4

1You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before yourself, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem:
1 Ni mo, boro izo, kala ni ma fareeje fo sambu ka jisi ni jine. Ma birni deedandi jeeri a boŋ, sanda Urusalima* birno nooya.
2and lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it, and plant battering rams against it all around.
2 Ma cabe kaŋ i n'a windi nda wongu, i na wongu fuyaŋ cina kaŋ ga gaaba nd'a, i na laabu guyaŋ tulluwa a casanta, i na wongu marga gata sinji a se kuray kulu, i n'a windi mo nda wongu cinari baguyaŋ hari.
3Take for yourself an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
3 Ma ye ka sambu guuru taasa kaŋ ga tafay ka boori. M'a jisi a ma ciya sanda guuru cinari nin da birno deedando game ra. Ma ni mo sinji a do haray hala wongu m'a windi, ni g'a windi nda wongu marga mo. Woodin no ga ciya alaama Israyla dumo se.
4Moreover lie on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; according to the number of the days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.
4 Ni bumbo mo, kala ni ma kani ni kambe wow carawo gaa, naŋ kaŋ ni ga Israyla dumo zunubey dake. Jirbey kaŋ ni goono ga kani yaadin cine, ni goono g'i zunubey jare.
5For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred ninety days: so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
Yaadin cine no ni ga Israyla dumo zunubey jare nd'a.
6Again, when you have accomplished these, you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah: forty days, each day for a year, have I appointed it to you.
7You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.
7 Ni ga ni moyduma ye wongu marga kaŋ go ga Urusalima windi do haray, ni ga ni kwaay kamba saku, ni ga annabitaray te mo gallo boŋ.
8Behold, I lay bands on you, and you shall not turn you from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.
8 A go mo, ay ga korfoyaŋ daŋ ni gaa.
9Take for yourself also wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make bread of it; according to the number of the days that you shall lie on your side, even three hundred ninety days, you shall eat of it.
M'i daŋ kusu folloŋ ra ka buuru te d'ey. Ni jirbey baayaŋ kaŋ ni ga kani kambu fa gaa lasaabuyaŋ me, sanda jirbi zangu hinza nda wayga din nooya, yaadin cine no ni g'a ŋwa.
10Your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time you shall eat it.
10 }waaro kaŋ ni ga ŋwa din mo, neesiyaŋ boŋ no a ga te: kilo farsimi taacante tiŋay zaari kulu, alwaati ka kaa alwaati no ni g'a ŋwa.
11You shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time you shall drink.
11 Hari mo, neesiyaŋ boŋ no ni g'a haŋ, litar jare cine, alwaati ka kaa alwaati no ni g'a haŋ.
12You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.
12 Sayir* maasa himandi cine no ni g'a ŋwa, ni g'a haagu mo i jine nda boro wuri.
13Yahweh said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.
13 Rabbi ne mo: Yaadin cine no Israyla izey ga ngey ŋwaarey ŋwa da harram, dumi cindey game ra, nangey kaŋ ay g'i gaaray ka kond'ey.
14Then I said, Ah Lord Yahweh! behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
Ham kaŋ ga harram mo, a mana furo ay me ra baa ce fo.»
15Then he said to me, Behold, I have given you cow’s dung for man’s dung, and you shall prepare your bread thereon.
15 Kal a ne ay se: A go, ay na ni no haw hangare boro wuri nango ra, a boŋ no ni ga ni ŋwaaro soola.
16Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness; and they shall drink water by measure, and in dismay:
16 A ye ka ne ay se: Boro izo, ma guna: ay ga fundi gaabandiyaŋ hari pati, sanda ŋwaari nooya, Urusalima ra. I ga ngey ŋwaaro kulu neesi no, k'a ŋwa da karhã. I ga ngey haro mo haŋ no neesiyaŋ boŋ ka margu nda jijiriyaŋ.
17that they may want bread and water, and be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
17 Hal a ga to naŋ kaŋ i ga jaŋ ŋwaari nda hari zaati. I ma care guna boŋ-haway ra, i ma lakaw ka ban ngey zunubey ra.
