¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ خداوند به موسی

²“This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,

² در مورد کسی‌که جذام او شفا یافته است این دستورات را داد: در روزی که او پاک اعلام می‌گردد، باید او را نزد کاهن ببرند.

³and the priest shall go forth out of the camp. The priest shall examine him, and behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

³ کاهن باید برای معاینه او از اردوگاه بیرون برود. هرگاه دید که او از مرض شفا یافته است،

⁴then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

⁴ دستور بدهد که دو پرندهٔ پاک، یک تکه چوب سرو، ریسمان قرمز و چند شاخهٔ زوفا برای مراسم تطهیر بیاورد.

⁵The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

⁵ سپس کاهن دستور دهد که یکی از پرنده‌ها را در بالای ظرف سفالی که آب تازهٔ چشمه در آن است، بکشند.

⁶As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.

⁶ آنگاه کاهن باید پرندهٔ دیگر را به همراه چوب سرو، ریسمان قرمز و شاخه‌های زوفا در خون پرنده‌ای که کشته شده بود فرو کند.

⁷He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

⁷ و کاهن خون آن را هفت بار بر شخصی که از جذام شفا یافته است، بپاشد و او را پاک اعلام نماید. بعد پرندهٔ زنده را در صحرا آزاد کند.

⁸“He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

⁸ شخصی که شفا یافته است، لباس خود را بشوید و تمام موهای خود را بتراشد و در آب غسل کند، تا پاک گردد. بعد از آن می‌تواند به اردوگاه داخل شود، امّا به مدّت هفت روز، در بیرون چادر خود بماند.

⁹It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.

⁹ در روز هفتم موهای سر، ریش، ابروان و تمام بدن خود را بتراشد، لباس خود را بشوید و در آب غسل کند، آن وقت پاک می‌شود.

¹⁰“On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

¹⁰ در روز هشتم باید دو برّهٔ نر و یک برّهٔ مادهٔ یک ساله را که سالم و بی‌عیب باشند همراه با سه کیلو آرد مرغوب مخلوط با روغن زیتون و یک سوم لیتر روغن زیتون، پیش کاهن بیاورد.

¹¹The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

¹¹ کاهنی که مراسم تطهیر را انجام می‌دهد، آن شخص و هدیهٔ او را جلوی دروازهٔ خیمهٔ مقدّس به حضور خداوند بیاورد.

¹²“The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

¹² کاهن یک برّه نر را با یک سوم لیتر روغن زیتون بگیرد و به عنوان قربانی جبران خطا در حضور خداوند تکان دهد و تقدیم نماید. این قربانی، هدیه مخصوصی است که به کاهن تعلّق می‌‌گیرد.

¹³He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.

¹³ برّه را در جای مقدّس که قربانی گناه و قربانی سوختنی را سر می‌بُرند، بکشد؛ زیرا این قربانی بسیار مقدّس است و مانند قربانی گناه، به کاهن تعلّق دارد.

¹⁴The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

¹⁴ بعد کاهن کمی از خون قربانی جبران گناه را به نرمهٔ گوش، شصت دست راست و شصت پای راست او بمالد.

¹⁵The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.

¹⁵ سپس قدری از روغن زیتون را در کف دست چپ خود بریزد.

¹⁶The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.

¹⁶ انگشت دست راست خود را در آن فرو برد و روغن را هفت مرتبه به حضور خداوند بپاشد.

¹⁷The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.

¹⁷ بعد کمی از روغن کف دست خود را به نرمه گوش راست، شصت دست راست و شصت پای راست آن شخص بمالد.

¹⁸The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.

¹⁸ باقیماندهٔ روغنِ کف دست خود را بر سر او بمالد تا مراسم تطهیر انجام شود و گناه او در حضور خداوند کفّاره شود.

¹⁹“The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;

¹⁹ آنگاه کاهن باید قربانی گناه را تقدیم کند و مراسم تطهیر را بجا آورد و سپس قربانی سوختنی را سر ببرد.

²⁰and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

²⁰ بعد از آن کاهن باید قربانی سوختنی را با هدیهٔ آردی بر قربانگاه تقدیم نماید. به این ترتیب کاهن برای گناه او کفّاره می‌کند و آن شخص پاک می‌شود.

²¹“If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;

²¹ امّا اگر آن شخص تنگدست باشد و نتواند دو برّه را قربانی کند، می‌تواند برای مراسم تطهیر خود تنها یک برّهٔ نر را جهت قربانی جبران خطا و یک کیلو آرد مرغوب را که مخلوط با روغن زیتون باشد به عنوان هدیهٔ آردی با یک سوم لیتر روغن زیتون بیاورد.

²²and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

²² همچنان دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر یکی را برای قربانی گناه و دیگری را برای قربانی سوختنی بیاورد.

²³“On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.

²³ در روز هشتم آنها را به جلوی دروازهٔ خیمهٔ مقدّس پیش کاهن ببرد تا برای تطهیر او به حضور خداوند تقدیم کند.

²⁴The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

²⁴ کاهن، برّه و روغن زیتون را به عنوان قربانی جبران خطا به حضور خداوند تکان بدهد.

²⁵He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

²⁵ برّه را برای قربانی جبران خطا بگذراند و کمی از خون آن را به نرمهٔ گوش راست، شصت دست راست و شصت پای راست آن شخص بمالد.

²⁶The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;

²⁶ قدری از آن خون را در کف دست چپ خود بریزد و

²⁷and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.

²⁷ با انگشت دست راست خود کمی از آن روغن زیتون را هفت مرتبه به حضور خداوند بپاشد.

²⁸Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.

