¹He showed me a TR adds “pure” river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

¹ آنگاه آن فرشته، رودخانهٔ آب حیات را كه مثل بلور برق می‌زد به من نشان داد. آن رودخانه از تخت خدا و برّه سرچشمه گرفته

²in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

² و از وسط خیابان شهر می‌گذشت. در هر طرف رودخانه یک درخت حیات بود كه سالی دوازده بار میوه می‌آورد، هر ماه یک‌بار از برگ این درختان برای درمان درد ملل استفاده می‌شد.

³There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.

³ دیگر چیزی كه ملعون شده باشد در آن یافت نخواهد شد. تخت خدا و برّه در آنجا خواهد بود و بندگانش او را عبادت خواهند نمود.

⁴They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

⁴ همه او را روبه‌رو خواهند دید و نام او را بر پیشانی‌های خود خواهند داشت.

⁵There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

⁵ دیگر شبی نخواهد بود و آنان به نور چراغ و خورشید نیاز نخواهند داشت، زیرا خداوند خدا، نور ایشان خواهد بود و آنها تا به ابد فرمانروایی خواهند كرد.

⁶He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”

⁶ سپس آن فرشته به من گفت: «این سخنان راست و قابل اعتماد است. خداوند خدا كه به انبیا روح نبوّت را می‌بخشد، فرشتهٔ خود را فرستاد تا به بندگانش آنچه را كه بزودی اتّفاق خواهد افتاد، نشان دهد.»

⁷ “Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁷ عیسی می‌گوید: «بدانید! من بزودی می‌آیم. خوشا به حال کسی‌که به پیشگویی‌های این كتاب توجّه كند.»

⁸Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

⁸ من یوحنا، این چیزها را دیدم و شنیدم و همین‌که اینها را دیدم و شنیدم در مقابل آن فرشته‌ای كه این چیزها را به من نشان داده بود به خاک افتاده، سجده كردم.

⁹He said to me, “See you don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

⁹ امّا او به من گفت: «نه، چنین نكن! من خادمی هستم مانند تو و برادرانت یعنی انبیا و کسانی‌که به سخنان این كتاب توجّه دارند. فقط خدا را پرستش كن.»

¹⁰He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

¹⁰ سپس به من گفت: «پیشگویی‌های این كتاب را پنهان مكن، زیرا ساعت وقوع این چیزها نزدیک است.

¹¹He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”

¹¹ بگذار آن خطاكار به خطاهای خود و آن مرد فاسد به کارهای شریر خود ادامه دهد و آن مرد نیكو نیز، کارهای نیكوی خود و آن مرد پاک، زندگی پاک خود را ادامه دهد.»

¹² “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

¹² عیسی می‌گوید: «آری، من بزودی می‌آیم و برای هرکس طبق کارهایش پاداشی با خود خواهم آورد.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

¹³ من الف و یاء، اولین و آخرین، آغاز و انجام هستم.»

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, NU reads “wash their robes” instead of “do his commandments”. that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

¹⁴ خوشا به حال کسانی‌که رداهایشان را پاک بشویند. آنان حقّ خوردن از درخت حیات را خواهند داشت و به دروازه‌های شهر وارد خواهند شد،

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁵ امّا سگان و جادوگران و زناكاران و آدمكشان و بت‌پرستان و همهٔ کسانی‌که در قول و فعل دروغگو هستند، در خارج از شهر هستند.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.”

¹⁶ «من عیسی فرشتهٔ خود را پیش شما كه در كلیساها هستید، فرستادم تا این امور را به شما اعلام كند. من ریشه و نهال داوود و ستارهٔ درخشان صبحگاهان هستم.»

¹⁷The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

¹⁷ روح و عروس می‌گویند: «بیا!» هر شنونده‌ای باید بگوید: «بیا!» ای تشنگان بیایید، آب حیات را بپذیرید این بخششی است رایگان برای هرکس كه طالب آن است.

¹⁸I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

¹⁸ من به تمام کسانی‌که پیشگویی‌های این كتاب را می‌شنوند اعلام می‌کنم كه: اگر كسی چیزی بر آنها بیافزاید، خدا بلایایی را كه در این كتاب آمده است، نصیب او خواهد كرد.

¹⁹If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

¹⁹ و اگر كسی از این پیشگویی‌ها چیزی كم كند، خدا او را از درخت حیات و شهر مقدّس كه در این كتاب آمده است، بی‌بهره خواهد ساخت.

²⁰He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

²⁰ کسی‌که همهٔ این چیزها را تصدیق می‌كند، می‌گوید: «آری! من بزودی می‌آیم!» آمین! بیا ای عیسی، ای خداوند! فیض عیسی خداوند با همهٔ شما باد، آمین!

²¹The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
