2 Chronicles

33

1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
1 Manasse gonda jiiri way cindi hinka waato kaŋ a sintin ka may. A may jiiri waygu cindi gu Urusalima ra.
2He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, after the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.
2 A na goy laalo te Rabbi diyaŋ gaa. A goono ga dumi cindey fanta harey gana, dumey kaŋ Rabbi gaaray Israyla izey jine.
3For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he reared up altars for the Baals, and made Asheroth, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.
3 Zama a ye ka tudey boŋ sududuyaŋ nangey kaŋ a baabo Hezeciya zeeri yaŋ cina koyne.
4He built altars in the house of Yahweh, of which Yahweh said, “My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”
4 A na feemayaŋ cina mo Rabbi windo ra, windo kaŋ ciine ra Rabbi ne: «Urusalima ra no ay maa ga goro hal abada.»
5He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of the house of Yahweh.
5 A na sargay feemayaŋ cina beene kundey kulu se Rabbi windo batama hinka ra.
6He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; and he practiced sorcery, and used enchantments, and practiced sorcery, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he worked much evil in the sight of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger.
7He set the engraved image of the idol, which he had made, in God’s house, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever:
7 A na jabuyaŋ himandi tooro kaŋ a te sinji Irikoy windo ra, windo kaŋ ciine ra Irikoy ne Dawda nda nga izo Suleymanu se: «Windo wo ra da Urusalima kaŋ ay suuban Israyla kundey kulu ra, noodin no ay g'ay maa daŋ hal abada.
8neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law and the statutes and the ordinances given by Moses.”
8 Ay si ye ka Israyla ce hibandi ka kaa laabo kaŋ ay suuban araŋ kaayey se din ra, hala day i goono ga haggoy ka te hay kulu kaŋ ay n'i lordi, danga asariya, da hin sanney, da farilley kulu kaŋ yaŋ ay daŋ Musa kambe ra.»
9Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than the nations whom Yahweh destroyed before the children of Israel did.
9 Manasse na Yahuda da Urusalima borey darandi k'i daŋ goy laalo teeyaŋ ra kaŋ jaase mebarawey wane, ngey kaŋ yaŋ Rabbi halaci Israyla izey jine.
10Yahweh spoke to Manasseh, and to his people; but they gave no heed.
10 Rabbi salaŋ Manasse da nga jama se mo, amma i mana hangan.
11Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
11 Woodin se no Rabbi kande i se jine boroyaŋ, Assiriya bonkoono wongu marga wane yaŋ. I na Manasse di mo ka korbay daŋ a se niina gaa. I n'a haw da guuru-say sisiriyaŋ ka kond'a Babila.
12When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
12 Waato kaŋ cine a go kankamo ra, a na Rabbi nga Irikoyo ŋwaaray.
13He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.
13 Waato kaŋ a na adduwa te a gaa mo, nga mo n'a ŋwaara saal ka tu a adduwa se. A ye ka kand'a Urusalima nga mayray nango ra. Saaya din gaa no Manasse bay kaŋ Rabbi no ga ti Irikoy.
14Now after this he built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate; and he encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height: and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.
14 Woodin banda a na birni cinari fo cina taray haray ka Dawda birno windi nd'a, Jihon wayna kaŋay gooro ra, hal a koy ka to Hari Ham Meyo gaa. A na Ofel mo windi nd'a k'a kuuyaŋo tonton da cimi. A na soojeyaŋ daŋ Yahuda galley kulu ra kaŋ yaŋ gonda wongu jidan bisa.
15He took away the foreign gods, and the idol out of the house of Yahweh, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the house of Yahweh, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
A n'i gusam birno banda.
16He built up the altar of Yahweh, and offered thereon sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving, and commanded Judah to serve Yahweh, the God of Israel.
16 A ye ka Rabbi feema sinji.
17Nevertheless the people sacrificed still in the high places, but only to Yahweh their God.
17 Kulu nda yaadin borey mana fay da sargayey teeyaŋ tudey boŋ sududuyaŋ nangey ra, amma kala Rabbi ngey Irikoyo hinne se.
18Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the acts of the kings of Israel.
18 Manasse goy cindey mo, d'a adduwa kaŋ a te nga Irikoyo gaa, da borey kaŋ yaŋ ga fonnay sanney kaŋ yaŋ i salaŋ a se Rabbi, Israyla Irikoyo maa gaa, ngey neeya, i go Israyla bonkooney baaru tira ra.
19His prayer also, and how God was entreated of him, and all his sin and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places, and set up the Asherim and the engraved images, before he humbled himself: behold, they are written in the history of Hozai.
19 A adduwa kaŋ a te din, da mate kaŋ Rabbi tu a se d'a, d'a zunubo d'a amaana ŋwaaray kulu, da tudey boŋ sududuyaŋ nangey kaŋ a cina, da bundu tooro kaŋ a sinji, da jabuyaŋ himandey kaŋ jine a na nga boŋ kaynandi, a go, i n'i hantum Fonnaykoy tira ra.
20So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his place.
20 Manasse mo kani nga kaayey banda. I n'a fiji nga bumbo windo ra. A ize Amon te bonkooni a nango ra.
21Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
21 Amon gonda jiiri waranka cindi hinka waato kaŋ a sintin ka may. A may jiiri hinka Urusalima ra.
22He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as did Manasseh his father; and Amon sacrificed to all the engraved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them.
23He didn’t humble himself before Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.
23 Amma a mana nga boŋ kaynandi Rabbi jine, sanda mate kaŋ cine a baabo Manasse na nga boŋ kaynandi. Amma Amon wo soobay ka taali te ka tonton.
24His servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house.
24 A bannyey mo na me haw a boŋ k'a wi nga windo ra.
25But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
Laabo borey n'a izo Yosiya didiji bonkooni mo a nango ra.
