¹When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

¹ هنگامی‌که برّه، هفتمین مُهر را گشود نزدیک نیم ساعت در آسمان سكوت برقرار بود

²I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

² و من دیدم كه هفت شیپور به هفت فرشته‌ای كه در پیشگاه خدا ایستاده بودند، داده شد.

³Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.

³ در این وقت فرشته‌ای دیگر آمد و پیش قربانگاه ایستاد. او عودسوز زرّینی به دست داشت و مقدار زیادی بُخور به او داده شد تا به همراه دعاهای همهٔ مقدّسین، بر قربانگاه زرّین جلوی تخت تقدیم نماید.

⁴The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.

⁴ دود بُخور از دست آن فرشته همراه با دعاهای مقدّسین به پیشگاه خدا بالا رفت.

⁵The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake.

⁵ فرشته، عودسوز را برداشته، آن را از آتش قربانگاه پُر ساخت و آن را به روی زمین افكند. آنگاه رعد و برق و صدای مهیبی برخاست و زمین لرزید.

⁶The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

⁶ هفت فرشته‌ای كه هفت شیپور به دست داشتند، آماده شدند تا در آنها بدمند.

⁷The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, TR omits “One third of the earth was burnt up” and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

⁷ اولین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید و تگرگ و آتش آمیخته با خون بارید و بر روی زمین فرو ریخت، یک سوم زمین و یک سوم درختان و همهٔ سبزه‌‌ها سوختند.

⁸The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,

⁸ دومین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید. چیزی مانند كوهی مشتعل به دریا افكنده شد و یک سوم دریا به خون مبدل گردید

⁹and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.

⁹ و یک سوم موجودات زنده دریا مُردند و یک سوم كشتیهای آن غرق گشتند.

¹⁰The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.

¹⁰ سومین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید و ستارهٔ بزرگی كه مانند مشعل بزرگ و سوزانی بود، از آسمان بر روی یک سوم رودخانه‌ها و چشمه‌سارها افتاد.

¹¹The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

¹¹ (نام آن ستاره خاراگوش بود.) یک سوم آب به زهر مبدّل گردید و بسیاری از مردم به علّت آن مردند زیرا آب سَمّی شده بود.

¹²The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.

¹² سپس چهارمین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید. چنان ضربه‌ای به یک سوم خورشید و یک سوم ماه و یک سوم ستارگان وارد شد كه یک سوم آنها تاریک شدند و یک سوم نور روز و یک سوم نور شب از بین رفت. آنگاه من عقابی را دیدم كه در آسمان پرواز می‌کرد و با صدای بلند می‌گفت: «وای، وای، وای بر ساكنان زمین، زیرا كه هم‌اكنون سه فرشتهٔ دیگر شیپورهای خود را خواهند دمید.»

¹³I saw, and I heard an eagle, TR reads “angel” instead of “eagle” flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”

¹³ آنگاه من عقابی را دیدم كه در آسمان پرواز می‌کرد و با صدای بلند می‌گفت: «وای، وای، وای بر ساكنان زمین، زیرا كه هم‌اكنون سه فرشتهٔ دیگر شیپورهای خود را خواهند دمید.»
