²A vy ste nadutí, a nie aby ste sa radšej boli rozžialili, aby ten, ktorý spáchal taký skutok, bol vylúčený zpomedzi vás.

⁶Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

⁶Nie je dobrá vaša chvála. Či neviete, že málo kvasu nakvasuje celé cesto?

⁷Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

⁷Vyčistite starý kvas, aby ste boli novým cestom, tak ako ste nenakvasení. Lebo veď i náš veľkonočný Baránok je zabitý za nás, Kristus.

⁸Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

⁸A tak sväťme, nie v starom kvase ani v kvase zlosti a nešľachetnosti, ale v nekvasenom čistoty a pravdy.

⁹I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;

⁹Písal som vám v liste, aby ste sa nemiešali so smilníkmi,

¹⁰yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.

¹⁰ale nie vôbec so smilníkmi tohoto sveta alebo s lakomcami a s dráčmi alebo s modlármi, pretože by ste museli vyjsť zo sveta.

¹¹But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don’t even eat with such a person.

¹¹Ale teraz som vám písal nemiešať sa, keby sa niekto menoval bratom a bol smilník alebo lakomec alebo modlár alebo nadávač alebo opilec alebo dráč, s takým ani nejesť.

¹²For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?

¹²Lebo čože je mne do toho, aby som mal súdiť aj tých, ktorí sú vonku?! Či vy nesúdite tých, ktorí sú vnútri?

¹³But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.” Deuteronomy 17:7; 19:19; 21:21; 22:21; 24:7

¹³A tých, ktorí sú vonku, súdi Bôh. Vylúčte toho zlého sami zpomedzi seba!
