1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

خداوند به موسی و هارون فرمود:
2“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,

«از طایفهٔ لاویان، خاندان قهات را با فامیلهایشان سرشماری کن.
3from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
3
مردان سی ساله تا پنجاه سالهای که میتوانند در خیمهٔ اجتماع خدمت کنند.
4“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, the most holy things.
4
خدمات آنها مربوط به امور بسیار مقدّس است.»
5When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the Testimony with it,

خداوند به موسی چنین امر فرمود: هنگام کوچ اردو، هارون و پسرانش باید وارد خیمهٔ عبادت شوند. پرده را پایین بیاورند و صندوق پیمان را با آن بپوشانند.
6and shall put a covering of sealskin on it, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles.

بالای پرده، پوست بُز را بیندازند و سپس آن را با پارچهٔ ارغوانی، بپوشانند و میلههای حامل صندوق را در حلقههای آن قرار دهند.
7“On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.

بعد روی میزی را که نان مقدّس روی آن گذاشته میشود، با پارچهٔ ارغوانی بپوشانند و بشقابها، قاشقها، کاسهها، پیالهها و نان مقدّس را، بر آن قرار دهند.
8They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.

آنگاه پارچهٔ قرمزی را، بر روی آنها بیندازند و روی پارچهٔ قرمز را، با پوست بُز بپوشانند و میلههای حامل میز را، در حلقهها قرار دهند.
9“They shall take a blue cloth, and cover the lampstand of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.

سپس چراغدانها، چراغها، آتشگیرها، انبرها، سینیها و ظرفهای روغن زیتون را با پارچههای ارغوانی، بپوشانند.
10They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.

همهٔ این وسایل را در پوست بُز بپیچند و بالای چهارچوب حامل بگذارند.
11“On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.

بعد پارچهٔ ارغوانی را، بر روی قربانگاه طلایی بیندازند و آن را با پوست بُز بپوشانند و میلههای حامل را در حلقههای قربانگاه قرار دهند.
12“They shall take all the vessels of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.

تمام وسایل و لوازم دیگر مکان مقدّس را در پارچهٔ ارغوانی بپیچند و آن را با پوست بُز بپوشانند و روی چهارچوب حامل بگذارند.
13“They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.

بعد خاکستر قربانگاه را خالی کنند و بر روی قربانگاه پارچهٔ ارغوانی بیندازند.
14They shall put on it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the shovels, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.

آنگاه همهٔ وسایل قربانگاه را از قبیل منقلها، چنگکها، خاکاندازها، کاسهها و ظروف دیگر را، بر روی پارچه قرار دهند و آنها را با پوست بُز بپوشانند و میلههای حامل را در جاهایشان قرار دهند.
15“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting.

هنگامیکه هارون و پسرانش، خیمهٔ عبادت و وسایل آن را جمع کردند و اردو آماده حرکت شد، خاندان قهاتیان باید برای بردن آنها بیایند، ولی حق ندارند که به آن چیزهای مقدّس دست بزنند، مبادا کشته شوند.
این بود وظایف خاندان قهات در مورد حمل لوازم خیمهٔ عبادت.
16“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”

العازار، پسر هارون باید مسئول نظارت بر خیمهٔ عبادت و تهیّهٔ روغن برای چراغها، بُخور خوشبو، هدیهٔ آردی، روغن مسح و وسایل خیمه باشد.
17Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
17
خداوند به موسی و هارون فرمود:
18“Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
18
«شما نباید بگذارید که خاندان قهات با دست زدن به اشیای مقدّس از بین بروند.
19but thus do to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach to the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them everyone to his service and to his burden;
19
برای جلوگیری از آن، هارون و پسرانش باید با آنها وارد خیمهٔ عبادت شوند و وظیفهٔ هرکدامشان را تعیین کنند.
20but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”
20
امّا اگر آنها، حتّی برای یک لحظه هم به داخل خیمه بروند و به چیزهای مقدّس نگاه کنند، خواهند مرد.»
21Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
21
خداوند به موسی فرمود: «تمام مردان سی ساله تا پنجاه سالهٔ خاندان جرشون از طایفهٔ لاوی را که بتوانند در خیمهٔ عبادت خدمت کنند، سرشماری کن.
22“Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ houses, by their families;

آنها را به این وظایف بگمار:
23you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old; all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

حمل خیمه، پوششهای داخلی و خارجی آن، پوشش پوست بُز، پردهٔ در ورودی،
24“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
24
حمل پردهها و طنابهای دیوار حیاط و پردهٔ در ورودی حیاطی که در اطراف قربانگاه و خیمهٔ عبادت است و دیگر وسایل مربوط به خیمه.
25they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above on it, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

وظایف مردان خاندان جرشون زیر نظر هارون و پسرانش تعیین و انجام خواهد شد.
26and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. Therein shall they serve.

ایتامار، پسر هارون، باید بر وظایف خاندان جرشونیان نظارت نماید.»
27At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.
27
خداوند به موسی فرمود: «تمام مردان سی ساله تا پنجاه سالهٔ خاندان مراری را که بتوانند در خیمهٔ عبادت خدمت کنند، سرشماری کن.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting: and their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

آنها مسئول حمل و نقل چهارچوب، میلهها، ستونها و پایهها،
29“As for the sons of Merari, you shall number them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;
29
ستونهای اطراف حیاط و پایههای آنها، میخها، طنابها و دیگر اجزای خیمه میباشند.
30you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
30
این بود وظیفهٔ مردان خاندان مراری که آنها هم باید تحت نظر ایتامار، پسر هارون خدمت کنند.»
31This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,

پس موسی و هارون، با کمک رهبران قوم اسرائیل، مردان خاندان قهات را سرشماری کردند.
32and the pillars of the court around it, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name you shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden.
32
تعداد مردان سی ساله تا پنجاه ساله که میتوانستند در خیمهٔ عبادت خدمت کنند، دو هزار و هفتصد و پنجاه نفر بود.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”

این سرشماری طبق امر خداوند به موسی انجام شد.
34Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,

تعداد مردان سی ساله تا پنجاه سالهٔ خاندان جرشون، دو هزار و ششصد و سی نفر
35from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting.
35
و مردان خاندان مراری، سه هزار و دویست نفر بود.
36Those who were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.
36
به این ترتیب، موسی و هارون به اتّفاق رهبران قوم اسرائیل، مردان سه خاندان طایفهٔ لاوی را سرشماری کردند و مجموع مردان سی ساله تا پنجاه ساله که شایستگی کار در خیمهٔ عبادت را داشتند، هشت هزار و پانصد و هشتاد نفر بود.
این سرشماری مطابق دستور خداوند به موسی انجام شد.
37These are those who were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

38Those who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
39from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,
40even those who were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.
41These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh.
42Those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
43from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,
44even those who were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.
45These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
46All those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
47from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,
48even those who were numbered of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49According to the commandment of Yahweh they were numbered by Moses, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they numbered by him, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
