1Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
1Bratia, keby aj bol človek zachvátený nejakým pokleskom, vy duchovní napravte takého v duchu krotkosti, a každý hľaď sám na seba, aby si aj ty nebol pokušený.
2Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
2Jedni druhých bremená neste a tak naplňte zákon Kristov.
3For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
3Lebo ak niekto myslí, že je niečim nie súc ničím, sám seba zvodí.
4But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.
4Ale každý nech zkúša svoje vlastné dielo a potom bude mať chválu vzťahom na samého seba a nie vzťahom na iného.
5For each man will bear his own burden.
5Lebo každý ponesie svoje vlastné bremä.
6But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
6A ten, kto je vynaučovaný v slove, nech sa sdieľa s tým, kto ho vynaučuje, všetkým dobrým.
7Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
7Nemýľte sa Bohu sa nebude nikto posmievať. Lebo čokoľvek seje človek, to bude i žať.
8For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
8Lebo ten, kto seje v svoje telo, z tela bude žať porušenie; a ten, kto seje v Ducha, z Ducha bude žať večný život.
9Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
9A činiac dobré neustávajme, lebo svojím časom budeme žať neumdlievajúci.
10So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
10A tak tedy, kým máme čas, robme dobre všetkým a najviac domácim viery.
11See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.
11Vidzte, jakými veľkými písmenami som vám napísal vlastnou rukou!
12As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
12Všetci, ktorí chcú byť pekní v tele, tí vás nútia obrezovať sa, len aby neboli prenasledovaní pre kríž Kristov.
13For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
13Lebo ani sami tí, ktorí sa to obrezujú, nezachovávajú zákona, ale chcú, aby ste sa obrezovali, aby sa pochválili vaším telom.
14But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
14Ale odo mňa nech je to preč, aby som sa chválil krome krížom našeho Pána Ježiša Krista, skrze ktorého mi je svet ukrižovaný a ja svetu.
15For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
15Lebo v Kristu Ježišovi ani obriezka nič nevládze ani neobriezka, ale nové stvorenie.
16As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.
16A na všetkých, ktorí budú chodiť podľa toho pravidla, nech prijde pokoj a milosrdenstvo i na Izraela Božieho.
17From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.
17A ďalej nech ma nikto netrápi, lebo ja nosím jazvy Pána Ježiša na svojom tele.
18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
