¹I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.

⁴Then I called on the name of Yahweh: “Yahweh, I beg you, deliver my soul.”

⁴Então invoquei o nome do Senhor, dizendo:Ó Senhor, eu te rogo, livra-me.

⁵Yahweh is Gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.

⁵Compassivo é o Senhor, e justo; sim, misericordioso é o nosso Deus.

⁶Yahweh preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.

⁶O Senhor guarda os simples; quando me acho abatido, ele me salva.

⁷Return to your rest, my soul, for Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.

⁷Volta, minha alma, ao teu repouso, pois o Senhor te fez bem.

⁸For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁸Pois livraste a minha alma da morte, os meus olhos das lágrimas, e os meus pés de tropeçar.

⁹Andarei perante o Senhor, na terra dos viventes.

¹⁰I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”

¹⁰Cri, por isso falei; estive muito aflito.

¹¹I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”

¹¹Eu dizia na minha precipitação: Todos os homens são mentirosos.

¹²Que darei eu ao Senhor por todos os benefícios que me tem feito?

¹³Tomarei o cálice da salvação, e invocarei o nome do Senhor.

¹⁴I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people.

¹⁴Pagarei os meus votos ao Senhor, na presença de todo o seu povo.

¹⁵Preciosa é � vista do Senhor a morte dos seus santos.

¹⁶Yahweh, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your handmaid. You have freed me from my chains.

¹⁶Ó Senhor, deveras sou teu servo; sou teu servo, filho da tua serva; soltaste as minhas cadeias.

¹⁷I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on the name of Yahweh.

¹⁷Oferecer-te-ei sacrifícios de ação de graças, e invocarei o nome do Senhor.

¹⁸I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people,

¹⁸Pagarei os meus votos ao Senhor, na presença de todo o seu povo,

¹⁹in the courts of Yahweh’s house, in the midst of you, Jerusalem. Praise Yah!
