1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

خداوند به موسی و هارون فرمود که این دستورات را به قوم اسرائیل بدهند: «اگر از بدن مردی مایعی خارج شود، آن مایع ناپاک است.
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he is unclean.

این مایع خواه جاری باشد خواه متوقّف گردد، در هر صورت ناپاک است.
3This shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped from his discharge, it is his uncleanness.

هر بستری که آن مرد در آن بخوابد و روی هر چیزی که بنشیند، ناپاک میشود.
4“‘Every bed whereon he who has the discharge lies shall be unclean; and everything he sits on shall be unclean.

هرکسی که به بستر او دست بزند
5Whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

یا روی چیزی که او نشسته است، بنشیند تا شامگاه ناپاک خواهد بود و باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند.
6He who sits on anything whereon the man who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

و هرکسی که به آن مرد دست بزند، تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود و باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند.
7“‘He who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

بر هرکسی که آب دهان بیندازد آن شخص تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود و باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند.
8“‘If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

بر هر زینی که بنشیند آن زین ناپاک میشود.
9“‘Whatever saddle he who has the discharge rides on shall be unclean.

اگر شخصی بر چیزی که آن مرد نشسته است، دست بزند تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود و کسیکه آن چیز را حمل کند، تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود و باید لباس خود را بشوید.
10Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening. He who carries those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

اگر آن مردِ ناپاک با دستهای نشسته به کسی دست بزند، آن کس تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود و باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند.
11“‘Whoever he who has the discharge touches, without having rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

هرگاه آن مرد به یک ظرف گِلی دست بزند، آن ظرف را باید شکست و اگر ظرف چوبی باشد باید با آب شسته شود.
12“‘The earthen vessel, which he who has the discharge touches, shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

«وقتی جریان مایع از بدن آن مرد قطع شد، باید تا هفت روز صبر کند. بعد با آبِ پاکِ چشمه، لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند و آنگاه پاک میشود.
13“‘When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

در روز هشتم دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر را به جلوی در ورودی خیمهٔ مقدّس بیاورد و به کاهن بدهد.
14“‘On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before Yahweh to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest:

کاهن یکی از پرندهها را برای قربانی گناه و دیگری را به عنوان قربانی سوختنی تقدیم کند و به این ترتیب کاهن در حضور خداوند برای آن مرد که مایع از بدنش جاری بود، کفّاره میکند.
15and the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. The priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh for his discharge.

«هرگاه از مردی آب منی خارج شود، تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود و باید تمام بدنش را در آب بشوید.
16“‘If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.

هر پارچهٔ نخی یا چرمی که مَنی بر آن ریخته باشد، باید با آب شسته شود و آن پارچه تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود.
17Every garment, and every skin, whereon the semen is, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening.

هرگاه زن و مردی با هم نزدیکی کنند، هردوی آنها باید غسل کنند و تا غروب ناپاک خواهند بود.
18If a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the evening.

«زنی که عادت ماهانه داشته باشد، به مدّت هفت روز ناپاک خواهد بود. هرکسی که به آن زن دست بزند، تا غروب ناپاک خواهد ماند.
19“‘If a woman has a discharge, and her discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her impurity seven days: and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.

آن زن در دوران عادت ماهانه خود، بر هر چیزی که بخوابد و یا بنشیند، آن چیز ناپاک میشود.
20“‘Everything that she lies on in her impurity shall be unclean. Everything also that she sits on shall be unclean.

هرکسی که به بستر آن زن دست بزند، باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند و تا غروب ناپاک خواهد بود.
21Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

هرکسی که به بستر آن زن و یا به چیزی که آن زن روی آن نشسته باشد، دست بزند، تا شام ناپاک خواهد بود و باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند.
22Whoever touches anything that she sits on shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

اگر مردی با زنی در دوران عادت ماهانه با او همبستر شود، به مدّت هفت روز ناپاک خواهد بود و هر بستری که او در آن بخوابد ناپاک است.
23If it is on the bed, or on anything whereon she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the evening.

«اگر زنی خونریزی غیرعادی داشته باشد و یا خون ریزیاش بعد از دوران عادت ماهانه او همچنان ادامه پیدا کند، آن زن تا زمانی که خونریزیاش قطع شود مثل زمان عادت ماهانهٔ خود، ناپاک باقی میماند.
24“‘If any man lies with her, and her monthly flow is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed whereon he lies shall be unclean.

در آن دوران بر هر چیزی که بخوابد یا بنشیند، آن چیز ناپاک میشود.
25“‘If a woman has a discharge of her blood many days not in the time of her period, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her period; all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness shall be as in the days of her period: she is unclean.

و هرکسی که به آن چیزها دست بزند، ناپاک میشود. او باید لباس خود را بشوید و غسل کند و تا شامگاه ناپاک خواهد بود.
26Every bed whereon she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her period: and everything whereon she sits shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her period.

بعد از آنکه خونریزی وی قطع شد، آن زن باید تا هفت روز صبر کند، آن وقت پاک میشود.
27Whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

در روز هشتم، آن زن باید دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر را به در ورودی خیمهٔ مقدّس برده، به کاهن بدهد.
28“‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

کاهن باید یکی از آنها را جهت قربانی گناه و دیگری را به عنوان قربانی سوختنی تقدیم نماید و به این طریق به حضور خداوند، برای نجاست عادت ماهانهٔ آن زن، کفّاره میکند.»
29On the eighth day she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting.

خداوند به موسی گفت که به قوم اسرائیل در مورد ناپاکیاش هشدار دهد تا مبادا خیمهٔ مقدّس را که در وسط اردوگاه بود، آلوده سازند. اگر چنین میکردند، کشته میشدند.
30The priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her before Yahweh for the uncleanness of her discharge.

«این است مقرّرات برای مردی که مایعات و یا منی از او خارج شود.
و همچنین زنی که عادت ماهانه دارد یا مردی که با او همبستر میشود.»
31“‘Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, so they will not die in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is in their midst.’”

و همچنین زنی که عادت ماهانه دارد یا مردی که با او همبستر میشود.»
32This is the law of him who has a discharge, and of him who has an emission of semen, so that he is unclean thereby;
33and of her who has her period, and of a man or woman who has a discharge, and of him who lies with her who is unclean.
