¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹ خداوند به موسی فرمود:

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,

² به قوم اسرائیل بگو وقتی به سرزمینی که به ایشان خواهم داد رسیدند، این مقرّرات را رعایت کنند:

³and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock;

³ هرگاه بخواهند قربانی سوختنی، یا هر قربانی دیگری که بر آتش تقدیم می‌شود و خداوند آن را می‌پسندد، بیاورند. قربانی باید گاو، قوچ، گوسفند یا بُز باشد. آن قربانی، خواه قربانی سوختنی، خواه نذری، خواه دلخواه، و یا قربانی مخصوص یکی از عیدها باشد، در هر صورت باید با هدیهٔ آردی تقدیم شود. اگر کسی بخواهد که برّه‌ای را قربانی کند، باید همراه آن یک کیلو آرد مرغوب، مخلوط با یک لیتر روغن به عنوان هدیهٔ آردی و یک لیتر شراب به عنوان هدیهٔ نوشیدنی تقدیم کند.

⁴then he who offers his offering shall offer to Yahweh a meal offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of oil:

⁴ هرگاه بخواهد یک قوچ را قربانی کند، همراه آن باید دو کیلو آرد مرغوب مخلوط با یک و نیم لیتر روغن به عنوان هدیهٔ آردی و همچنین یک و نیم لیتر شراب به عنوان هدیهٔ نوشیدنی تقدیم کند. این نوع قربانی خداوند را راضی می‌کند.

⁵and wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

⁵ اگر کسی بخواهد، یک گاو را برای قربانی نذری یا سلامتی بیاورد، همراه آن باید سه کیلو آرد مرغوب، مخلوط با دو لیتر روغن به عنوان هدیهٔ آردی و نیز دو لیتر شراب به عنوان هدیهٔ نوشیدنی تقدیم کند. بوی این قربانی که بر آتش به خداوند هدیه می‌شود برای او خوشایند است.

⁶“‘Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin of oil:

⁶ این چیزهایی است که باید همراه هر یک از قربانی‌های گاو، قوچ، برّه یا بُزغاله تقدیم شوند.

⁷and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

⁷ هنگامی‌که، بیش از یک حیوان قربانی می‌شود، هدایای همراه آن، باید به نسبت تعداد حیوانات زیاد شود.

⁸When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Yahweh;

⁸ تمام کسانی‌که بخواهند، قربانی مورد پسند خداوند را بر آتش تقدیم کنند، چه اسرائیلی و چه بیگانگانی که به طور موقّت یا دایمی در میان آنان زندگی می‌کنند، باید از این مقرّرات پیروی کنند.

⁹then shall he offer with the bull a meal offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil:

⁹ این قوانین برای شما و بیگانگانی که در میان شما زندگی می‌کنند، ابدی است. زیرا همه در برابر خداوند یکسان می‌باشند. و یک قانون بر شما و آنها حکم می‌کند.

¹⁰and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁰ خداوند به موسی فرمود:

¹¹Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the young goats.

¹¹ به قوم اسرائیل بگو: «وقتی به سرزمینی که به شما می دهم، رسیدید

¹²According to the number that you shall prepare, so you shall do to everyone according to their number.

¹² هرگاه از محصول زمین بخورید، باید هدیه‌‌ای به خداوند بدهید.

¹³“‘All who are native-born shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹³ هرگاه نان بپزید، باید اولین قرص نان را که از اولین خرمن خود به دست می‌آورید، به عنوان هدیهٔ مخصوص به خداوند تقدیم نمایید.

¹⁴If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; as you do, so he shall do.

¹⁴ این هدیه‌‌ای است دایمی، که همهٔ نسلهای شما در آینده باید آن را انجام دهند.»

¹⁵For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner, a statute forever throughout your generations: as you are, so shall the foreigner be before Yahweh.

¹⁵ هرگاه شما یا نسلهای آینده‌تان، ندانسته از انجام دستوراتی‌ که خداوند به موسی داد، غفلت کنید،

¹⁶One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.’”

