¹After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.

¹ بعد از این چهار فرشته را دیدم كه در چهار گوشهٔ زمین مستقر شدند و جلوی چهار باد زمین را می‌گرفتند تا دیگر بادی بر دریا و خشكی و یا هیچ درختی نوزد.

²I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,

² و فرشتهٔ دیگری را دیدم كه از مشرق برمی‌‌خاست و مُهر خدای زنده را در دست داشت و با صدای بلند به آن چهار فرشته كه قدرت یافته بودند به خشكی و دریا آسیب رسانند، گفت:

³saying, “Don’t harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!”

³ «تا آن زمان كه ما مُهر خدایمان را بر پیشانی بندگانش نگذاریم، به دریا و خشكی و یا درختان آسیبی نرسانید.»

⁴I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:

⁴ و شنیدم كه تعداد کسانی‌که از همهٔ طایفه‌های بنی‌اسرائیل نشانهٔ مُهر را دریافت داشته بودند یكصد و چهل و چهار هزار بود.

⁵of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,

⁵ دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ یهودا، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ رئوبین، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ جاد،

⁶of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,

⁶ دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ اشیر، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ نفتالی، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ منسی،

⁷of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,

⁷ دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ شمعون، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ لاوی، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ یساكار،

⁸of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

⁸ دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ زبولون، دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ یوسف و دوازده هزار از طایفهٔ بنیامین.

⁹After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

⁹ بعد از این نگاه كردم و گروه كثیری را دیدم كه کسی قادر به شمارش آنها نبود. از همهٔ ملل و همهٔ قبایل و امّتها و زبانها در جلوی تخت و در مقابل برّه ایستاده بودند. آنها لباس سفیدی به تن داشتند و شاخهٔ نخل در دستشان بود

¹⁰They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

¹⁰ و با هم فریاد می‌زدند: «نجات ما از جانب خدایی است كه بر تخت می‌نشیند و از جانب برّه است.»

¹¹All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,

¹¹ و همهٔ فرشتگانی كه در پیرامون تخت بودند، همراه با پیران و آن چهار حیوان در جلوی تخت، چهره بر زمین نهاده و خدا را عبادت كردند.

¹²saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

¹² آنها می‌گفتند: «آمین! حمد و جلال و حكمت، سپاس و حرمت، قدرت و قوّت از آن خدای ما باد تا به ابد! آمین!»

¹³One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?”

¹³ آنگاه یكی از آن پیران به من خطاب كرده گفت: «این مردان سفیدپوش چه کسانی هستند و اهل كجایند؟»

¹⁴I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.

¹⁴ من پاسخ دادم: «ای آقای من، تو باید بدانی.» سپس به من گفت: «اینها كسانی هستند كه از آن عذاب سخت گذشته‌اند، رداهای خود را شسته و در خون برّه سفید کرده‌اند.

¹⁵Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.

¹⁵ به این سبب آنها در برابر تخت خدا هستند و او را شب و روز در معبدش خدمت می‌کنند و آنان در سایهٔ آن تخت‌نشین خواهند بود.

¹⁶They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat;

¹⁶ آنان دیگر احساس گرسنگی یا تشنگی نخواهند كرد. خورشید و یا هیچ گرمای سوزانی به آنها آسیبی نخواهد رسانید. زیرا آن برّه كه در مركز تخت است، شبان آنان خواهد بود و آنان را به چشمه‌های آب حیات هدایت خواهد كرد و خدا همهٔ اشکها را از چشمان آنان پاک خواهد كرد.»

¹⁷for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

¹⁷ زیرا آن برّه كه در مركز تخت است، شبان آنان خواهد بود و آنان را به چشمه‌های آب حیات هدایت خواهد كرد و خدا همهٔ اشکها را از چشمان آنان پاک خواهد كرد.»
