¹I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!”

¹ آنگاه از معبد صدای بلندی شنیدم و آن صدا به هفت فرشته گفت: «بروید و هفت جام خشم خدا را به زمین بریزید.»

²The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and evil sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

² پس فرشتهٔ نخست رفت و جام خود را بر زمین ریخت و زخمهای دردناک و بد نمایی بر بدن مردمانی كه نشان حیوان وحشی را به خود داشتند و پیكره‌اش را می‌پرستیدند، پدیدار گشت.

³The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man. Every living thing in the sea died.

³ فرشتهٔ دوم جام خود را به دریا ریخت و دریا به خونی مثل خون نعش مبدّل شد و همهٔ جانداران دریا مردند.

⁴The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

⁴ فرشتهٔ سوم جام خود را بر رودها و چشمه‌‌ها ریخت و آنها به خون مبدّل گشتند.

⁵I heard the angel of the waters saying, “You are righteous, who are and who were, you Holy One, because you have judged these things.

⁵ آنگاه شنیدم كه فرشتهٔ حافظ آبها می‌گفت: «تو در داروی‌های خویش عادل هستی، تویی آن قدّوس كه هستی و بوده‌ای،

⁶For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”

⁶ زیرا آنان خون مقدّسین و خون انبیا را ریختند و تو به آنان خون داده‌ای تا بنوشند، زیرا مستحقّ آنند.»

⁷I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”

⁷ و شنیدم از قربانگاه ندایی آمد كه می‌گفت: «آری ای خداوند! خدای قادر مطلق، چقدر راست و عادلانه است داوری‌های تو!»

⁸The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire.

⁸ فرشتهٔ چهارم جام خود را بر خورشید ریخت و آن اجازه یافت با گرمای خود آدمیان را بسوزاند.

⁹People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn’t repent and give him glory.

⁹ مردم چنان از شدّت حرارت خورشید سوختند كه به خدایی كه چنین بلایایی را در اختیار دارد، كفر می‌گفتند و حاضر نبودند از کارهای خود توبه نموده، خدا را تمجید نمایند.

¹⁰The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,

¹⁰ فرشتهٔ پنجم جام خود را بر روی تخت حیوان وحشی ریخت و سلطنت او به تاریكی فرو رفت. آدمیان از درد و رنج، زبانهایشان را می‌گزیدند

¹¹and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They didn’t repent of their works.

¹¹ و به خدای آسمان به‌خاطر دردها و زخمهای خویش كفر می‌گفتند و از کارهای خود توبه نمی‌کردند.

¹²The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings that come from the sunrise.

¹² فرشتهٔ ششم جام خود را بر رود بزرگ فرات ریخت و آبش خشک شد تا راه برای آمدن شاهان مشرق زمین باز باشد.

¹³I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;

¹³ آنگاه دیدم كه از دهان اژدها و از دهان حیوان وحشی و از دهان آن نبی دروغین سه روح پلید مانند سه قورباغه بیرون آمد.

¹⁴for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.

¹⁴ این ارواح، دیوهایی هستند كه قدرت انجام معجزات نیز دارند. آنها به سرتاسر جهان می‌روند تا پادشاهان تمام جهان را برای نبرد روز بزرگ خدای قادر مطلق جمع كنند.

¹⁵ “Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn’t walk naked, and they see his shame.”

¹⁵ «توجّه كنید! من مثل یک دزد می‌آیم! خوشا به حال کسی‌که آماده باشد و لباس خود را نگاه دارد تا مجبور نشود عریان و شرمنده در جلوی چشم همه راه برود!»

¹⁶He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, Megiddo.

¹⁶ پس شیاطین، پادشاهان را در جایی‌که به عبرانی حار مجدون خوانده می‌شود، جمع كردند.

¹⁷The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came forth out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

¹⁷ آنگاه فرشتهٔ هفتم جام خود را بر هوا ریخت و از معبد و از تخت، صدای بلندی شنیده شد كه می‌گفت: «همه‌چیز تمام شد.»

¹⁸There were lightnings, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men on the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

¹⁸ و رعد و برق و صداهای مهیب شنیده شد و زمین‌لرزهٔ شدیدی رخ داد كه مانند آن در تاریخ بشر هرگز دیده نشده بود.

¹⁹The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

¹⁹ شهر بزرگ سه پاره شد. شهرهای جهان ویران شدند و خدا کارهای بابل بزرگ را نادیده نگرفت، بلكه او را مجبور كرد جامی را كه از شراب آتشین خشم و غضب او پر بود، بنوشد.

²⁰Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

²⁰ جزیره‌ها همه ناپدید و کوهها محو شدند. دانه‌های تگرگ بسیار بزرگ به وزن چهل و پنج کیلوگرم از آسمان بر سر آدمیان بارید و مردم به‌خاطر این تگرگ خدا را كفر می‌گفتند، زیرا این بلایی بسیار وحشتناک بود.

²¹Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, 1 talent is about 34 kilograms or 75 pounds came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.

²¹ دانه‌های تگرگ بسیار بزرگ به وزن چهل و پنج کیلوگرم از آسمان بر سر آدمیان بارید و مردم به‌خاطر این تگرگ خدا را كفر می‌گفتند، زیرا این بلایی بسیار وحشتناک بود.