¹⁶ و بعد متوجّه اشتباه خود بشوید، آن وقت باید یک گاو را به عنوان قربانی سوختنی تقدیم کنید. تمام جماعت، باید این قربانی را که بویش مورد پسند خداوند است، طبق مقرّرات، همراه هدیهٔ آردی و هدیهٔ نوشیدنی و یک بُز نر جهت قربانی گناه تقدیم کنند.

¹⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁷ کاهن برای تمام قوم اسرائیل کفّاره کند، گناهانشان بخشیده می‌شود، زیرا اشتباه آنان عمدی نبوده است و برای این گناه خود به حضور خداوند قربانی سوختنی و قربانی گناه نیز تقدیم کرده‌اند.

¹⁸“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you,

¹⁸ تمام قوم اسرائیل و بیگانگانی که در میان آنها سکونت دارند، بخشیده می‌شوند، زیرا تمام مردم در این اشتباه شریک بوده‌اند.

¹⁹then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Yahweh.

¹⁹ هرگاه شخصی ندانسته گناهی کند، آن وقت باید یک بُز مادهٔ یک ساله را به عنوان قربانی گناه تقدیم کند

²⁰Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering: as the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.

²⁰ و کاهن در حضور خداوند برایش کفّاره نماید و آن شخص بخشیده می‌شود.

²¹Of the first of your dough you shall give to Yahweh a wave offering throughout your generations.

²¹ این قانون را بیگانگانی هم که در بین شما سکونت دارند، رعایت کنند.

²²“‘When you shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Yahweh has spoken to Moses,

²² امّا اگر کسی عمداً مرتکب گناهی شود، خواه اسرائیلی باشد خواه بیگانه، آن شخص در برابر خداوند، گناه ورزیده است و باید از اجتماع طرد شود،

²³even all that Yahweh has commanded you by Moses, from the day that Yahweh gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;

²³ زیرا او فرمان خداوند را رد نموده، از فرمان او عمداً سرپیچی کرده است. او مسئول عقوبت خود خواهد بود.

²⁴then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, with the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.

²⁴ هنگامی‌که قوم اسرائیل در بیابان بودند، مردی را دیدند که در روز سبت هیزم جمع می‌کند.

²⁵The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh, for their error:

²⁵ آنها او را پیش موسی و هارون و سایر رهبران قوم بردند.

²⁶and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.

²⁶ آنها او را در زندان انداختند، چرا‌ که نمی‌دانستند با او چه کنند.

²⁷“‘If one person sins unwittingly, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.

²⁷ خداوند به موسی فرمود: «سزای این شخص مرگ است. تمام قوم اسرائیل او را در بیرون اردوگاه سنگسار کنند تا بمیرد.»

²⁸The priest shall make atonement for the soul who errs, when he sins unwittingly, before Yahweh, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.

²⁸ پس او را از اردوگاه خارج نموده، طبق فرمان خداوند سنگسار کردند.

²⁹You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.

²⁹ خداوند به موسی فرمود: «به قوم اسرائیل بگو که بر گوشه‌ها‌ی لباسهای خود منگوله‌‌هایی بسازند و آنها را با نخهای آبی وصل کنند.

³⁰“‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

³⁰ منگوله‌‌ها نقش یادآوری را به عهده خواهند داشت، هرگاه شما به آنها بنگرید، تمامی فرامین مرا به ‌خاطر آورده، اطاعت خواهید نمود و از خواهشهای نفسانی خود پیروی نخواهید کرد.

³¹Because he has despised the word of Yahweh, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.’”

³¹ پس شما، همهٔ فرمانهای مرا به یاد بیاورید و آنها را انجام دهید و برای خداوند خود، مقدّس باشید. من شما را از سرزمین مصر بیرون آوردم. آری، من خداوند خدای شما هستم.»

³²While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.

³² من شما را از سرزمین مصر بیرون آوردم. آری، من خداوند خدای شما هستم.»

³³Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.

³⁴They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

³⁵Yahweh said to Moses, “The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”

³⁶All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

³⁸“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them that they should make themselves fringes or, tassels (Hebrew tzitzit) in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe or, tassel of each border a cord of blue:

³⁹and it shall be to you for a fringe or, tassel , that you may look on it, and remember all the commandments of Yahweh, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;

⁴⁰that you may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.

⁴¹I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Yahweh your God.”
