1It happened in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it around it.
1 I go no, a koytaray jiiri yagganta ra, handu way, hando jirbi wayanta hane, kala Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar kaa, nga nda nga wongu jama, zama i ma wongu nda Urusalima. A n'a windi nda wongu. I na fu beeri gaabikooni yaŋ cina mo k'a windi.
2So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
2 Hala Bonkoono Zedeciya jiiri way cindi fa i na kwaara windi nda wongu.
3On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
3 Handu taaca, jirbi yagganta hane hara kankam kwaara ra hal i jaŋ ŋwaari laabo borey se.
4Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king’s garden (now the Chaldeans were against the city around it); and the king went by the way of the Arabah.
4 Alwaato din gaa i na fune te kwaara cinaro gaa. Yahuda soojey kulu mo zuru cino ra ka gana fonda kaŋ go meyo kaŋ go garu hinka game ra din gaa ka fatta, meyo kaŋ go bonkoono kalo jarga nooya. (Amma Kaldancey wongu jama goono ga kwaara windi; i goono ga wongu nd'a.) Bonkoono mo gana Gooru Beero fonda gaa haray.
5But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
5 Amma Kaldancey soojey na bonkoono ce banda gana k'a to Yeriko batama ra. Zedeciya soojey kulu say k'a naŋ.
6Then they took the king, and carried him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment on him.
6 Kal i na bonkoono di ka kond'a Babila bonkoono do Ribla ra, nga mo n'a ciiti.
7They killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
7 I na Zedeciya izey wi a jine ka Zedeciya moy looti. I n'a haw da guuru-say sisiriyaŋ ka kond'a Babila.
8Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, to Jerusalem.
8 Bonkoono Nebukadnezzar mayra jiiri way cindi yagganta, handu guwanta, hando zaari iyyanta hane, kala Nebuzaradan, batukoy jine bora, Babila bonkoono tamo kaa Urusalima.
9He burnt the house of Yahweh, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burnt he with fire.
9 A na Rabbi windo nda bonkoono windo da Urusalima windey kulu ton. A na danji daŋ windi beerey kulu gaa.
10All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down the walls around Jerusalem.
10 Kaldancey soojey kulu mo kaŋ go batukoy jine bora banda na Urusalima birni cinarey bagu-bagu nangu kulu.
11Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive the residue of the people who were left in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude.
11 Borey mo kaŋ cindi kwaara ra, da ngey kaŋ yaŋ fay ka ye Babila bonkoono banda, da boro buuno cindo kulu, batukoy jine bora Nebuzaradan n'i ku ka kond'ey tamtaray.
12But the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to work the vineyards and fields.
12 Amma batukoy jina bora fay da alfukaarey laabo ra, i ma ciya reyzin* nya hansekoyaŋ da farkoyaŋ mo.
13The Chaldeans broke up the pillars of brass that were in the house of Yahweh and the bases and the bronze sea that were in the house of Yahweh, and carried the brass pieces to Babylon.
13 Kaldancey mo na guuru-say muuley kaŋ go Rabbi windo ra, da ganda jisiyaŋey, da guuru-say bango kaŋ go Rabbi windo ra bagu-bagu. I na guuru sayo sambu ka kond'a Babila.
14They took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered.
14 Kusey mo, da cambey, da fitilla korfo hanseyaŋ harey, da kawrey, da guuru-say jinay kulu kaŋ i ga goy te d'a, i n'i kulu ku.
15The captain of the guard took away the fire pans, the basins, that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver.
15 Danji kuyaŋ taasey da wura da nzarfu gaasey mo, batukoy jine bora n'i kulu ku.
16The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases, which Solomon had made for the house of Yahweh, the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
17The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a capital of brass was on it; and the height of the capital was three cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capital around it, all of brass: and like to these had the second pillar with network.
17 Muulu fo kuuyaŋ kambe kar way cindi ahakku no, guuru-say tuk'ize mo go a boŋ. Tuk'izo kuuyaŋo mo, kambe kar hinza no, da taaru da garenad* tuuri ize himandiyaŋ a boŋ nangu kulu, guuru-say wane no. Muule hinkanta mo, yaadin no a bara, nga nda guuru-say taaru care banda.
18The captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the threshold:
18 Batukoy jine bora na alfaga beero Seraya sambu, da Alfa Zafaniya kaŋ ga dake a gaa, da me batuko hinza mo.
19and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and five men of those who saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe, the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the city.
19 Birno ra mo a sambu mantaw fo kaŋ i daŋ soojey boŋ, boro gu kaŋ yaŋ ga ti bonkoono saawarekasiney, wo kaŋ yaŋ i gar kwaara ra, da bora kaŋ ga hantum batukoy jine bora se, da wongu jama arkuso, nga kaŋ ga laabo jama margu, da boro waydu laabo jama ra, kaŋ yaŋ i n'i gar kwaara ra.
20Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
20 Batukoy jine bora Nebuzaradan n'i sambu ka kond'ey Babila bonkoono do Ribla ra.
21The king of Babylon struck them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.
21 Kala Babila bonkoono n'i kar k'i wi Ribla ra, Hamat laabo ra. Yaadin no a konda Yahuda ka daŋ tamtaray ra d'a k'i fay da ngey laabo.
22As for the people who were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, governor.
22 Amma borey kaŋ cindi Yahuda laabo ra sanni, ngey kaŋ yaŋ Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar naŋ, i boŋ a na Gedaliya Ahikam izo, Safan ize daŋ a m'i may.
23Now when all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.
23 I go no, alwaato kaŋ wongu margey jine borey kulu, ngey nda ngey borey maa baaru kaŋ Babila bonkoono na Gedaliya daŋ a ma dabari, kal i kaa Gedaliya do Mizpa ra. 24Gedaliah swore to them and to their men, and said to them, “Don’t be afraid because of the servants of the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.”
24 Gedaliya mo ze ngey nda ngey borey se ka ne: «Wa si humburu Kaldancey bannyey. W'araŋ gora te laabo ra, ka Babila bonkoono gana, araŋ ga goro baani mo.»
25But it happened in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal seed came, and ten men with him, and struck Gedaliah, so that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldeans that were with him at Mizpah.
25 Amma a ciya, handu iyyanta ra, kala Isumeyla Netaniya izo, Elisama ize kaŋ ga ti fuula banda fo kaa, nga nda boro way nga banda. I na Gedaliya kar kal a bu, nga nda Yahudancey da Kaldancey kulu kaŋ yaŋ go a banda Mizpa ra.
26All the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces, arose, and came to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.
26 Jama kulu mo, za zankey gaa ka koy albeerey gaa, da wongu margey jine borey tun ka koy Misira, zama i ga humburu Kaldancey.
27It happened in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
27 I go no, Yahuda bonkoono Yehoyacin tamtara jiiri waranza cindi iyyanta ra, a handu way cindi hinkanta, zaari waranka cindi iyyanta hando ra, kala Babila bonkoono Ebil-Merodak jiiri sintina ra, a na Yahuda bonkoono Yehoyacin kaa kasu fuwo ra k'a beerandi.

29and changed his prison garments. Jehoiachin ate bread before him continually all the days of his life:
29 A n'a kasu bankaarayey kaa ka barmay a se afooyaŋ. A ga ŋwa Babila bonkoono jine waati kulu kal a fundo me.
30and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him of the king, every day a portion, all the days of his life.
30 Haŋ kaŋ a ga laami kulu ga fun bonkoono do, zama bonkoono g'a no nga baa waati kulu, zaari kulu kal a jirbey me.