²⁸ بعد کاهن قدری از روغن زیتون کف دست خود را به نرمهٔ گوش راست، شصت دست راست و شصت پای راست آن شخص بمالد.

²⁹The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.

²⁹ روغن باقیماندهٔ کف دست خود را بر سر آن شخص بریزد و به این ترتیب مراسم تطهیر انجام می‌شود.

³⁰He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford,

³⁰ بعد دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر را گرفته،

³¹even such as he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”

³¹ یکی را برای قربانی گناه و دیگری را به عنوان قربانی سوختنی همراه با هدیهٔ آردی به حضور خداوند تقدیم کند تا مراسم تطهیر بجا آورده شود و گناه آن شخص را کفّاره کند.

³²This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.

³² این است مقرّرات تطهیر برای شخص تنگدستی که از مرض جزام شفا یافته است، انجام شود.

³³Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

³³ خداوند به موسی و هارون، قوانین زیر را در مورد خانه‌ای که کپک زده است، داد. (شروع اعتبار این قوانین از زمانی خواهد بود که قوم اسرائیل به سرزمین کنعان وارد شده باشند، سرزمینی که خداوند به قوم برای مالکیّت خواهد بخشید.) اگر کسی متوجّه شود که خداوند کَپَک را به آن خانه‌ فرستاده است، آن شخص باید این موضوع را به کاهن خبر دهد.

³⁴“When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,

³⁴ پیش از آن که کاهن برای معاینه، داخل آن خانه شود باید امر کند که خانه را تخلیه نمایند تا چیزهایی که در آن خانه هستند ناپاک اعلام نشوند. بعد کاهن به داخل خانه برود

³⁵then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’

³⁵ و کپک را معاینه کند. اگر در دیوار خانه لکه‌های سبز رنگ یا سرخ رنگ دیده شوند و عمیقتر از سطح دیوار باشند،

³⁶The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.

³⁶ کاهن باید از آنجا خارج شود و درِ خانه را به مدّت هفت روز ببندد.

³⁷He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall;

³⁷ در روز هفتم کاهن باید دوباره برای معاینه به آن خانه برود و اگر دید که لکه‌ها در دیوار پخش شده‌اند،

³⁸then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.

³⁸ آنگاه دستور دهد که قسمتی از دیوار را که دارای کَپَک است، بکنند و سنگهای آن را در جای ناپاکی در خارج شهر بیندازند.

³⁹The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,

³⁹ سپس دستور بدهد تا دیوارهای داخل خانه را بتراشند و گچ و خاک و گل آنها را در محلی ناپاک در بیرون شهر بیندازند.

⁴⁰then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city:

⁴⁰ بعد سنگهای دیگر را به جای سنگهای کنده شده قرار دهند و دیوار را دوباره گچ بگیرند.

⁴¹and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scraped off, outside of the city into an unclean place.

⁴¹ امّا اگر کَپَک‌ها بعد از آن که دیوار دوباره گچ‌کاری شد، باز نمایان گردیدند،

⁴²They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.

⁴² کاهن باید دوباره بیاید و نگاه کند، اگر دید که لکه‌ها پخش شده‌اند، پس آن خانه کپک زده و ناپاک است.

⁴³“If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered;

⁴³ آن‌ وقت باید خانه را ویران کنند و تمام سنگ، چوب و خاک آن به خارج شهر برده شود و در یک‌‌جای ناپاک بیندازند.

⁴⁴then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.

⁴⁴ هنگامی‌که در خانه بسته است، اگر کسی وارد خانه شود، تا غروب ناپاک است.

⁴⁵He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

⁴⁵ هرکسی که در آن خانه بخوابد و یا چیزی بخورد، باید لباس خود را بشوید.

⁴⁶“Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.

⁴⁶ ولی بعد از آن که دیوار خانه را گچ‌کاری کردند و کاهن آن را معاینه کرد و دید که لکه‌ها در دیوار منتشر نشده، خانه را پاک اعلام کند، زیرا مرض برطرف شده است.

⁴⁷He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

⁴⁷ برای تطهیر خانه باید دو پرنده را همراه با چوب سرو و ریسمان قرمز و چند شاخهٔ زوفا بیاورند.

⁴⁸“If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

⁴⁸ یکی از پرندگان را بالای کاسهٔ گِلی حاوی آب تازهٔ چشمه، بکشند

⁴⁹To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

⁴⁹ بعد پرندهٔ زنده را با چوب سرو، ریسمان قرمز و شاخه‌های زوفا در خون پرنده‌ای که بالای آب روان کشته شد، فرو کند و هفت بار بر آن خانه بپاشد.

⁵⁰He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

⁵⁰ به این طریق آن خانه با خون پرنده، آب روان، پرندهٔ زنده، چوب سرو، شاخه‌های زوفا و ریسمان قرمز پاک می‌شود.

⁵¹He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

⁵¹ سپس پرندهٔ زنده را بیرون شهر ببرد و در صحرا آزاد کند تا مراسم تطهیر بجا آورده شود و آن خانه پاک گردد.

⁵²He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;

⁵² این است مقرّرات مربوط به جذام

⁵³but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”

⁵³ که در پوست بدن و زخمها و دملها یا التهاب و یا کپک که در لباس و یا خانه می‌باشد. توسط این قوانین شما قادر خواهید بود پاکی یا ناپاکی چیزی را تشخیص دهید.

⁵⁴This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,

⁵⁴ توسط این قوانین شما قادر خواهید بود پاکی یا ناپاکی چیزی را تشخیص دهید.

⁵⁵and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,

⁵⁶and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;

⁵⁷to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
