²Hospodin pozrel z nebies na synov človeka, aby videl, či je niekto medzi nimi rozumný, hľadajúci Boha.

³Všetci dovedna sa odvrátili: zkazení sú. Neni toho, kto by činil dobré, neni ani jedného.

⁴Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?

⁴Či toho nevedia všetci činitelia neprávosti, ktorí zjedajú môj ľud, ako jedia chlieb, a na Hospodina nevolajú?

⁵Tam sa raz budú náramne desiť; lebo Hospodin je v pokolení spravedlivého.

⁶Radu biedneho zahanbujete, lebo Hospodin je jeho útočišťom.

⁷Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
