بعد حیاط گرداگرد خیمه و قربانگاه را محصور کرد و پردهٔ دروازهٔ ورودی را آویزان نمود. به این ترتیب موسی تمام کارها را به پایان رسانید.
34Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Yahweh filled the tabernacle.

آنگاه ابری خیمهٔ حضور خداوند را پوشاند و جلال خداوند خیمه را پُر کرد.
35Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.
35
و موسی نتوانست به خیمهٔ حضور خداوند داخل شود، زیرا ابر بر آن قرار گرفته و جلال خداوند آن را پُر ساخته بود.
36When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;

هرگاه که ابر از بالای خیمه برمیخاست، بنیاسرائیل به راه خود ادامه میدادند و آن را تعقیب میکردند.
37but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.
37
اگر ابر حرکت نمیکرد، مردم هم حرکت نمیکردند.
در تمامی دوران آوارگی، قوم در طول روز ابر خداوند را بالای خیمه، و در طول شب آن را به صورت شعلهٔ آتش مشاهده میکردند.
38For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

در تمامی دوران آوارگی، قوم در طول روز ابر خداوند را بالای خیمه، و در طول شب آن را به صورت شعلهٔ آتش مشاهده میکردند.
