1 Corinthians

12

1Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant.
1 Sohõ, nya-izey, Biya Hanno _nooyaŋey|_ ciine ra, ngey neeya: Ay si ba araŋ ma jaŋ ka bay i gaa.
2You know that when you were heathen , you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
2 Araŋ bay kaŋ waato kaŋ araŋ goro dumi cindey boroyaŋ, i n'araŋ darandi tooru beebey do, sanda mate kaŋ i n'araŋ candi nd'a.
3Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit.
3 Woodin sabbay se no ay g'araŋ fahamandi nda woone: boro kulu si no kaŋ ga salaŋ Irikoy Biya do ka ne: «Yesu ya laalante no!» Boro kulu si no mo kaŋ ga hin ka ne: «Yesu ya Rabbi no!» kala day Biya Hanno do.
4Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
4 Nooyaŋ waani-waani yaŋ go no, amma Biya _Hanno|_ follonka no.
5There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
5 Saajawyaŋ waani-waani yaŋ mo go no, amma Rabbi follonka no.
6There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.
6 Goy dumi waani-waani yaŋ mo go no, amma Irikoy follonka no, nga kaŋ ga hay kulu goy boro kulu ra.
7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
8For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
8 Zama boro fo du laakal sanni Biya _Hanno|_ do, afo mo du bayray sanni Biya _Hanno|_ follonka din do.
9to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;
9 Boro fo mo koyne du cimbeeri Biya _Hanno|_ follonka do, afo mo du baani nooyaŋ dabari Biya _Hanno|_ follonka din do.
10and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.
10 Afo mo du dabari goy teeyaŋ hin, afo mo annabitaray teeyaŋ, afo mo biyey fayankayaŋ, afo mo ciine waani-waani yaŋ, afo mo koyne ciine feeriyaŋ.
11But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
11 Amma hayey din kulu, Biya _Hanno|_ follonka din no g'i te, a g'i fay ka zaban boro fo kulu se, mate kaŋ a ga ba.
12For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
12 Zama mate kaŋ cine gaaham folloŋ gonda jare boobo, amma gaaham jarey kulu, kaŋ ga ti iboobo, i ga te gaaham folloŋ, yaadin mo no Almasihu go.
13For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
13 Zama Biya _Hanno|_ folloŋ do no i na baptisma te iri kulu se gaaham folloŋ ra, da Yahudancey no wala Garekey no, da bannyey no wala burciney no, i n'iri kulu haŋandi mo da Biya _Hanno|_ folloŋ.
14For the body is not one member, but many.
14 Zama gaahamo bumbo manti jare folloŋ no, amma iboobo no.
15If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body.
16If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.
17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?
17 Da gaaham kulu ga ti mo, man hanga maayaŋ? D'a kulu ga ti maayaŋ, man niine maniyaŋ?
18But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.
18 Amma sohõ Irikoy na jare fo kulu daŋ gaahamo ra mate kaŋ a ga ba.
19If they were all one member, where would the body be?
19 D'i kulu jare folloŋ no, man gaahamo?
20But now they are many members, but one body.
20 Day sohõ jare boobo go no, amma gaaham folloŋ no.
21The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.”
22No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
22 Sanku fa gaaham jarey kaŋ go sanda i jaŋ gaabi, i ga tilas no.
23Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety;
23 Woodin banda, wo kaŋ yaŋ iri ga guna sanda i sinda beeray, iri g'i beerandi ka tonton. Iri gaaham jarey mo kaŋ gunayaŋ si boori, iri g'i sutura ka tonton,
24whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part,
24 amma wo kaŋ yaŋ ga boori si laami nda hay kulu. Amma Irikoy na gaahamo margu care banda ka beeray tonton jara kaŋ sinda gaa,
25that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
26When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
26 Da jare fo go taabi ra, jarey kulu go ga maa taabi a banda. Da jare fo du darza mo, jarey kulu ga farhã a banda.
27Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
27 Araŋ binde, araŋ ga ti Almasihu gaahamo, araŋ boro fo kulu mo te jare fo a ra.
28God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.
28 Irikoy mo na boro fooyaŋ daŋ Almasihu marga ra: sintina, diyey; ihinkanta, annabey*; ihinzanta, dondonandikoy. Woodin banda, dabari goyey, gaa baani nooyaŋey hina, da gaakasinayey, da mayrayey, da ciine waani-waani yaŋ.
29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
29 Ikulu diyayaŋ no, wala? Wala ikulu annabiyaŋ no? Wala ikulu dondonandikoyaŋ no? Wala ikulu ga dabari goy te no?
30Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?
30 Wala ikulu gonda baani nooyaŋ hina no? Wala ikulu ga salaŋ da ciine waani-waani yaŋ no? Wala ikulu ga ciine waani-waani yaŋ bare no?
31But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
31 Amma araŋ ma nooyaŋey kaŋ ga boori nda ikulu bini. Day sohõ ay ga fondo cabe araŋ se kaŋ ga bisa ikulu.
